Abstract: A wireless LAN access authentication system capable of shortening the time required for an access authentication procedure of a radio terminal apparatus. In this wireless LAN access authentication system, when a radio terminal apparatus 116 of a user who has sent an access request is already registered through initial access, a gateway apparatus 111 searches for a WEP key assigned to the radio terminal apparatus 116 through a WEP key control section 306 and redistributes the WEP key registered beforehand to a new access point section 124 in the destination area and the radio terminal apparatus 116. The radio terminal apparatus 116 and access point section 124 to which the WEP key has been distributed encrypt transmission/reception data in a predetermined radio section using the redistributed WEP key and carry out a communication.

  • Patent number: 7126430
Abstract: The frequency of a first voltage controlled oscillator is stabilized in a first PLL circuit part into which a reference frequency signal is inputted. In addition, a second PLL circuit part is formed by inputting a control voltage which is the same as the frequency control voltage of the first voltage controlled oscillator into a second voltage controlled oscillator having the same configuration as the first voltage controlled oscillator. The first PLL circuit part is provided with first and second variable frequency dividers which respectively divide the reference frequency signal and the output of the first voltage controlled oscillator. In response to an input signal into the second PLL circuit part, the free-running frequencies of the second and first voltage controlled oscillators are switched, and at the same time, the division ratio of first and second variable frequency dividers are switched.

  • Patent number: 7117317
Abstract: A storage apparatus and method may store received data streams that each have data blocks distributed over a plurality of transmission frames. Adjacent memory addresses are allocated to store the data streams. For each data stream, a set of adjacent allocated memory addresses is assigned to store the corresponding data blocks such that sets having adjacent memory addresses are assigned to the data streams in an order of the data streams defined by a descending number of frames containing a data block of the respective data stream. Data of each received data block are stored at the assigned memory addresses of the storage component as each data block is received. The set of memory addresses assigned to each data stream are de-allocated, after the stored data stream is retrieved, such that the sets of memory addresses are de-allocated in the reverse order they were assigned to the data streams.

  • Patent number: 7116947
Abstract: An amplitude component and a phase component of a modulated signal are inputted into a power supply terminal and an input terminal of an RF power amplifier, respectively, and a modulated wave that is produced by demodulating an original modulated signal is obtained from the RF power amplifier. A supply voltage is supplied to an emitter follower and an operational amplifier via a switch group from a DC-DC converter group whose output voltages are sequentially different. As the supply voltage, any pair of outputs of DC-DC converters by the switch group is selected according to levels of the amplitude component, and provides them to the emitter follower and the operational amplifier. The emitter follower performs a DC conversion of the provided supply voltage to provide it to the RF power amplifier.

  • Patent number: 7116564
Abstract: Overload protecting operation is performed by controlling the current peak value of a switching device 1 through the use of a comparator 8, a NAND circuit 5, and so on according to variations in feedback current being input to a feedback signal control circuit 11, internally setting the overcurrent protection of switching device 1 through the use of a clamp circuit 12, charging a capacitor 34 when having fallen below a specified current smaller than current required for the overcurrent protection for a fixed time period, and detecting rise in voltage VOL at the capacitor 34 to a constant voltage to stop switching operation. By achieving the overload protection under normal load and the overcurrent protection against peak load in a single switching power supply unit, problems such as the complexity of the unit and an increase in the element count of the control circuit are solved.

  • Patent number: 7114121
Abstract: A data distributor distributes interleaved data strings and outputs them to puncturing sections in a frame unit. A puncturing instructing section refers to a rate matching table to output information on data to be punctured to a plurality of puncturing sections. Each puncturing section performs the judgment processing on whether puncturing is to be performed only for parity bits according to the rule of an arrangement of information bits and parity bits for each frame and then performs puncturing. This enables to reduce processing for turbo-coded data after interleave processing and to perform light-load rate matching.
