    Abstract: An apparatus for automatically delivering placed and oriented pieces of meat to a netter for wrapping and netting is described, in which the placement and orientation of the meat pieces remains unchanged from initial placement until final wrapping and netting. The apparatus is a conveyor having a series of compartments in which the meat is placed and oriented. The conveyor is situated below the level of the breech of the feed tube to the netter, so that a compartment carried on said conveyor will be precisely aligned with the opening to the feed tube. A ram pushes the meat pieces out of the compartment and into the feed tube, without changing the placement or orientation of the meat pieces relative to each other. The netter wraps the meat pieces in a collagen film and encases the wrapped meat in a net for further processing.

The objective is met by a sports goal comprising two uprights and a crossbar, and a respective connecting member to attach each upright to the crossbar, each connecting member being secured to a respective end of the crossbar and detachably attached to a respective upright by a spigot on the connecting member or upright slidably engaging a socket on the upright or the connecting member, with a releasable barrel lock to secure the spigot within the socket.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a watch band construction which includes a top layer, a bottom layer and an insert. The top and bottom layers each have an aperture provided proximate to the tip ends thereof. The insert is positioned between the top and bottom layers within the apertures and is stitched to the top and bottom layers to secure the insert between the top and bottom layers. The insert provides the tip for the watch band, as well as the holes through which the buckle prong extends. The tip may be formed with raised portions and the holes may be formed with angled walls at the bottom of the insert. The insert is formed with a curve bias along both a length and width thereof. The insert is formed of a sturdy material, such as resin, such that it is durable and long lasting in the areas of high wear.

On-chip built-in self test (BIST) circuitry is added to the design that analyzes the 10-bit value captured from the counter, and indicates to the ATE via a single pin at a single test vector location whether or not the device has passed its test limits. An alternative solution is to use the digital capture circuitry on a mixed-signal tester to capture the non-deterministic digital word generated by the process monitor circuitry, and then test that result against the desired test limits.

    Abstract: A sensor system comprised of a diffuse light source and a sensor mounted on a transparent layer of material that is adjacent to a fluid. The refractive index of the transparent layer is greater than the refractive index of the fluid, causing a portion of the diffuse light source to be reflected from the interface of the transparent layer and the adjacent fluid. A sensor is placed at a location to intercept the reflected light. The diffuse light source and the sensor are optically coupled to the transparent layer with a transparent material wit a refractive index greater than that of the fluid. A light absorbing coating is placed ante surface of the transparent layer in order to absorb extraneous light from internal scattering of light from the fluid and light external to the sensor system.

    Abstract: A flow probe for use in a humidification system is positioned in a humidified gases flow such as that which is provided to a patient in a hospital environment. The flow probe is designed to provide both temperature and flow rate sensing of the gases flow by incorporating two sensors into the gases flow. The flow probes are shaved and aligned within the gases flow to enable accurate gas flow readings to be taken whilst reducing the occurrence of condensation on the sensors. The flow probe can also be included in a humidification control systems to provide a patient with a desired humidity level or simplify the amount of user input required to set humidity levels. Furthermore, the flow probe can provide a controller with flow information which may then be used to determine certain conditions that could prove to be dangerous to a patient.

The first spring has a higher rating than does the second spring. While the first spring is configured to accommodate inertia loading, the second spring is configured to urge the jaws closed yet be relatively easily overcome by the insertion of mandrels of different diameters.

A gas bearing manifold receives compressed gases and supplies the compressed gases to the gas bearing passages. The gas bearing passages follow a tortuous path to the openings.
