Abstract: A drive unit is provided for the coaxial twisting movement of two stabilizer halves of a motor vehicle axle stabilizer with a tubular housing. Two housing halves are provided having an interior of which a hydraulically movable actuating piston is arranged displaceably in relation to the longitudinal axis of the housing. The longitudinal displacement of the piston is converted by an intercalated cam drive into a rotary movement of the housing halves around their common longitudinal axis. The housing halves are fixed with their respective free ends facing away from one another at a stabilizer halve. A hydraulically actuated releasing piston is pretensioned against a spring element and arranged at each opposite flat sides of the actuating piston, wherein the releasing pistons make possible the displacing movement of the central actuating piston in the pretensioned position and fix the actuating piston in its middle position in the released position.

This structure includes a roller (6) located above the log output put plane (5) and having axis (a) parallel to the axis of the logs (3). The same roller is driven into rotation about its axis with a preset angular speed so as to intercept each of the logs (3) and slow down the motion thereof along the plane (5). The surface of the roller (6) is pliable and elastic.
Abstract: A device is provided for adjusting a connecting piece (6) mounted rotatably by a mounting device (5). The connecting piece is particularly part of a pedal mechanism of a motor vehicle coupled with a transmission unit (7) for transmitting the movement of the connecting piece (6). An adjusting mechanism (4) is provided for adjusting the position of the connecting piece (6). A locking unit prevents the unintentional adjustment of the connecting piece (6). The mounting device (5) comprises a bearing shell (3) and a baseplate (1). The bearing shell (3) is movably connected to the baseplate (1) arranged stationarily at the vehicle. The bearing shell (3) can be moved along the baseplate (1) upon the loosening of the locking unit such that the position of the transmission unit (7) coupled with the connecting piece (6) remains unchanged during the adjustment of the connecting piece (6) mounted in the mounting device (5), so that the adjusting mechanism (4) is integrated within the mounting device (5).

Abstract: A theft prevention apparatus of a personal watercraft equipped with a main switch for opening/closing a main power-supply circuit including a starting circuit of an engine is provided. The apparatus inhibits the engine from starting when it detects the main switch being in an ON-state, no existence of a connection between an operating device of the main switch and the main switch, and a stopping of the engine. The apparatus prevents the engine from starting by inhibiting at least one of the starting circuits of the engine, an ignition circuit of the engine, and a fuel injection circuit of the engine from closing the circuit(s).
Abstract: A bi-directional dual coil half bridge converter adapted to be coupled to a dual coil actuator of a cylinder valve in an internal combustion engine is described. Abstract: A method is disclosed for controlling operation of an engine coupled to an exhaust treatment catalyst. Under predetermined conditions, the method operates an engine with a first group of cylinders combusting a lean air/fuel mixture and a second group of cylinders pumping air only (i.e., without fuel injection). In addition, the engine control method also provides the following features in combination with the above-described split air/lean mode: idle speed control, sensor diagnostics, air/fuel ratio control, adaptive learning, fuel vapor purging, catalyst temperature estimation, default operation, and exhaust gas and emission control device temperature control. In addition, the engine control method also changes to combusting in all cylinders under preselected operating conditions such as fuel vapor purging, manifold vacuum control, and purging of stored oxidants in an emission control device.
