Abstract: The device comprises: a flowstat 16 with a slider 16B with a built-in magnet 22 designed to interfere with a proximity-operated electric switch 20A; a variable-volume chamber 1 with a flexible wall 9 and spring means 28 that tend to reduce its volume; and a slider 26 combined with said flexible wall 9 and comprising a cam profile 30 acting on the movable slider 16B of the flowstat in the event of a drop in pressure in said chamber 1, in order to displace said slider 16B in the same direction in which the slider is displaced by the flow that passes through the flowstat; by this means the pump is actuated to restore the pressure in said chamber 1; whereas when the pressure in said chamber 1 drops further, owing to a lack of supply of liquid to the pump, the cam profile 30 ceases to act on the movable slider 16B and the pump stops.

According to the invention, the leveler bar comprises at least three support elements which are arranged parallel to one another, extend over the entire length of the oven chamber and are disposed relative to one another such that the leveler bar has a triangular cross-section. The two lower support elements are disposed at the same level and the upper support element is arranged centrally thereabove.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for viewing a configuration of a computer network by polling a plurality of switches and routers present in the network to obtain copies of information stored in databases on the switches and routers. The present invention determines from this combined database is the status of the links, switches and routers, as well as uses software tools to determine the status of the network and its devices. The devices are then graphically displayed according to physical connectivity and status. Each status being displayed differently.

Abstract: A sock or other tubular article with one closed end and with rib fabric--that is, with face and reverse stitches--is formed in a double-cylinder circular machine (1, 3), in which the toe is closed at the end of the process of forming the tubular fabric, by a device (41, 51, 53, 49) that transfers the stitches of one semicircle to the stitches of the opposite semicircle.
Abstract: A process for controlling a gas blower burner in which an ionization electrode sends an electrical variable derived from the combustion temperature or the lambda value to a control circuit, which compares this variable with a selected electrical set point and adjusts the gas-to-air ratio (lambda value) to a corresponding lambda set point. To compensate the effect of a condition-dependent change in the proportionality between the lambda value and the electrical measured variable derived from it on the control in such a way that the desired lambda set point will be maintained, a calibration cycle is run from time to time. The lambda value is reduced from a value of >1 during this cycle. The maximum obtained at lambda=1 is stored. The electrical set point is adjusted with this maximum.
Abstract: A measuring cell (1) for the analysis of a gas sample by infrared absorption, with a measuring path (2) accommodating the gas sample, which has opposite limiting surfaces (7, 9) enclosing the gas sample, wherein a focusing optical component (8) is present at the first limiting surface (7) and an infrared radiation source and a radiation receiver (4) are arranged in the area of the second limiting surface (9) such that a measuring beam (13) emitted by the radiation source (3) is directed onto the radiation receiver (4) through the optical component, shall be improved such that it be suitable for the detection of gases with a long absorption path. A mirror surface (12) active for the measuring path (2) is present in the area of the second limiting surface (9), and the geometry of the optical component (8) is dimensioned such that there is an at least fourfold pass of the measuring beam (13) in the measuring path (2), utilizing the reflection of the beam on the mirror surface (12).
Abstract: The device, which is combined with the needle (1A; 1B) cylinder and cooperates with a normal disc (5) that has hooks (7A, 7B), is located coaxially with the cylinder and can be raised axially; the hooks (7A) of one semicircle can be actuated to take stitch loops from one semicircle of needles (1A) for transfer to the opposite semicircle of needles (1B); a half ring (9), external to the needle (1A, 1B) cylinder, is hinged at both its ends about a diametrical axis (X--X) in the working area of the needles and in such a way that it can rotate through 180.degree.; sliding in radial slots in the half ring are pick-up hooks (10) with closing sliders (12-12A) for engaging the initial loops of toe fabric formed by said needles (1A), which loops are transferred from hooks (7A); by rotating upwards, the half-ring (9) transfers these loops and brings them down over the needles (1B) of the opposite semicircle, so that the toe (P) fabric is engaged by said needles (1B) of the opposite semicircle.
Abstract: An overvoltage protective module comprising a base body made of plastic with embedded contact strips, overvoltage suppressers arranged on the top of the base body and provided with fuse elements, and contact springs which hold the overvoltage suppressers and the fuse elements on the base body and are used to make contact with the contact strips when a fuse element softens in response to an overvoltage. In order to simplify the structure of such an overvoltage protective module, the contact springs (5) are formed on a spring comb (7) which can be clamped onto the top (6) of the base body (1) and whose web (8) which holds the contact springs (5) has at least one spring contact (9) for making contact with a ground conductor (10).
Abstract: A measuring device for determining the concentration of gases with two identical radiation sources and two radiation detectors, which delivers stable measured values despite the contamination that occurs or the shielding from radiation of the outer optical surfaces exposed to the gases or to mixtures of gases and despite possible mechanical disadjustments. The two radiation detectors are provided with an optical concentrator each for bundling the radiation, and being arranged in a gas-tight housing together with the two identical radiation sources and with a beam splitter. One radiation source is directed through a window that is transparent to infrared light to a plane mirror outside the gas-tight housing, and the beam path reflected by the plane mirror falls through the window that is transparent to infrared light onto the beam splitter.
Abstract: A power regulating system make it possible to switch on a plurality of power stages with different air flow rates and different fuel flow rates on the burner of the heater. In addition, noise level is optimized, since the blower that maintains the air flow rate turns with a constant output and only the fuel flow rate is modified to regulate the heating power.

The ultrasonic atomizer is in a gas flow connection with the atomizer chamber to which an aerosol is admitted by a piezo vibrating element for the inhalation via a nonreturn valve. The arrangement bridges over the atomizer chamber for the exhalation via a second nonreturn valve by means of a second, spatially separated gas flow path.
Abstract: The invention relates to a management-capable splice cassette for the telecommunication and data technique, for receiving carrier shells for two glass fibers each. A housing is provided with a cable connection device and a carrier is connected to said housing. The carrier shells are connected to the carrier in a rotatable manner. The management-capable splice cassette is exchangeable with other splice cassettes and can in particular be inserted in prior art splice cassette housings instead of the conventional splice cassettes. The invention provides an available reserve length and a small constructional height as well as an economical and simple handling. The carrier shells are disposed in at least two adjacent receiving portions and stacked upon each other, each of carrier shells is rotatably supported into a latch position at one of their sides.

Abstract: An optical modulator for duobinary modulation is based on a Mach-Zehnder interferometer but has parallel optical waveguides of a greater length than normally is employed with an optical modulator. A pair of similar electrode structures are arranged in series on the waveguides, the electrodes of the two structures being separately addressable by binary electrical signals. The phase shifts induced in the light propagating along the parallel waveguides by voltages applied to the separate electrode structures allows the output to take values of 0, 1 or 2 for binary inputs applied to the structures.
