Abstract: The present invention relates to a two-way rotary multi-function polisher, which comprises an input shaft driven to rotate by a power resource, a first spur gear and a second spur gear engagably transmitted by the end of input shaft; wherein the first spur gear is in response to the second spur gear and fixed to an output shaft having an inner polishing disc at the end thereof, so as to rotate the inner polishing disc in the first direction, while the second spur gear is coupled to a sleeve having an outer polishing disc at the end thereof and disposed to the exterior of output shaft by a bearing, so as to rotate the outer polishing disc in the second direction; hence, while the input shaft rotating, the inner and the outer polishing disc can respectively rotate in the opposite direction, enabling the two-way polishing and grinding to be achieved.
Abstract: A massaging machine is provided with a massaging mechanism comprising a displacement device, a rubbing device, a pounding device, and an angle-adjusting device. The rubbing device and the pounding device are provided with a shaft driven by a motor. The shaft of the rubbing device is provided at two ends with a plurality of rubbing rollers. The displacement device comprises a shaft, and a worm wheel set driven by a motor to actuate the shaft which is linked with a transmission device to enable the massaging mechanism to engage in a linear motion on a machine frame of the massaging machine. As the body of a person comes in contact with the rubbing rollers, the massaging mechanism is securely located in place, thanks to the self-locking action of a worm wheel set of the displacement device.
Abstract: A tool comprises a surface area, the area being printed in one of two different first colors for identifying the tool as one labeled in either the British system or the metric system, and a numeral as a representation of a size of the tool disposed in the area, the numeral having a second color different from the first color of the area for providing a contrast of the numeral to other portions of both the area and the tool. The correct size of the tool thus can be quickly identified. Moreover, a number of embodiments are made possible.
Abstract: Provided is a screwdriver comprising a pivotal removable revolving cylinder containing screwdriver tips a pivot bucket with the revolving cylinder disposed therein, and a flexible limiting member fastened at either cut on the shank of a handle for fastening the handle in its operation or storage position. In a revolving cylinder replacement operation pull the handle rearward to disengage the shank with the revolving cylinder, pull the pivot bucket upward by pivoting until it is disposed externally of a slot in a body, remove a pivot pin for replacing the revolving cylinder, mount the revolving cylinder in the pivot bucket, and pivot the pivot bucket downward to dispose in the slot again.
Abstract: Disclosed is a device disposed in one of a plurality of holes on a body of a surfboard for fixing one of a plurality of fins therein, each fin including an elongated tab extended downwardly, horizontally from a base thereof, the tab including a plurality of spaced protrusions on its either side. The device comprises a central, lengthwise slot including a plurality of spaced projections on its either side above its bottom, wherein responsive to inserting the tab into the slot, the tab is adapted to move rearward by snappingly pushing until the tab is stopped by a rear end of the slot with upper surfaces of the protrusions engaged with lower surfaces of the projections. Either assembly of the fins without sacrificing its fastening or disassembly thereof can be made easy.
Abstract: A seat elevating mechanism for chair particularly designed for old men and patients having weak legs mainly includes a seat that can be elevated or lowered using a power-actuated telescopic lifter. The seat is maintained in a horizontal position while being elevated or lowered, so that a user may stably sit thereon until the seat is fully elevated or lowered to enable the user to get up or sit down effortlessly.
Abstract: A stand-up bedside hoisting apparatus includes a base; three legs fixedly connected an inner ends to the base to stably support the entire hoisting apparatus; a pivoted-arm mechanism including a lower rotary shaft that is rotatable relative to the base within a safe angular range, and an upper suspension arm that can be turned up and down relative to the rotary shaft; and a hanger pivotally connected to a front end of the suspension arm for holding a hoisting carriage to carry and move a patient. The hoisting apparatus may be easily and conveniently erected to stand up at one side of a sickbed without the need of being fixedly mounted to a wall or floor, and could therefore be moved for use at any place as necessary.
Abstract: A wrench comprises a ratchet device in a ratchet box portion and including a downward bar, a lateral recess having first and second walls, and a bore in communication with the recess; a rotating disc including a shaft extended into the bore, and an actuation member on one side of the shaft; and a locking member in the recess and including an outer ratchet adapted to engage with the ratchet of the handle, an inner groove for receiving and being engaged with the actuation member in the recess, and third and fourth walls at both sides of the groove, either the third or fourth wall being adapted to contact the first or second wall when the locking member pivots to one of left and right positions in the ratchet device. Rotating the rotating disc opposite to the rotation of the handle will switch a direction of exerted force.
Abstract: A laser assisted machining method and device comprise a tool mount on which a laser head is disposed. A digital thermometer is disposed in a machining tool or on the tool mount for feeding data to a system controller. A laser is used to enable the blade of the machining tool to heat and soften a workpiece instantaneously. As the machining process is in progress, the chip is rapidly removed. The temperature of the tool tip is monitored by the digital thermometer for automatic control of the temperature of heating the workpiece by the laser, thereby keeping the temperature of the tool tip in a specific allowable range. The efficiency of the machining process and the surface precision are thus enhanced.

Abstract: Disclosed is a torque wrench comprising a signal generator including a spring biased against a trigger member, a sensor, and a disc biased between the spring and the sensor, a setting assembly including a cylindrical member for receiving the disc and the sensor, a cap, a knob through the cap to threadably couple to the cylindrical member, and a sliding pin inserted through a groove on a handle into the cylindrical member for coupling, and a numeric display mounted around the handle. A maximum torque of the wrench can be preset by rotating the knob and shown on the display. Also, an amount of torque being exerted by wrench can be shown on the display. The wrench may trip when the amount of torque has reached the preset maximum torque.

Abstract: Provided is a grinding machine comprising a carrier adapted to raise or lower, the carrier including a V-shaped groove across its top and a forward pad at either side, a spindle unit including an inverted L-shaped mounting plate, and a fine tilting adjustment mechanism comprising first, second, third, and fourth screw type fastening units for fastening horizontal and vertical portion of the mounting plate at the carrier. Each screw of the fastening units is spaced from the carrier by a peripheral gap. The gaps are adapted to allow the horizontal or vertical portion of the mounting plate and thus the spindle unit to either tilt to the left or right or tilt to the front or rear with respect to the carrier in response to unfastening the screws and loosening adjustment screws of the fastening units.

Abstract: A connecting structure for sectional rack includes a plurality of vertical posts, horizontal shelves, and connecting members. Each of the vertical posts is provided with at least one row of engaging holes, with which upper and lower hooks at an end of each connecting member are engaged. A pad is attached to each connecting member, so that a first side of the pad fitly bears against the vertical post. A second side of the pad opposite to the first side is a downward and outward inclined surface. Each of the horizontal shelves has an outer cover provided at each corner thereof for putting on the connecting member, so that an internal inclined surface of the outer cover pushes the inclined surface of the pad against the vertical post to enable a firm connection of the shelf, the connecting member, and the vertical post to one another.
Abstract: A mechanism for changing direction of exerted force of wrench having a ratchet wheel is disclosed. In an enclosed box portion of the wrench there are provided an opening, a C-shaped seat on a bottom of the opening, the C-shaped seat having a C-shaped groove, a ratchet wheel disposed in the opening, a pawl in a first cavity, an upright swing assembly in a second cavity, and a ring for retaining the ratchet wheel in place. Counterclockwise turning the swing assembly will bias one steel ball against the pawl for engaging the pawl with the ratchet wheel, thereby causing the wrench to exert force toward a direction. Alternatively, a clockwise turning of the swing assembly will cause the wrench to exert force toward a reverse direction. Further, clockwise turning the wrench will cause the ratchet wheel to be inoperative, thereby adjusting an angle of the exerted force.
Abstract: An emergency switch comprises a base on which an electrical circuit switch, and an indicator pin are mounted. An activation body is provided with an activation projection and a torsion spring and is movably mounted on the indicator pin. A trigger button is provided with a through hole and is fastened with a top end of the activation body. When the trigger button is triggered, the activation body is forced to move downwards along the indicator pin, so as to cause the activation projection to turn off the electrical circuit switch. A top end of the indicator pin is jutted out of the through hole of the trigger button to indicate that the emergency switch is in the state of activation.
Abstract: A revolving screwdriver comprises a forward ratchet device comprising a hollow, cylindrical seat and a ratchet shaft, and a hollow handle comprising a revolving cylinder including a plurality of axial, peripheral shank cartridges, and a push rod adapted to push the shank out of the cartridge into the ratchet shaft. The ratchet shaft is hollow and comprises a front end having a section of hexagon, a rear end having a section of circle, and a guide in the rear end thereof. The guide is aligned with a flat extended inwardly from the front end of the ratchet shaft such that it can automatically align one shank pushed out of the ratchet cylinder with the forward end of the ratchet shaft prior to pushing the shank out of the ratchet shaft for use.
Abstract: An electronic dartboard comprises a dartboard frame in which a plurality of dartboard blocks are disposed. The dartboard blocks are formed of a dartboard body and a mounting seat in which the dartboard body is movably disposed. The dartboard frame is mounted in an outer frame which is provided with a score board and a circuit board. The dartboard frame is provided in the front with a plurality of protective frames, and in the back with an induction circuit film set. A cover plate is provided with a plurality of silencing holes and is fastened with the outer frame. A score display is separably connected to the circuit board.
Abstract: A door hinge is adapted to connect a door to a vertical metal post of a sectional rack, so that an enclosed storage space may be provided on the sectional rack. The door hinge includes a fixing member for connecting to the door, a hanger for hooking to the vertical post, an adjusting member connected to the hanger, and a turning member, a spring leaf, and a torsion spring mounted between the adjusting member and the fixing member. A cushion pad is positioned between the hanger and the post and forced against the post by a tightening screw, so that two hooks provided on the hanger may be tightly engaged with hook eyes provided on the post. The door connected to the fixing member may therefore be pivotally connected to the vertical post.
Abstract: A drawer rail structure includes two guide rails mounted to a piece of furniture, and two slide rails mounted to a drawer. Each of the guide rails is provided at a front end with a first roller, and each of the slide rails at a rear end with a second roller and at an upper edge with an inward stop plate. The stop plates press against tops of the first rollers when the second rollers rotate along the guide rails, guiding the drawer to slide in correct directions. An adjusting screw is provided at an outer end of each stop plate, and a spring plate is located below the adjusting screw to press against the top of the first roller. When the adjusting screw is turned to push the spring plate to a different height, a front panel of the drawer may be adjusted to a different vertical position.
