Abstract: Novel and useful quantum structures that provide various control functions. Particles are brought into close proximity to interact with one another and exchange information. After entanglement, the particles are moved away from each other but they still carry the information contained initially. Measurement and detection are performed on the particles from the entangled ensemble to determine whether the particle is present or not in a given qdot. A quantum interaction gate is a circuit or structure operating on a relatively small number of qubits. Quantum interaction gates implement several quantum functions including a controlled NOT gate, quantum annealing gate, controlled SWAP gate, a controlled Pauli rotation gate, and ancillary gate. These quantum interaction gates can have numerous shapes including double V shape, H shape, X shape, L shape, I shape, etc.

Abstract: A support for a piece of seating furniture provides an additional degree of freedom of movement. The support has a connecting unit fitted on a main body that connects to a supporting element of an underframe. The connecting unit has a mounting device for the supporting element, in particular a mount for the upper end of the supporting element. The connecting unit is fitted on the main body such that it is possible to alter the inclination of the main body relative to the supporting element. For that purpose the main body has a preferably convex contact base, which in the fitted state is contacted by a contact head of the connecting unit, with the abutment forming a non-planar contact rather than a contact over a surface area, in particular a punctiform contact.
Abstract: A wireless peripheral mode is provided by a host system that communicates to a WiFi infrastructure and, utilizing the same WiFi RF subsystem, also communicates to peripherals. Abstract: Performance issues in a service function chain having a plurality of resources and a plurality of network functions each having a network function queue are diagnosed. Each network function queue is monitored and queueing information for input packets for each of the plurality of network functions is dumped to a data store. Each resource that is under contention is identified as well as which of the network functions is a contender for the resources. A diagnosing algorithm is used to diagnose performance problems and an impact graph for each victim packet is generated. A summary of results as a list of rules is then provided.
