Abstract: A contact center system features: testing comprehension of informational messages with a quiz; capturing insight of users having a KPI score above a threshold by having them describe why they perform so well; dynamically ordering issue solutions by re-ranking the solutions periodically based on recency and frequency; integrating information used by a contact center representative while online with a customer and information for use when not online; storing content in a telecommunications industry taxonomy; directing feedback on a content item to the proper owner/manager of that content; communicating solution information using a solutions taxonomy; displaying a dual information system having a CRM application and reference material that is context-appropriate; enforcing completion of templates when creating a content item to be published; ensuring a group of templates are complete before publishing them; and searching within a contact center system portal using a continuum of search functions.

Abstract: A multivariate business process modeling or management (BPM) optimization system and method for optimizing a BPM system includes a logic layer to control operation of the BPM system, a utility layer to implement a randomized experimental treatment based on a hypothesis, and a persistence layer to collect data from application of the randomized experimental treatment to the BPM system. The multivariate BPM optimization system and method optimizes the BPM system by computerized testing of the hypothesis and generation of results to add, remove or modify a step or modify a point in a flow of the BPM system based on the data collected from application of the randomized experimental treatment.

Abstract: When redacting natural language text, a classifier is used to provide a sensitive concept model according to features in natural language text and in which the various classes employed are sensitive concepts reflected in the natural language text. Similarly, the classifier is used to provide an utility concepts model based on utility concepts. Based on these models, and for one or more identified sensitive concept and identified utility concept, at least one feature in the natural language text is identified that implicates the at least one identified sensitive topic more than the at least one identified utility concept. At least some of the features thus identified may be perturbed such that the modified natural language text may be provided as at least one redacted document. In this manner, features are perturbed to maximize classification error for sensitive concepts while simultaneously minimizing classification error in the utility concepts.

Abstract: A computerized system to determine estimations for analytics capabilities includes a value driver determination module to determine key value drivers associated with the entity. The system also includes an analytics matching module to identify analytics capabilities that align to the key value drivers. An analytics valuation module estimates values for the matching analytics capabilities based on benchmarks and financial and operational data for the entity. A cost and capital determination module estimates costs and capital for implementing the matching analytics capabilities, and an analytics selector module determines benefits for the matching analytics capabilities based on the estimated values and the costs and the capital.

Abstract: A system for processing a call from a subscriber in a telecommunication network includes a service-oriented architecture-based orchestrator configured to communicate with legacy communication platforms and next-generation communication platforms, and to an application layer or intelligent network (IN) portion of the telecommunication network. The orchestrator is configured to receive a multi-part service request corresponding to the call from the subscriber, where the multi-part service request includes multiple individual service requests. A service database is configured to provide an identity and network location of multiple control points (service control points, telco control points), where each control point corresponds to an individual service request. Protocol adapters provide a communication interface with each control point, and with the core network.

Abstract: An expression editor tool allows a user to build an expression or calculation with a rule that specifies an action programmed to occur during execution of a target application. The expression editor tool allows a user to define an action point definition that specifies an action point located in the target application logic instructions. The expression editor tool determines from the action point definition a dataset that is in-context at the action point, provides an expression definition interface to obtain selected data fields from the dataset, and a selected logical operator to connect the selected data fields used to construct a new expression. The expression editor tool provides an outcome selection interface used to obtain a selected outcome for the new expression in order to create a rule including the new expression and the selected outcome, and store the rule in the database linked to the action point definition.

Abstract: A system, method and article of manufacture are provided for a first business entity to provide a network-based supply chain framework for collaborative order management between at least a second and a third independent business entity, such as a service provider, vendor, reseller, manufacturer and the like. A request for an order is received over a network with an automated system, from at least a second business entity. The order is transmitted over a network, with an automated system, to at least the third business entity. Information is received from the third business entity relating to a status of completion of the order by the third business entity using a network. The progress in completing the order is tracked based on the information received from the third business entity. Progress reports from the tracking are generated periodically; and transmitted to the second business entity using the network.

Abstract: An account management system has been developed that enables customer or client-related information to be stored, viewed and manipulated in a manner that reflects the relationship among different customers. The account management system includes an account data structure that defines accounts and relates customers to accounts so that the accounts include a group of related customers. In addition, a method of managing an underwriting account for an insurance policy has been developed. In particular, a method comprises the steps of establishing a plurality of participants; assigning each participant of the plurality of participants to an account; establishing business rules at an account level; and providing an underwriting decision for an account based upon the business rules.

Abstract: A document analysis, commenting, and reporting system provides tools that automate quality assurance analysis tailored to specific document types. As one example, the specific document type may be a requirements specification and the system may tag different parts of requirements, including actors, entities, modes, and a remainder. The system also includes tools for visualizing the relationships between entities in a requirements specification and for identifying whether the requirements specification provides for attributes specified by a non-functional attribute glossary. The system facilitates the visualization of interactions of individual entities, of a system of entities, or entities identified for a specific use. The different types of visualizations distinguish between interacting and non-interacting entities, and highlight where a set of requirements may be deficient with respect to the non-interacting entities.

Abstract: A method for providing a financial evaluation of at least one financial instrument or of an issuer supports the provision of a dynamic credit limit. A dynamic credit limit may be associated with a counterparty or a debt security of the counterparty, for example. The method includes obtaining counterparty credit quality data associated with a transaction of the financial instrument between a party and a counterparty. Debt market data is obtained where the debt market data is associated with or relevant to the transaction. A dynamic credit limit is determined for the counterparty or a financial instrument of the counterparty based on at least one of the inputted counterparty credit quality and the obtained debt market data. The dynamic credit limit may be defined in terms of a credit exposure versus time.

The license plate data for the first vehicle is compared with the license plate data for vehicles in the set of records. Based on the results of the comparison of the license plate data, a set of vehicles is identified from the vehicles having records in the set of records. Vehicle fingerprint data is accessed for the first vehicle. The vehicle fingerprint data for the first vehicle is based on the image data for the first vehicle. Vehicle fingerprint data for a vehicle in the set of vehicles is accessed. Using a processing device, the vehicle fingerprint data for the first vehicle is compared with the vehicle fingerprint data for the vehicle in the set of vehicles.

In one implementation the method and system may include providing information, such as financial, marketing, and internal information, related to a business organization; determining from the information whether the business organization has had a performance trigger; adding the business organization to a list of transformation candidates if the determination identifies the business organization as having had a performance trigger; and displaying on a display device whether the business organization is a candidate for transformation.

Abstract: A computer network for managing session tokens may include a client operable to run a client application; a web server hosting at least one web service; and a session token manager. The session token manager may be operable to receive a check out message along with user credentials from the client application, wherein the user credentials identify a user operating the client application; process the check out message to determine a session token from a pool of session tokens managed for the user; and send a token identifier (token ID) to the client application pointing to the determined session token, wherein the session token can be used by the client application to point to and/or to re-use a previously established session with the web service without re-establishing a new session.

A class-similarity determination module may compare the source and target category hierarchy trees. An alignment module may determine whether the source and target classes are aligned based on the comparison of the source and target category hierarchy trees.

Abstract: A page design system addresses the need to impart flexibility into the design and customization of graphical user interfaces for applications. The graphical user interface includes pages and display groups within each page, and the page design system permits each individual page to be modified to suit the needs of a particular customer. So that the pages do not depart from their fundamental purpose to too great of an extent, the page design system guides and constrains the modifications to each page. In particular, the page design system constrains customization of each display group according to established definitions of admissible graphical user interface elements that are appropriate for each page, and each display group of elements within the page.
