The entered or selected attribute data is arranged into a data structure (e.g., a file) for transmission over a communications network. The data structure is transmitted over the communications network to a directory interface. The transmitted data structure is processed to be compatible with interpretation by a directory services system. The directory services system is invoked consistent with the contents of the data structure (e.g., the file) and the previous processing of the data structure. Resources (e.g., applications) that are under the control of the directory services are managed consistent with the contents of the data structure.

Abstract: A messaging and alerting service is described. An implementation includes enrolling a customer in the messaging and alert service, storing a list of businesses selected by the customer, storing a customer contact hierarchy list, and contacting the customer according to the contact hierarchy list. The messaging and alerting service enables real-time, interactive alerts to be delivered to customers in the customer's preferred media. In addition, customers may respond to the alerts to provide important directions to a business.

The method including entering via an input device information regarding the individual into a database that: 1) identifies each direct task worked on by the individual during a session of work, 2) direct time applied to each of the identified direct tasks during the session of work, and 3) a number of units processed or completed for each of the identified direct tasks corresponding to each of the applied direct times. The method further including displaying on a display information regarding productivity and utilization for the individual based on the direct tasks, the direct times and the number of units that are present in the database.

Abstract: A demand side management (DSM) portfolio manager system for processing DSM data to implement DSM programs for an energy service provider includes a DSM workflow management module. The DSM workflow management module may determine a workflow plan for processing the DSM data throughout phases of a DSM portfolio lifecycle to create and evaluate the DSM programs for the energy service provider. The system includes a DSM evaluation, measurement and verification module to evaluate the DSM programs. The evaluation may include determining key performance indicators for the DSM programs based on the DSM data and comparing the DSM programs to benchmarks and analyzing the DSM data for the DSM programs utilizing performance-based analytics to predict future performance of the DSM programs. A DSM reporting module may report results of the evaluation in a dashboard.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method identifies textual statement relationships. Textual statement pairs including a first and second textual statement are identified, and parsed word group pairs are extracted from first and second textual statements. The parsed word groups are compared, and a parsed word score for each statement pair is calculated. Word vectors for the first and second textual statements are created and compared. A word vector score is calculated based on the comparison of the word vectors for the first and second textual statements. A match score is determined for the textual statement pair, with the match score being representative of at least one of the parsed word score and the word vector score.

Abstract: A method and system for documenting processes and controls of an organization involve storing information describing the processes of the organization in a database and then accessing the database with a suitable user interface application. Preferably the user interface application is a web browser and the data in the database is provided to users as a series of web pages. Using the user interface application, users can review the documented processes, report errors, request changes, generate reports, and so forth. Users with suitable access privileges can modify the data in the database using the user interface application. An external auditor can audit the processes and controls of the organization from his own office by accessing the database over a network such as the Internet.

The server computer is configured to generate a user interactive interface that interactively displays at least one of the plurality of levels reflecting information related to a policy, the claim, claimants and an insured person in a structured format to a plurality of users, and to allow each of the users to simultaneously interact with one of the plurality of levels to retrieve and enter data for the same insurance claim.

Abstract: A system and method enable rapid knowledge transfer, for example between a plurality of experts and a plurality of apprentices located remotely from the experts. The system makes use of unique tools to facilitate transfer of knowledge and collaboration between individuals, even among remotely located individuals. An input to the system is a Knowledge Transfer Plan which has been designed to orchestrate the knowledge transfer. The knowledge transfer system integrates a shared repository and collaboration tools for use by the expert and apprentice. The collaboration tools may be accessed through role-specific portals which are automatically created from the Knowledge Transfer Plan. Abstract: Performance of statistical machine learning techniques, particularly classification techniques applied to the extraction of attributes and values concerning products, is improved by preprocessing a body of text to be analyzed to remove extraneous information. The body of text is split into a plurality of segments. In an embodiment, sentence identification criteria are applied to identify sentences as the plurality of segments. Thereafter, the plurality of segments are clustered to provide a plurality of clusters. One or more of the resulting clusters are then analyzed to identify segments having low relevance to their respective clusters. Such low relevance segments are then removed from their respective clusters and, consequently, from the body of text. As the resulting relevance-filtered body of text no longer includes portions of the body of text containing mostly extraneous information, the reliability of any subsequent statistical machine learning techniques may be improved.
