The technique includes obtaining one or more samples for a pixel, the samples obtained for a microfacet surface from a spherical cap cut off by a lower plane positioned to exclude reflected rays that are occluded by the microfacet surface; obtaining one or more contributions corresponding to the one or more samples; determining a color for the pixel based on the one or more contributions.
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a device and method for growing a crystal. A crystal preparation device includes a growth chamber, a heating component, and a filter component. The heating component includes at least one heating unit. The at least one heating unit is located in the growth chamber. The at least one heating unit is an inverted cone structure. An angle between a side surface of the inverted cone structure and an upper surface of the inverted cone structure is within a range of 5°-45°. The filter component is located in the growth chamber. An inner sidewall of the filter component is connected with the at least one heating unit. A gas phase channel is formed between an outer sidewall of the filter component and an inner sidewall of the growth chamber.
Abstract: The present invention provides an iron-based amorphous/nanocrystalline alloy as shown in formula Fe(100-a-b-c-d-e)BaSibPcCdCue, wherein d+(b/c)=0.85-1.3, and a viscosity coefficient n is (3.0-8.0)*10?3 Pa/s. The present application further provides a preparation method for the iron-based amorphous/nanocrystalline alloy. According to the present application, the dynamic viscosity coefficient n is regulated by means of a change in the content of the elements in the alloy, such that the control range of viscosity of molten steel is ensured, the molten steel has higher purity, and the continuity of casting and the surface quality of a strip are guaranteed.

Abstract: A system and method for a stent delivery system, the delivery system having a catheter and a balloon coupled to a distal portion of the catheter. The catheter with the radially expandable member is inserted into a cavity in a mold. Heat and pressure are applied for a period of time which inflates the balloon and imparts a shape memory to a portion of the balloon. The balloon is removed from the cavity of the mold with a shape memory.
Abstract: A system and a method for obfuscating a mobile device's location are provided. For privacy or security reasons, the user of a mobile device may desire to prevent the mobile device from reporting the mobile device's true location. To prevent a mobile device from determining its location accurately, an RF enclosure encapsulates the mobile device and prevents the mobile device from receiving RF signals from sources outside of the enclosure. Within the enclosure, antenna modules broadcast RF signals, such as cellular-network signals, Wi-Fi signals, Bluetooth signals, or GPS signals, that contain information associated with a user-selected target location. The mobile device receives the RF signals from the antenna modules and determines that it is located at the target location rather than the true location.

Abstract: One or more components of a computing device are run by default in a boost mode state. The one or more components continue to run in the boost mode state until the boost mode state is no longer sustainable, e.g., due to power consumption of the one or more components or temperature of the one or more components. Abstract: A multilayer interconnect structure is formed by, providing a substrate having thereon a first dielectric for supporting a multi-layer interconnection having lower conductor MN, upper conductor MN+1, dielectric interlayer (DIL) and interconnecting via conductor VN+1/N. The lower conductor MN has a first upper surface located in a recess below a second upper surface of the first dielectric. The DIL is formed above the first and second surfaces. A cavity is etched through the DIL from a desired location of the upper conductor MN+1, exposing the first surface. The cavity is filled with a further electrical conductor to form the upper conductor MN+1 and the connecting via conductor VN+1/N making electrical contact with the first upper surface. A critical dimension between others of lower conductors MN and the via conductor VN+1/N is lengthened. Leakage current and electro-migration therebetween are reduced.
