Patent number: 4481530Abstract: A color filtering device for a charge-coupled photoelectric converting device including a series of uniformly configured photoelectric converting elements which are sensitized by the filtering arrangement in the order of green, blue, green and red. The filtering arrangement includes a transparent filter carrier supporting a series of green, blue, green, red, blue, green, and so on, filtering elements. The active surface of each blue filtering element is equal to the active surface of the assigned photoelectric converting element. The green and red filtering elements are reduced in size in inverse proportion to the spectral sensitivity of the assigned photoelectric converting element. The resulting spacings between the elements are covered by an opaque masking layer, preferably of chromium.Type: GrantFiled: May 19, 1982Date of Patent: November 6, 1984Assignee: Agfa-Gevaert AktiengesellschaftInventors: Eduard Wagensonner, Ulrich Krekeler, Wolfgang Ruf

Patent number: 4480901Abstract: A developing apparatus for photosensitive material has a processing bath and a conveying system for advancing photosensitive material through the path. A supply vessel accommodates a regenerating solution for the bath and a flow regulating device such as a pump or a valve is provided to regulate the admission of the regenerating solution into the bath. A sensing system senses the surface area of the photosensitive material advanced into the bath and supplies this information to a computer which then calculates the quantity of regenerating solution to be supplied to the bath. The control unit operates the flow regulating device at intervals in order to deliver the calculated quantity of regenerating solution to the bath. A measuring unit connected with the computer measures the actual quantity of regenerating solution supplied to the bath during operation of the flow regulating device.Type: GrantFiled: September 21, 1982Date of Patent: November 6, 1984Assignee: Agfa-Gevaert AktiengesellschaftInventors: Viktor Osegowitsch, Jurgen Leuchter

Patent number: 4480907Abstract: An apparatus is described for the liquid processing of a surface of a moving sheet, web or plate. Processing liquid is supplied to the surface via a plurality of elongated discharge orifices extending across the width of said moving sheet or web in an oblique angle with respect to the direction in which said sheet, web or plate is advanced within said apparatus. By the oblique arrangement of the discharge orifices air bubbles entrapped in the processing liquid as a result of pumping can be carried off and processing faults reduced.Type: GrantFiled: January 24, 1983Date of Patent: November 6, 1984Assignee: AGFA-GEVAERT N.V.Inventor: Leo N. Patent number: 4479232Abstract: A cassette or an analogous support for sheet-like X-ray film has a bottom wall and a top wall which latter is connected to the bottom wall by a hinge. One of the walls carries a magnetic plate which is overlapped by a first intensifier screen for the X-ray film. The other wall carries a flat flexible receptacle for a ferromagnetic layer therewithin, and the receptacle is overlapped by a second intensifier screen. When a film is inserted between the two screens, the cassette is closed whereby the magnetic layer attracts the ferromagnetic layer with the result that the two screens are biased against the respective sides of the film therebetween. The second screen may constitute an integral part of the receptacle which latter consists of a material, such as paper or synthetic plastic, that is permeable to X-rays.Type: GrantFiled: April 11, 1983Date of Patent: October 23, 1984Assignee: AGFA-Gevaert AktiengesellschaftInventor: Walter Bauer

Patent number: 4469291Abstract: A copying machine admits a web of freshly exposed photographic paper directly into a cassette whose core engages and convolutes the web therearound. The progress of engagement between the leader of the web and the core is monitored by comparing the peripheral speed of the core with the peripheral speed of a rotor forming part of an advancing roll for the web and receiving torque from a variable-speed motor which also drives the core. The peripheral speed of the rotor increases when the leader of the web is adequately attached to the core, and this is detected by a circuit having first and second photoelectronic monitoring devices which respectively monitor the peripheral speeds of the rotor and the core.Type: GrantFiled: September 14, 1982Date of Patent: September 4, 1984Assignee: Agfa-Gevaert AktiengesellschaftInventors: Helmut Treiber, Christian Gotze, Gunter Lammel, Erich Nagel

Patent number: 4466718Abstract: When a trigger lever is depressed, both a focus adjuster ring and a control disk commence to rotate in unison, driven by a spring mechanism. Position-sensing switches receive signals indicating which subject-distance setting the focus adjuster ring should be arrested at, and furthermore are opened and closed by the control disk during movement of the latter. When the focus adjuster ring reaches the required subject distance setting, it is arrested and kept arrested, thereby completing an automatic focussing operation, but the control disk continues to turn on to its end position, at which it causes the shutter mechanism of the camera to open and furthermore the exposure-timing circuit of the camera to initiation a scene-light-dependent exposure-timing operation.Type: GrantFiled: November 12, 1980Date of Patent: August 21, 1984Assignee: Agfa-Gevaert AGInventors: Peter Lermann, Istvan Cocron, Gunter Fauth

Patent number: 4466579Abstract: A cassette for winding and unwinding rolls of photographic paper has a rotatable shaft which traverses the cassette. A spool for supporting a roll of photographic paper is mounted on and circumscribes the shaft. The shaft is supported by a pair of opposite sidewalls of the cassette. Bearing rings are mounted in each of the sidewalls and the shaft carries a pair of bearing disks which respectively mate with the bearing rings. The bearing rings and disks are designed such that they form a braking system for the shaft. An overrunning clutch is arranged between the shaft and each of the bearing disks. The overrunning clutches are oriented so that the shaft rotates freely when photographic paper is being wound onto the spool. During unwinding of photographic paper from the spool, the clutches engage and the braking system for the shaft becomes operative.Type: GrantFiled: September 15, 1982Date of Patent: August 21, 1984Assignee: Agfa-Gevaert AGInventors: Wilhelm Nitsch, Erich Nagel
