  • Publication number: 20080096421
Abstract: A connecting arrangement having a partition and a plurality of contact pins is disclosed. Each contact pin has two contact portions and a fastening portion electrically connecting the contact portions to each other, the contact portions each being arranged so as to be accessible from one side of the partition. The connecting arrangement also has a plurality of contact chambers into which the contact pins are arranged, a radially resilient sealing sleeve arranged in each contact chamber, and at least one seal. The seal is configured as a radially outwardly projecting circumferential annular web being arranged on the fastening portion of each contact pin and being sealingly pressed into the sealing sleeve.

  • Patent number: 7361038
Abstract: The invention relates to a Microswitch connector (11), having an insulating housing (13) with a contact chamber (31) with an insertion opening (15) and a contact switch spring (25) arranged in the contact chamber (31). The housing (13) has an electrically conductive stop (59) on a side of the contact chamber (31) remote from the insertion opening (15) for making a first external electrical connection. The contact switch spring (25) has a spring bend connecting a fixed leg (37) to a switch leg (39). The fixed leg (37) is fixed in the housing (13) outside the insertion path of the plug-in contact with a connection end (45) for making a second external electrical connection, and the switch leg (39) extends obliquely into the insertion path in the direction of the stop (59) and pivotal resiliently relative to the fixed leg (37) with a free end (57) pre-tensioned to rest against the stop (59).

  • Patent number: 7357681
Abstract: A board-mount electrical connector capable of maintaining favorable solderability of a connecting section of a terminal for a long term and preventing occurrence of a whisker in a bent section of the terminal is provided. The electrical connector includes a plurality of terminals each having at one end a contact section which contacts a mating contact and having, at the other end, a connecting section which connects to a circuit board. A bent section is located in a middle portion between the contact section and the connecting section. An insulating housing holds the plurality of terminals. On each terminal, a bright tin-plated layer and a semi-bright tin plated layer are formed on respective surfaces of the contact section and the connecting section leaving the surface of the middle portion unplated by tin such that the semi-bright tin-plated layer is thicker than the bright tin-plated layer.

  • Patent number: 7330008
Abstract: An apparatus for detecting a vehicle seat position is disclosed. The apparatus includes a hall sensor for detecting a target position according to a flux variation; a first power-supply unit for activating the hall sensor in an active period of a received drive-voltage pulse; and a second power-supply unit for providing an auxiliary power-supply signal to activate the hall sensor in an inactive period of the drive-voltage pulse. Therefore, the apparatus can effectively address two-pin hall sensor's problems caused by hysteresis characteristics.

  • Publication number: 20080012373
Abstract: A vehicle bed extender particularly adapted for ease of installation and removal. The extender includes a first side wall, a second side wall, a connecting wall, a first mount, a second mount, a first mounting station, and a second mounting station. The connecting wall, the first side wall, and the second side wall cooperate to form a generally U-shaped frame. The first mounting station and the second mounting station each comprise a stationary portion and a moveable portion configured such that the moveable portion, in a first position, cooperates with the stationary portion to engage the first mount or the second mount and to prevent disengagement. The moveable portion of the first mounting station and the second mounting station can be moved by a manual application of pressure to a second position which allows such disengagement.
