Abstract: An antenna having a ground plane having an edge and a first antenna element extending substantially parallel to the edge is disclosed. A ground element electrically connects the first antenna element with the ground plane. A second antenna element extends substantially parallel to the first antenna element and is disposed between the edge and the first antenna element and is connected at one end of the second antenna element to the first antenna element with the remaining end of the second antenna element located closer to the ground element. A third antenna element is disposed so that the first antenna element is between the second antenna element and the third antenna element and the third antenna element at extends substantially parallel to the first antenna element, with a rear end electrically connected with the first antenna element and a remaining end of the third antenna element is electrically open.
Abstract: A vehicle bed extender particularly adapted for ease of installation and removal. The extender includes a first side wall, a second side wall, a connecting wall, a first mount, a second mount, a first mounting station, and a second mounting station. The connecting wall, the first side wall, and the second side wall cooperate to form a generally U-shaped frame. The first mounting station and the second mounting station each comprise a stationary portion and a moveable portion configured such that the moveable portion, in a first position, cooperates with the stationary portion to engage the first mount or the second mount and to prevent disengagement. The moveable portion of the first mounting station and the second mounting station can be moved by a manual application of pressure to a second position which allows such disengagement.
Abstract: A connector assembly or interface cassette (300), comprising a housing (304) comprising a jack interface (314), said jack interface having a receptacle jack (370) therein, said receptacle jack being configured to receive a plug; and a sensor bezel (20) removably attachable to said jack interface, said sensor bezel comprising a cavity extending therethrough to allow passage of a plug when inserted into said receptacle jack, said sensor bezel including a circuit board proximate said jack cavity, and at least one sensor contact (340) aligned with, and configured to engage, a sensor probe associated with a plug insertable into said receptacle jack, characterised in that the bezel includes connection means (22) accessible from the front of the bezel whereby the bezel can be electrically connected to a sensing component independently of any components inside the said housing.

Abstract: An adapter channel mapping system for mapping channels of a network is provided. The system comprises a memory component operable to communicate with the network and having a first and a second memory portion, the first memory portion operable to communicate with a first physical channel of the network and the second memory portion operable to communicate with a second physical channel of the network and a mapping component operable to map, based on a first map, to the first and second memory portions based on a first configuration of the network and further operable to map, based on a second map, to the first and second memory portions based on a second configuration of the network. A method for testing networks employing 568A or 568B channel adapters is also provided. A method for selectively testing networks employing different channel adapters is also provided.
Abstract: An apparatus and method for increasing and regulating temperature, pressure and fluid viscosities of fluid streams found in oil and gas production. Applicant's apparatus regulates and increases fluid temperatures, by and through improved heating apparatus, which may be placed at one or more locations along a wellbore surface flow line, or subsea flow line. The apparatus preferably either heats fluids flowing from the reservoir to the surface, or alternatively, can heat fluids injected from the surface into the reservoir.

Abstract: A connector boot for a connector having a connector housing with a cantilevered lock tab protruding rearward from an upper surface of the connector housing, comprising a boot main body connected to a rear side of the connector housing, the boot main body comprising an activator that is pivotal about a hinge, wherein the activator comprises an upper activator tab for engaging the lock tab from above and the upper activator tab being configured for a push-down operation, and wherein the activator comprises a rear activator tab located opposite the upper activator tab so that the hinge is between the upper activator tab and the rear activator tab and the rear activator tab being configured for a push-up operation is disclosed.
Abstract: An electrical plug comprises first and second housings rotatable between an open position and a closed position. The first and second housings each have contact elements arranged therein. A cable end seating is arranged between the first and second housings. The cable end seating has a first surface facing the first housing and an opposing second surface facing the second housing. The first and second surfaces are each provided with at least one seating for receiving a conductor element of a cable to be connected to the plug. The contact elements electrically contact the conductor elements when the first and second housings are in the closed position.
