Abstract: A framework of abstraction of new and existing 5G radios can enhance capabilities of new and existing micro radios and other short range radio technologies to enable intelligent service delivery, dynamic access learning capability, and network slicing over 5G access networks. Enhancing layer communication for both control and user plane can be tunneled through the hosting layer and exploit a common transport provided by the hosting layer. The tunneling through the hosting layer can also enable the enhance capabilities to access the same radio management functions and can be orchestrated by the same core function.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to facilitating efficient access to electronic content via an intermediate caching layer between a client device and remote storage system. In particular, systems and methods disclosed herein generate and maintain a regional cache on a data center that includes a subset of digital content items from a collection of digital content items stored on the remote storage system. For example, in response to receiving a data request, the systems and methods disclosed herein determine whether a digital content item corresponding to the data request exists on an intermediate caching layer including both a local data center and one or more remote data centers. The systems and methods facilitate obtaining copies of requested digital content items from the regional caches when available, resulting in faster responses to data requests while decreasing a number of times a client directly accesses the remote storage system.

Abstract: A low voltage drive circuit includes a transmit analog to digital circuit that converts transmit digital data into analog outbound data by: generating a DC component; and generating an oscillating component at a first frequency that conveys the transmit digital data, wherein the magnitudes of both the oscillating component and the DC component are limited to a range that is less than a difference between the magnitudes of the power supply rails of the circuit, and wherein the oscillating component and the DC component are combined to produce the analog outbound data. A drive sense circuit drives an analog transmit signal onto a bus, wherein the analog outbound data is represented within the analog transmit signal as variances in loading of the bus at a first frequency and wherein analog inbound data is represented within an analog receive signal as variances in loading of the bus at a second frequency.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure concern methods of determining the effectiveness of immune cells, such as T cells, with particular chimeric antigen receptors. In specific embodiments, a synapse between the CAR and the tumor antigen is measured for structure, signaling, and functionality by imaging. As such, the quality of the synapse is determined and positively correlates with effectiveness of the particular CAR immune cells.
Abstract: The embodiments described herein relate to brewing and packaging beverage products. Potable water is processed to create brew water. The brew water is stored in an oxygen gas impermeable material. A product is milled in a mill comprised of an oxygen gas impermeable material. A first part of the brew water is heated, which includes heating the first part of the brew water to a first temperature. A primary brew is created by brewing the milled product with the heated brew water for a predetermined contact time. A secondary brew is created by transferring the primary brew to a second chamber comprised of an oxygen gas impermeable material, chilling a second part of the brew water, and combining the primary brew with chilled brew water. A final brew is created by filtering the secondary brew and cooling the filtered secondary brew. The final brew is packaged in a container comprised of an oxygen gas impermeable material.
Abstract: A paperboard, sidewall, and disposable cup made from about 70 wt % to about 100 wt % of recycled fiber. The paperboard can include about 70 wt % to about 100 wt % of recycled fiber, based on the total weight of the fiber. The paperboard can have a board thickness of about 14 mil to about 20 mil, an apparent density of less than about 11.5 lbs/3,000 ft2/mil, a CD Taber Stiffness of about 50 g*cm or more, and a MD/CD Taber Stiffness ratio of 1.0 to 3.0, and can be used to make recycled cups having sufficient strength and rigidity properties that rival cups made from virgin fibers.

Abstract: Methods, systems and computer-readable storage media for determining a new optimal read threshold voltage associated with a group of pages of non-volatile memory. It is determined whether the current optimal read threshold voltage associated with the group of pages is out of tolerance based at least in part on a retention drift history associated with the group of pages. Upon determining that the current optimal read threshold voltage is out of tolerance, reference cells associated with the group of pages are written with a pattern having a known statistical distribution of ones and zeroes. The new optimal read threshold voltage associated with the group of pages is determined by reading the reference cells, and the retention drift history associated with the group of pages is updated with the new optimal read threshold voltage and an indication of a new reference cell generation.
Abstract: Example methods, systems, and machine readable media are disclosed herein for determining a subject resonance measurement. An example method includes accessing first neuro-response data obtained from a subject prior to exposure to an advertisement or entertainment and second neuro-response data obtained from the subject after exposure to the advertisement or the entertainment, respectively. The example method includes calculating, using a processor, a first event related potential measurement and a second event related potential measurement based on the first neuro-response data and the second neuro-response data. The example method includes calculating, using the processor, a differential event related potential measurement based on the first event related potential measurement and the second event related potential measurement.

Abstract: An electronic device that dynamically adapts RTS-CTS protection is described. During operation, this electronic device may obtain communication parameters associated with communication in a WLAN, which includes the electronic device and a second electronic device. For example, the communication parameters may include a collision probability, a PPDU airtime, an RTS airtime, a SIFS airtime and/or a CTS airtime. Then, the electronic device may determine an RTS-CTS performance metric based at least in part on the communication parameters. For example, the RTS-CTS performance metric may be based at least in part on the collision probability, the RTS airtime, the SIFS airtime, and/or the CTS airtime. Next, the electronic device may compare the RTS-CTS performance metric and the PPDU airtime. Moreover, based at least in part on the comparison, the electronic device may selectively use RTS-CTS protection during communication of a PPDU with the second electronic device.
