Abstract: A network management service controls the flow of messages (e.g., management messages) with a credit-based system. The network management service may be a cloud-based network management service. A message credit quantity for a managed network device is calculated by the network management service based on multiple criteria. The message credit quantity is communicated to the managed network device. The managed network device limits its sending of management messages to the network management service based on its assigned quantity of message credits.
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing a program and method for displaying augmented reality content. The program and method provide for receiving, by a device, speech input to select augmented reality content for display; determining at least one keyword included in the speech input; identifying, from plural augmented reality content items, an augmented reality content item corresponding to the at least one keyword; and displaying the augmented reality content item with an image captured by a camera of the device.
Abstract: Described herein are systems, methods, and software to implement multi-level ransomware detection via file processing. In one example, a computing device conducts a first level of ransomware detection on a file, wherein the first level of ransomware detection comprises identifying features of the file that include a measure of randomness in the file. The computing device further inputs the features to a machine learning model that outputs a determination of whether the file has been attacked. The computing device further determines whether to conduct a second level of ransomware detection based on the determination.
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for direct current (DC) bus management. In some examples, an energy storage device may be controlled to balance the voltage of the DC bus to maintain a substantially constant voltage on the DC bus. In some examples, control circuitry may determine the total power produced and the total power consumed of the power system and control the energy storage device to balance the power. The energy storage device may balance the power while maintaining a substantially constant voltage on the DC bus. In some examples, a DC to alternating current (AC) converter may be connected between the DC bus and an AC bus, and/or an AC to DC converter may be connected between the AC bus and the DC bus. The DC to AC converter and the AC to DC converter may have different power ratings.

Abstract: A multitenant infrastructure server (MTIS) is configured to provide an environment to execute a computer routine of an arbitrary application. The MTIS receives a request from a webtask server to execute the computer routine in a webtask container. The computer routine is executed in the webtask container at the MTIS. Upon successful execution of the computer routine, a result set is returned to the webtask server. If the execution of the computer routine is unsuccessful, an error notification is returned to the webtask server. The resources consumed during the execution of the computer routine are determined. The webtask container is destroyed to prevent persistent storage of the computer routine on the MTIS.
Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed herein for the field of video compression. In examples, a video decoder or encoded may determine that a region dependence mode is enabled for a picture. The picture may include a number of regions. Based on the determination that the region dependence mode is enabled, for a block (e.g., a current block) in region of the number of regions, whether a neighboring block is available for intra prediction may be determined based on a location of the neighboring block relative to the region. The block (e.g., current block) may be decoded or encoded based on the determination of whether the neighboring block is available for intra prediction.

Abstract: Metal oxide films are reduced to metal with an atmospheric pressure argon and hydrogen plasma at temperatures between 25 and 250° C. A 40-nm-thick copper oxide layer on a copper-coated silicon wafer, 300 mm in diameter, can be fully removed by the argon and hydrogen plasma in under two minutes at 150° C. The fast rate of metal oxide reduction to metal demonstrates that this process is well suited for front- and back-end semiconductor manufacturing, such as for example, flux-free flip chip bonding of microbumps.

Abstract: A wireless communication network performs a wireless handover of a user device, and in response to the handover, transfers signaling to reestablish security context with the user device. The wireless communication network exchanges security information with the user device to reestablish the security context in response to the signaling. The wireless communication network wirelessly exchanges user data with the user device based on the security context.

Abstract: A multi-path charger having multiple controllable current sources connected in parallel, each current source is in series with its own current sensor, and both are dimensioned based on the maximum power and current divided by the number of the controlled current sources. The number of used current sources depends on the load. With a light load, only one current source is on while the rest is turned off. As the load increases, more current sources are switched on to supply power to the load. By that, the power efficiency and current measurement accuracy are significantly improved with a light load. Moreover, the multi-path charger can be used with multi-output with each output supplied by several parallel current sources.

At least part of the continuous layer of film material is adjacent, facing and unbonded to the outside surface of the front wall.
Abstract: Techniques are described for enabling a cloud-based IT and security operations application to execute playbooks containing custom code in a manner that mitigates types of risk related to the misuse of cloud-based resources and security of user data. Users use a client application to create and modify playbooks and, upon receiving input to save a playbook, the client application determines whether the playbook includes custom code. If the client application determines that the playbook includes custom code, the client application establishes a connection with a proxy application (also referred to as an “automation broker”) running in the user's own on-premises network and sends a representation of the playbook to the proxy application. The client application further sends to the IT and security operations application an identifier of the playbook and an indication that the playbook (or the custom code portions of the playbook) is stored within the user's on-premises network.
