Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of footrests for outdoor applications. The present invention is a footrest device for sitting on the ground. The footrest is comprised of an angled platform for resting feet in an inclined position. The footrest is comprised of edges with steps that prevent sliding. Further, the footrest are individual pieces so the left and right foot can be in the optimal position. The footrest incorporates tabs protruding out the front to prevent sliding. These tabs function as a device to remove debris that can make noise in a hunting application. These tabs can be used to mimic the sound of a turkey scratching leaves. The tabs can be used at a beach for digging sand. The shape of the footrest creates a pocket that functions as a scoop for moving sand or water. The two individual pieces nest together for storage or transport.
Abstract: A structural foam pool system includes multiple sidewall sections and multiple bottom sections. Abutting sidewall sections are joined together. A sidewall section, from the multiple sidewall sections, is joined to a bottom section. A fluid-tight bond is formed between the abutting sidewall sections and between the sidewall and bottom sections with an adhesive. A sealant is disposed around and closely adjacent to the adhesive layer to prevent fluid leakage from the pool system. The system is then coated in multiple layers of reinforcing mesh with plaster and waterproofing, and finished using a variety of pool finish products, such as tile, plaster, paint, and vinyl liner.
Abstract: Provided herein are self-assembled nanoparticles (NPs), pharmaceutical compositions containing such NPs and methods of using such NPs. The NPs comprise an amphiphilic copolymer and a ribonucleoprotein (RNP), and optionally ssODN, wherein: the amphiphilic copolymer is a water-soluble block copolymer comprising a poly(C2-3 alkylene glycol) block and an acrylic block comprising a poly(acrylate), poly(methacrylate) or poly(acrylate/methacrylate) block; the acrylic block comprise ester side chains bearing substituted or unsubstituted alkylamine groups; and the RNP, ssODN, and the acrylic block of the amphiphilic copolymer form a core of the self-assembled nanoparticle, and the poly(ethylene glycol) block of the amphiphilic copolymer forms the exterior of the self-assembled nanoparticle.
Abstract: A system to improve drill bit performance of a PDC (polycrystalline diamond compact) drill bit by releasing torsional energy in the drilling string produced by slip-stick. A slip apparatus is positioned in the drilling string for this purpose in or between a transition region of the BHA and the remaining drill pipe of the drilling string and the middle region of the drill pipe. Alternatively, the slip apparatus is positioned utilizing a computer programmed to select a position in the drilling string for releasing torsional energy produced by slip stick.

Abstract: A vehicle-compatible air turbine device and system designed to enhance the charging capabilities of batteries or capacitors in hybrid or electric vehicles is disclosed. The turbine device includes a magnetic stator with embedded magnets and coils, and an impeller fan with a plurality of blades arranged radially around a central hub. The turbine device is adapted to capture airflow generated by vehicle movement and converting it into rotational energy to induce an electric current in the stator. The electric current is rectified and used to charge the vehicle's battery or capacitor. The system further includes an adaptive control module to optimize turbine operation based on vehicle speed and battery charge levels. Additionally, the turbine device can be installed in other applications, such as powering streetlights in tunnels using airflow from passing vehicles or wind.

Abstract: In various examples, a technique for modeling equivariance in point neural networks includes determining a first partition prediction associated with partitioning of a plurality of points included in a scene into a first set of parts. The technique also includes generating, using a neural network, a second partition prediction associated with partitioning of the plurality of points into a second set of parts based at least on one or more aggregations associated with the first set of parts. The technique further includes determining a plurality of piecewise equivariant regions included in the scene based on the second partition prediction and generating an object recognition result associated with the plurality of points based on the plurality of piecewise equivariant regions.
