Abstract: One or more computer-readable media (CRM) are disclosed. The CRM include instructions to, upon execution of the instructions by one or more processors of a base station, cause the base station to: generate a phase tracking reference signal (PT-RS) for phase shift compensation; and transmit the PT-RS across a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) using a single-carrier based waveform comprising a carrier frequency. The single-carrier based waveform may be SC-FDE or DFT-s-OFDM.

Abstract: Techniques for controlling the maximum transmission power utilized by transmitters of user equipment are provided. More specifically, a base station may control a transmission power of a transmitter of user equipment that is communicatively coupled to the base station to cause the transmission power of the transmitter to comply with regulations of a geographic location that the user equipment is in. In addition to the base station, the user equipment may control the transmission power of the transmitter. In either case, the transmission power may be based on whether the user equipment is located indoors or outdoors, whether the base station is deployed indoors or outdoors, or both.

Abstract: Some aspects of this disclosure relate to apparatuses and methods for implementing channel state information (CSI) reporting that includes a stale CSI report. Based at least in part on a CSI reporting configuration, a user equipment (UE) performs CSI measurements during a current reference time period, and generates one or more CSI reports including at least a stale CSI report. A stale CSI report is generated based at least in part on CSI measurements performed prior to the current reference time period. The UE further generates an uplink message including the one or more CSI reports, and transmits the uplink message to the base station under a reporting setting determined by the CSI reporting configuration.

Abstract: Input mechanisms can employ a case for an electronic device that provides input capabilities to enhance the user experience when using the case in concert with the electronic device. For example, a case can provide an electromechanical touch sensor to provide the user with an input mechanism that does not require actuation of the button of the electronic device. The electronic device, upon detecting the presence of the case, can disable one or more buttons and perform actions corresponding to the buttons when signals are received from the case.
Abstract: A base station configures a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) for transmission to one or more user equipments (UEs). The base station divides a component carrier (CC) bandwidth into a plurality of sub-bands, transmits a physical random access channel (PRACH) resource on at least one of the sub-bands and transmits a Type1-PDCCH CSS (Physical Downlink Control Channel Common Search Space) set on at least one of the sub-bands, wherein the Type1-PDCCH CSS set corresponds to the PRACH resource.

Abstract: A system such as a vehicle, building, or electronic device system may have a support structure with one or more windows. The support structure and window may separate an interior region within the system from a surrounding exterior region. Control circuitry may receive input such as user input and may adjust an adjustable layer in the window based on the input. The adjustable layer may be an adjustable light transmission layer. The adjustable light transmission layer may have a polymer matrix layer with embedded guest-host liquid crystal cells. Each cell may have liquid crystal material and dichroic dye. The adjustable light transmission layer may be operated in a dark state to prevent light from passing through the window, a clear state in which the window passes light, and intermediate states that exhibit intermediate light transmission levels.

Abstract: Various implementations disclosed herein include devices, systems, and methods that provide measurement techniques for electronic devices such as optical see-through head mounted devices. In some implementations, a line of sight technique is used to identify a 3D position of a measurement point to enable measurement of an object in a 3D environment. In some implementations, different measurement point identification techniques are automatically selected and used to identify a 3D position of a measurement point to enable measurement of an object in a 3D environment. In some implementations, a 3D position of a measurement point is identified to enable measurement of an object in a 3D environment, where the measurement point is identified by selecting from multiple candidates that are determined using different measurement point selection techniques.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to aggregating and sharing wellness data. The wellness data can be received by a user device from any number of sensors external or internal to the user device, from a user manually entering the wellness data, or from other users or entities. The user device can securely store the wellness data on the user device and transmit the wellness data to be stored on a remote database. A user of the device can share some or all of the wellness data with friends, relatives, caregivers, healthcare providers, or the like. The user device can further display a user's wellness data in an aggregated view of different types of wellness data. Wellness data of other users can also be viewed if authorizations from those users have been received.

Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a user equipment device (UE) to determine a default beam for a dedicated PUCCH/SRS in a CC. The UE may determine a pathloss RS has been configured in the CC, e.g., responsive to the UE determining that spatial relationship information for a default transmission beam has not been configured and determine the default beam for transmissions based, at least in part, on the (configured) pathloss RS. Additionally, responsive to determining that the pathloss RS has not been configured in the CC, the UE may determine that no CORESETs/TCI states for a PDSCH in the CC have been configured and determine the default beam for transmissions based, at least in part, on a default transmission beam in another CC, a CC index, a PRACH procedure; a PUSCH transmission; an SRS transmission, and/or a PUCCH transmission.

Abstract: An example method for wireless communication includes: receiving, by a user device in a reduced power state, resource information for receiving a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) and tracking reference signal (TRS); exiting the reduced power state to receive the CSI-RS and TRS, based on the resource information; synchronizing with a base station, based on the received CSI-RS and TRS, to receive a downlink control information message; receiving paging information in a first physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission based on the received downlink control information message; determining whether there is paging information in the first PDSCH transmission for the user device; starting a Random Access Channel (RACH) procedure to make a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection, based on determining that there is paging information for the user device; and returning to the reduced power state, based on determining that there is not paging information for the user device.

Abstract: A regulator circuit included in a computer system may include a control circuit and multiple pass circuits that source respective supply currents to a regulated power supply node by adjusting respective conductance values between an input power supply node and the regulated power supply node. The number of pass circuits can be adjusted on a design-by-design basis based on a threshold load current for the regulator circuit or on a threshold conductance between the input power supply node and the regulated power supply node. The control circuit adjusts the respective conductance values using a combination of respective sense currents generated by the multiple pass circuits along with a reference voltage and a voltage level of the regulated power supply node.

Abstract: A modular light assembly is designed for integration with wearable devices. For example, the modular light assembly can connect with a wearable device, such as a smartwatch, including both a device housing and a band of the wearable device. Additionally, the modular light assembly can receive communication from the wearable device through various means, including inductive energy transfer. As a result, the modular light assembly can receive communication from the wearable device to activate (turn on) or deactivate (turn off) one or more light sources of the modular light assembly. Additionally, or alternatively, the modular light assembly device may include a button coupled to a switch that can activate or deactivate the light source(s).

Abstract: This Application sets forth techniques for managing subscriber identity module (SIM) toolkit (STK) scheduling for multiple enabled electronic subscriber identity module (eSIM) profiles on an embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC) of a wireless device, including managing multiple STK sessions at a baseband processor external to the eUICC of the wireless device. To forestall STK communication for different eSIMs from interfering with execution of processes associated with the eSIMs, a baseband processor can schedule STK sessions to avoid overlap and reduce opportunities for errors in handling eSIM processes. The baseband processor can prioritize whether to queue commands for a second STK session for a second eSIM until a first STK session for a first eSIM ends or to terminate the first STK session to handle the second STK session.
