Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to dedicated power function circuitry for a floating-point power instruction. In some embodiments, execution circuitry is configured to execute a floating-point power instruction to evaluate the power function xy as 2y log2x. In some embodiments, base-2 logarithm circuitry is configured to evaluate a base-2 logarithm for a first input (e.g., log2 x) by determining coefficients for a polynomial function and evaluating the polynomial function using the determined coefficients and the first input. In some embodiments, multiplication circuitry multiplies the base-2 logarithm result by a second input to generate a multiplication result. In some embodiments, base-2 power function circuitry is configured to evaluate a base-2 power function for the multiplication result. Disclosed techniques may advantageously increase performance and reduce power consumption of floating-point power function operations with reasonable area and accuracy, relative to traditional techniques.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for addressing bank hotspotting are described. A computing system includes a memory controller with an arbiter for determining how to arbitrate access to one or more memory device(s) for received requests. The arbiter categorizes each request in a manner that helps to ensure fair virtual channel distribution across the banks of the memory device(s). The category system includes bank hotspotting functions to give banks that have more requests more chances to go over banks with fewer requests. The category system is implemented proportionally with more category credits given to banks with higher bank depths within the virtual channel.

Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to user interfaces for managing messages. Receiving a message and displaying the message based on a categorization of the message sender or, if the message sender is not categorized, displaying a prompt to categorize the message sender.

Abstract: Methods and devices for a UE to multiplex uplink control information (UCI). The UE establishes a connection with a base station. The UE determines whether to multiplex first UCI by first identifying whether intra-priority timing overlap exists between the timing resources of the first UCI and a PUSCH with the same priority. Subsequently, the UE identifies whether inter-priority timing overlap exists between the timing resources of the first UCI and a second PUCCH with a different priority from the first PUCCH. Finally, the UE identifies whether the timing resources of the first UCI overlap with a second PUSCH with a different priority than the first PUCCH. The UE multiplexes the first UCI based on the determination whether to multiplex the first UCI, and transmits the multiplexed first UCI to the base station.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to techniques for performing paging forwarding for remote wireless devices in a wireless communication system. A relay wireless device and a remote wireless device may establish a relay link. The relay wireless device may provide an indication of the relay link between the relay wireless device and the remote wireless device to a cellular base station. The relay wireless device may receive paging information for the remote wireless device from the cellular base station. The relay wireless device may provide the paging information to the remote wireless device via the relay link between the relay wireless device and the remote wireless device.

Abstract: Some embodiments of this disclosure include systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer-readable media for use in a wireless network for redirecting a user equipment (UE) to an evolved universal terrestrial radio access (UTRA) absolute radio frequency number (EARFCN) of an evolved universal mobile telecommunications service terrestrial radio access network (EUTRAN) band with a band number greater than sixty four. For example, some embodiments are directed to an electronic device including radio front end circuitry and processor circuitry coupled to the radio front end circuitry. The processor circuitry is configured to generate a channel release message and transmit, using the radio front end circuitry, the channel release message to the UE. The channel release message is configured to redirect the UE to the EARFCN of the EUTRAN band with the band number greater than sixty four.

Abstract: An electronic device may include wireless circuitry with a processor, a transceiver, an antenna, and a front-end module coupled between the transceiver and the antenna. The front-end module may include one or more power amplifiers for amplifying a signal for transmission through the antenna. Radio-frequency power amplifier circuitry may include an amplifier, an input transformer for coupling radio-frequency input signals to the amplifier, an active inductor load coupled to the input transformer, and a second order intermodulation generation circuit configured to generate and inject a second order intermodulation product into the input transformer. The injected second order intermodulation product can be used to cancel out unwanted third order intermodulation products generated by the amplifier, which reduces intermodulation distortion experienced by the amplifier circuitry.

Abstract: An electronic device may have an upper housing and a lower housing separated by a slot. An antenna module may be mounted in the lower housing and may include a cavity. An antenna element may be disposed within the cavity. Grounded traces may be patterned onto walls of the module and may be coupled to conductive walls of the lower housing by conductive gaskets. The antenna element may have a high band arm displaced farther into the cavity than a low band arm by a shim. The antenna module may have an acoustic port aligned with a speaker port. The acoustic port may allow sound waves from a speaker to pass into the cavity from the speaker port. The cavity may be configured to optimize an audio response of the speaker while concurrently optimizing radio-frequency performance of the antenna element.

Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for CCA power signaling during COT sharing. A UE may report a maximum EIRP for COT sharing as a UE capability, e.g., for a frequency range between 52.6 and 71 gigahertz. The UE may receive a Pout value for CCA based on the UE capability and may report an actual EIRP used for CCA to acquire the COT. For configured grant COT sharing, the UE may perform a directional LBT with a specific EIRP and beam detection for a transmission burst and report a Pout value for COT sharing based on the directional LBT, e.g., via a configured grant uplink control indication. For dynamic grant COT sharing, the UE may detect that an EIRP exceeds a threshold and report a Pout value for COT sharing via a medium access control (MAC) control element. The threshold may be based on a closed loop power control setting.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer-readable media are provided for Remote Interference Management (RIM) in wireless networks, including RIM reference signals (RIM-RS) transmitted to assist victim Radio Access Network (RAN) nodes to identify aggressor RAN nodes due to, for example, atmospheric ducting. The RIM-RS is also bandwidth-flexible in order to enable detection of the RIM-RS by aggressor RAN nodes with different bandwidth configurations. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

Abstract: In an embodiment, a system on a chip (SOC) includes a component that remains powered when a central processing unit (CPU) processor and a memory controller of the SOC are powered off. The component may include a sensor capture unit to capture audio samples from an audio detector circuit and write them to a memory of the component. A processor of the component may be configured to search the audio samples for a predetermined pattern during a time when the CPU processor and the memory controller are powered down. In some embodiments, based on the audio samples filling to a threshold level in the memory of the component and a lack of detection of the predetermined pattern, the component is configured to wake up the memory controller and a path to the memory controller in order to write the audio sample to a memory controlled by the memory controller.

The method includes displaying, on the display, an image representation of a synthesized reality (SR) setting including a plurality of surfaces associated with an acoustic reverberation property of the SR setting. The method includes recording, via the microphone, a real sound produced in a physical setting. The method further includes generating, using the one or more processors, a virtual sound by transforming the real sound based on the acoustic reverberation property of the SR setting. The method further includes playing, via the speaker, the virtual sound.

First uplink resources configured by the source gNB for a dedicated scheduling request may be determined. The dedicated scheduling request may be generated at the UE to request second uplink resources from the gNB for a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) a handover request in a media access control (MAC) control element (CE). The handover request carried by the MAC CE for the source gNB may be generated. In response to the handover request, a handover command from the source gNB associated with performing a handover procedure from the source gNB to the target gNB may be processed.

Abstract: Some embodiments of this disclosure include apparatuses and methods for accessing a communication frequency channel by a first communication system during a first time interval, and accessing the communication frequency channel by a second communication system during a second time interval adjacent to the first time interval.
