An embodiment provides a method for a user equipment (UE), including determining a number of slots for a Tracking Reference Signal (TRS), wherein the number of slots is based on a subcarrier spacing of a bandwidth part (BWP) in a current component carrier for the UE; and receiving TRS based on the number of slots and a quasi co-location (QCL) relationship of the TRS, wherein the QCL relationship indicates that the TRS is Quasi-Co-Located (QCLed) with a Synchronization Signal (SS) block or a Channel State Information Reference Signal (CSI-RS).

    Abstract: This relates to systems and processes for using a virtual assistant to control electronic devices. In one example process, a user can speak an input in natural language form to a user device to control one or more electronic devices. The user device can transmit the user speech to a server to be converted into a textual representation. The server can identify the one or more electronic devices and appropriate commands to be performed by the one or more electronic devices based on the textual representation. The identified one or more devices and commands to be performed can be transmitted back to the user device, which can forward the commands to the appropriate one or more electronic devices for execution. In response to receiving the commands, the one or more electronic devices can perform the commands and transmit their current states to the user device.

The UE can be configured with an offset value, k, and a length, l, of the HARQ-ACK window associated with an uplink transmission slot n, of a Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) transmission, and determine a starting slot of the HARQ-ACK window as n?k. When a corresponding valid uplink transmission slot is not available, the UE can transmit the HARQ-ACK information bit in the uplink transmission slot n of the PUCCH transmission.

A display in the head-mounted device may display passthrough display content that includes the live video feed. Control circuitry may dynamically adjust a maximum allowable brightness for the passthrough display content during operation of the head-mounted device. Upon an initial donning of the head-mounted device, the passthrough display content may be permitted to use most or all of the achievable brightness range of the display. After a given time period, the user may be adapted to the brightness range of the display and the maximum allowable brightness for the passthrough display content may be reduced to allow additional headroom for rendered display content. The control circuitry may continue to adjust tone mappings for passthrough display content and rendered display content based on whether the display content favors real-world content or virtual content.

During an enrollment process, images of a user's eye are captured by one or more cameras when the eye is in two or more different orientations and at two or more different levels of display brightness. The generated user-aware eye model may be used in other processes, for example in a gaze tracking process. The enrollment process may be an iterative process to optimize the eye model, or a continuous process performed while the user is using the system.

    Abstract: A lens system provides a zoom function (variable magnification) in a low profile camera (lens system height less than or equal to 6 mm), which may be in a cellular phone. Responsive to a request to change focal length or magnification, a controller sends a corresponding signal to each of the actuators that move the corresponding lens group by a corresponding distance in a corresponding direction. The various movable lens groups may be moved by different distances and in different directions of movement. An f-number of the lens system is less than f/3.0. Focusing of an image cast onto an image sensor is accomplished by adjusting the position along the optical axis of one of the movable lens groups.
