  • Publication number: 20230181101
Abstract: In some implementations, a mobile device can adjust an alarm setting based on the sleep onset latency duration detected for a user of the mobile device. For example, sleep onset latency can be the amount of time it takes for the user to fall asleep after the user attempts to go to sleep (e.g., goes to bed). The mobile device can determine when the user intends or attempts to go to sleep based on detected sleep ritual activities. Sleep ritual activities can include those activities a user performs in preparation for sleep. The mobile device can determine when the user is asleep based on detected sleep signals (e.g., biometric data, sounds, etc.). In some implementations, the mobile device can determine recurring patterns of long or short sleep onset latency and present suggestions that might help the user sleep better or feel more rested.

  • Publication number: 20230188264
Abstract: Some embodiments of this disclosure include apparatuses and methods for implementing block acknowledgment (BA) operations for multi-link wireless communication networks. For example some embodiments relate to an electronic device including a transceiver and one or more processors communicatively coupled to the transceiver. The one or more processors transmit, using the transceiver and to a second electronic device, a first set of one or more frames on a first link and a second set of one or more frames on a second link. The one or more processors receive, using the transceiver and from the second electronic device, a first block acknowledgment (BA) frame on the first link and a second BA frame on the second link. The one or more processors further determine, based on received first BA frame and the second BA frame, a failed or missing frame of the first set of one or more frames transmitted on the first link.

  • Patent number: 11675710
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for limiting translation lookaside buffer (TLB) searches using active page size are described. A TLB stores virtual-to-physical address translations for a plurality of different page sizes. When the TLB receives a command to invalidate a TLB entry corresponding to a specified virtual address, the TLB performs, for the plurality of different pages sizes, multiple different lookups of the indices corresponding to the specified virtual address. In order to reduce the number of lookups that are performed, the TLB relies on a page size presence vector and an age matrix to determine which page sizes to search for and in which order. The page size presence vector indicates which page sizes may be stored for the specified virtual address. The age matrix stores a preferred search order with the most probable page size first and the least probable page size last.

  • Patent number: 11675919
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to securely storing data at a computing device that is managed by an external entity. In some embodiments, a computing device maintains a first file system volume having data that is accessible to a user of the computing device and that is not managed by an entity external to the computing device. The computing device receives, from the entity external, a first request to configure the computing device to store data that is accessible to the user and managed by the external entity. In response to the first request, the computing device creates a second distinct file system volume to store the data managed by the external entity. In response to a second request from the external entity, the computing device subsequently removes the second file system volume.
