Patent number: 11677554Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to secure message exchanges. In some embodiments, a first computing device generates an account key associated with a user account shared by a plurality of computing devices. The first computing device signs a public key of the first computing device with the generated account key to produce a digital signature and sends the public key and the digital signature to a first server system for distributing the public key to a second computing device attempting to send an encrypted message to the first computing device. The first computing device sends the account key to an external storage external usable by others of the plurality of computing devices to obtain the account key and use the account key to sign public keys of the other computing devices. The first computing device receives, from the second computing device, the encrypted message encrypted using the public key.Type: GrantFiled: May 29, 2020Date of Patent: June 13, 2023Assignee: Apple Inc.Inventors: Bailey E. Patent number: 11678224Abstract: A host device establishes a wireless communication link with a client device, and implements a wired communication standard on the link to transfer a first data stream. To increase data throughput while complying with the standard, the host device replaces synchronizing information in a packet to be sent during a first synchronizing frame with configuration information indicating that packet exchange data of a second data stream is to be sent or received during a second synchronizing frame. The host device sends or receives the packet exchange data of the second data stream to or from the client device during the second synchronizing frame via the wireless communication link. The host device may send or receive the packet exchange data of the second data stream during delays or idle periods between sending and/or receiving packets of the first data stream via the wireless communication link according to the wired communication standard.Type: GrantFiled: July 19, 2021Date of Patent: June 13, 2023Assignee: Apple Inc.Inventors: Jorge L. Patent number: 11676395Abstract: Automated capture of image data for points of interest may be implemented for points of interest in an environment external to a vehicle. Sensors implemented as part of a vehicle may collect sensor data for an environment. Processing of the sensor data may be performed to detect points of interest in the environment. In response to detecting a point of interest, image data may be captured by one or more of the sensors implemented at the vehicle. Different types of image data may be captured, such as panoramic images and three-dimensional reconstructions of a scene. Metadata may be generated for captured image data which may describe the point of interest that is captured by the image data. Patent number: 11675380Abstract: A voltage regulator circuit may generate a regulated voltage level using a voltage level of a feedback node. The regulated voltage level may be distributed, via a power distribution network, to package power supply node of a package, into which an integrated circuit has been mounted. Power switches included in the integrated circuit may couple the package power supply node to respective local power supply nodes in the integrated circuit. A particular power switch may selectively couple different ones of the local power supply nodes to the feedback node, allowing the voltage regulator circuit to compensate for reductions in the regulated voltage level due to the power distribution network, as well as adjust the regulated voltage level based on power consumptions of load circuits coupled to the local power supply nodes.Type: GrantFiled: April 7, 2022Date of Patent: June 13, 2023Assignee: Apple Inc.Inventors: Shawn Searles, Victor Zyuban, Mohamed Abu-Rahma
