Abstract: Disclosed are gaming systems, methods and machines that include one or more modular buttons. In particular, a modular button is configured for mounting within a frame or panel. The modular button may be interchangeable, such that various modular buttons may be added, exchanged, and/or removed from the frame. In some examples, the frame may be formed of a metal or other structural material. In some examples, the frame may be formed within a surface of another system, such as a bar-top, a gaming table, or an EGM, as a non-limiting listing of examples. The modular buttons include devices and/or circuitry to enable wireless transfer of power and/or communications.
Abstract: In one aspect, an electronic gaming system is described. The electronic gaming system includes a display device, a random number generator (RNG), a player input interface, and a game controller configured to execute instructions stored in a tangible, non-transitory, computer-readable medium. When executed by the game controller, the instructions cause the game controller to at least determine, during play of a base game, that an enhancement trigger condition is satisfied and convert the symbol displayed on each position having one of the first frame and the second frame displayed thereon into a wild symbol. The instructions further cause the game controller to determine that a bonus game trigger condition is satisfied and convert a plurality of positions on each reel with at least one position having the second frame displayed thereon, into a bonus reel. The instructions also cause the game controller to generate a bonus game outcome.

Abstract: Innovations in game design features of an electronic gaming device are presented. Groups of players can be defined that may win an award that is also available to non-group based players. If the award is won by a group-based player, the award can be distributed to at least a portion of the group members in addition to the player who won the award. A group profile can define criteria for group membership, awards associated with the group, how awards will be distributed among the group, and how and when groups can be altered. Groups can be associated with awards other than those associated with gaming activity. In addition, a value of a gaming award can be increased based on non-gaming activity.
Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for enabling all wins multiplier features on gaming devices during multiplayer gaming tournament play. The all wins multiplier features may be simultaneously engaged on multiple gaming devices at a predetermined point in time, and may generally all simultaneously terminate the all wins multiplier feature at the same time. Multiple different all wins multiplier features using different multiplier values may be enabled at different times during a particular tournament session.

Abstract: Techniques and systems for providing games of chance with multiple levels of persistent features are disclosed. Some example systems include scatter prize indicators that are each associated with different symbol positions of a game of chance. When a scatter symbol is selected for a given symbol position, the scatter prize indicator associated therewith may be upgraded; selection of a sufficient number of symbol positions may result in a feature game mode being activated. During feature game mode play, scatter symbols are retained after each play of the game until either sufficient consecutive plays occur without any scatter symbols being obtained or until all symbol positions have scatter symbols. In the latter case, the scatter prize indicators are upgraded and play continues. In the former case, the feature game mode concludes. Various enhancements may be triggered based on the number of times that the feature game mode has been activated.

Abstract: A gaming device may comprise various components, including a main cabinet, a game controller, and a display assembly. The display assembly may be releasably coupled to the game cabinet so that the display assembly may be quickly removed prior to replacement and/or maintenance operations. The display assembly may include a display panel and the display panel may be separated into multiple display regions. A perimeter of the display panel may be reserved for edge lighting purposes and may attract a user's attention to the gaming device.
Abstract: A mobile support system for providing wagering game play to a plurality of mobile devices is provided. The system is configured to receive a play request for the wagering game from a mobile device, where the play request includes a wager amount and represents placement of a wager for an instance of game play of the wagering game. The system generates an instance of game source data for the wagering game and identifies a game play data set used for the play request. Prior to performing a withdrawal transaction of the wager amount for the play request, the system generate a wager outcome for the play request by comparing the game source data with the game play data set. After determining the wager outcome for the play request, the system causes the withdrawal transaction of the wager amount to be performed, thereby completing a placement of the wager amount.
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and system of selective advertising includes a gaming server to receive a request to play a game of chance from a gaming device, transmit gaming data to the gaming device, the gaming data associated with the requested game of chance, and receive player data, the player data associated with the player's eye movement, gestures, or change in state. The server may also be configured to analyze the player data, determine a context associated with the player data; and initiate an action based on the determined context.
Abstract: A continuous symbol sequence supplemental game features is described. A gaming device randomly triggers, based on a random number generator, a continuous symbol sequence supplemental game feature. The gaming device randomly determines, based on the random number generator and triggering the continuous symbol sequence supplemental game feature, a number of credit symbols to add to a continuous symbol sequence. The gaming device randomly determine, based on the random number generator, the credit values for the credit symbols. The gaming device presents the continuous symbol sequence, wherein the credit values of the credit symbols in the continuous symbol sequence are arranged in a designated order.
