Abstract: A method for recommending feed sources in an event feed includes generating an event feed comprising a plurality of feed items associated with a user. The event feed includes a recommendation feed item comprising one or more feed item sources, which may include a document space not currently followed by the user. The method further includes causing at least a portion of the event feed to be displayed to the user in the event feed. In accordance with a determination that the user is viewing a graphical user interface associated with a first software application, the recommendation feed item includes feed item sources associated with the first software application. In accordance with a determination that the user is viewing a graphical user interface associated with a second software application different from the first, the recommendation feed item includes feed item sources associated with the second software application.

Abstract: A platform-agnostic input system can render a multiuser input board user interface element at one or more frontends to collect input from multiple users simultaneously. The platform-agnostic input system can maintain an object graph based on positions of objects added to the multiuser input board. The platform-agnostic input system can select branches of the object graph and determine which among a set of platforms in a multiplatform computing system to associate with the data associated with each node of that branch of the object graph.

Abstract: The disclosure is directed to system that is configured to manage electronic content and, more specifically, provide a user interface for designating content status with respect to electronic content. The electronic content may be managed by a content collaboration system that manages and stores user-generated content in a series of related pages or documents. Content status may be designated using controls provided via a web-browser user interface and used for tracking and management of electronic content by individual users, which may allow for improved data preservation and more uniform content management.

Abstract: System and methods for automatically scaling compute resources in a compute group. The method includes determining compute capacity required to complete job requests and determining allocable compute capacity available on the compute resources in the compute group. The method further includes calculating a utilization of the compute group based on the required compute capacity and allocable compute capacity and determining whether the calculated utilization is above a first threshold value or below a second threshold value; upon determining that the calculated utilization is above the first threshold value the method calculates a number of compute resources required to bring the utilization below the first threshold value and causes an increase in the number of compute resources in the compute group based on the calculated number. Upon determining that the calculated utilization falls below the second threshold value the method causes a reduction in the number of active compute resources.

The content suggestion service may be configured to, during a real-time chat session between a first user and a second user, receive one or more communication events exchanged between the first user and the second user, determine, using the received one or more communication events, a subject of the real-time chat session, and cause an identifier of a candidate suggested content item to be displayed to the first user.

Abstract: Embodiments include methods and systems for generating a user interface on a mobile device. The method includes instantiating a client application on the mobile device and causing display of a first graphical user interface within the client application. A set of registered users is identified, the set of users having a hierarchical relationship to a first user account associated with the first user. The graphical user interface displays a set of avatar icons, which corresponds to the set of registered users. In response to a selection of a particular avatar icon of the set of avatar icons, the system accesses particular issue state data associated with a particular user account of the particular avatar icon and causing display of a second graphical user interface comprising a first overlay card that includes the particular avatar and at least a portion of the particular issue state data.

Abstract: Systems and methods for intelligently pre-fetching data for input controls are disclosed. In particular, the disclosed systems and methods predict whether an input control is likely to be edited and only pre-fetches data for the input controls that have a high likelihood of being edited. This way, the presently disclosed systems and methods not only reduce latency in displaying recommended data results for input controls that are likely to be edited but also reduces the number of calls made to the backend server to retrieve the data as the data is not retrieved for all rendered input controls, but only the ones that are likely to be edited.

Abstract: An issue tracking system configured to track issues, tickets, or tasks is described herein. The issue tracking system may be used to create, modify, and delete issue records during a live meeting or event. The issue tracking system may be adapted to determine a likelihood of user attendance or user proximity and, in accordance with the likelihood exceeding a threshold or meeting a criteria, suppress transmission of notifications to a subset of user devices. Normal or unsuppressed notification transmission is maintained to another subset of user devices.

Abstract: In an embodiment, an image reception system is communicatively coupled to an image analysis system and is configured to receive a digital image and analyze the pixels of the digital image to determine one or more regions in the digital image. For each region in the one or more regions in the digital image, the image analysis system recognizes the content in the region. A document creation system communicatively coupled to the image analysis system is configured to create a digital document based on the recognized content for the one or more regions. The method includes receiving, from a client device, a request defining an original structured query language (SQL) query; processing the SQL query to identify a set of search engine clauses included in the original SQL query; converting the set of search engine clauses into a search engine query; communicating the search engine query to a search engine for execution; receiving object identifiers for one or more objects that match the search engine query; generating a database query based on the received object identifiers; executing the database query; and receiving and returning results of the executed database query to the client device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for cross-domain tracking of users are disclosed. Embodiments provide mechanism for a unique identifier generated for a first domain (also referred to as a cross domain identifier) and stored at the user device to be made available to a second domain via a cross domain identifier system (XID system) such that the second domain can also use the same unique identifier for the user. This way, a user is identified at multiple domains of the organization using a single unique identifier. Further, in case a user identifier cannot be provided from the first domain to the second, the unique identifier can be created based on a fingerprint of the user's browser.

Abstract: Described herein is a computer implemented method for inserting a new item to a tree-structured dataset. The method comprises: calculating a new item data summary; generating a new leaf node for storing the new item and the new item data summary; adding the new leaf node to the dataset; and recalculating data summaries for all internal dataset nodes in an update path starting at a parent of the new leaf node and ending at a root node of the dataset. The data summary for a given internal node in the update path is calculated based on data summaries for each of the given internal node's children nodes.

Abstract: Systems and methods for displaying a view of a virtual file system through a file viewer of a computer operating system are described herein. In an embodiment, an application receives a request to return data to display in a view of a file repository from a service of a computer operating system which is configured to cause displaying of the view of the file repository. The application accesses stored configuration information which identifies one or more particular queries which are mapped to a particular folder of the file repository. The application transmits the one or more particular queries to a database management system and receives structured data that satisfies the one or more particular queries in response.

Abstract: Described herein is a computer implemented method. The method comprises generating a subscription identifier based on an original SQL query and determining if a set of first stage query results is associated with the subscription identifier in a cache. If so, the method further comprises generating a second stage SQL query based on a second subset of the plurality of clauses and the set of first stage query results, causing execution of the second stage SQL query to obtain a set of second stage query results from a database, and returning the set of second stage query results.
