Abstract: Technologies for creating a digital link between an acronym in an electronic document and a definition that is retrievable by an online system include receiving digital data that includes the acronym and a current usage context; where the acronym and the current usage context form an acronym-usage context pair; creating, as digital output in response to the digital data, a link between the acronym-usage context pair and the definition; where a similarity metric is used to select the definition from different stored definitions of the acronym; where the similarity metric is determined by computer program instructions mathematically comparing the current usage context to usage context data of at least one of the different stored definitions of the acronym; where the link is traversable to cause display of the definition on a display device in response to a display of the acronym on the display device.

Abstract: Described herein is a computer implemented method for confirming the completion of an onboarding setup item of an IT Service Management (ITSM) system. The system comprises a first software platform, a second software platform and an intermediary onboarding platform operatively associated with a database for storing a state of the setup item, the setup item being associated with at least one of the first and second software platforms. The method comprises receiving input data associated with at least one of the first and second software platforms; querying the received input data against completion criteria that is dependent on a predetermined item type; updating a state of the setup item; and displaying a visual indication of confirmation of the completion of the setup item.

Abstract: Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for providing and using a software defined network controller. A software defined network controller can be provided by a computing system that includes a processor. A service model that represents a service can be obtained. A network model that represents network resources that support the service can be obtained. Resources that support the service can be determined. Templates can be accessed to identify templates that relate to the resources. The templates identified can be assembled to obtain a template-based representation of the service. The template-based representation can be executed to determine if the service is ready for deployment.

Abstract: Systems and methods for processing schemas to generate set representations of those schemas. Schema set representations can be used to generate schema coverage notifications. Set operations can be performed on schemas to compare schemas and identify whether any support changes have been made thereto.

The method includes identifying a first portion and a second portion of the document having a first level of content hierarchy, and determining a first text corresponding to the first portion and a second text corresponding to the second portion of the document. Abstract: A method for recommending feed sources in an event feed includes generating an event feed comprising a plurality of feed items associated with a user. The event feed includes a recommendation feed item comprising one or more feed item sources not being followed by the user. In accordance with a determination that the user is viewing a graphical user interface associated with a first software application, the recommendation feed item includes feed item sources associated with the first software application. Abstract: Embodiments include methods for generating automated responses to event feed items in a multiplatform collaboration system. The methods can include receiving event notifications for events generated at a respective application service of a set of applications services, rendering a set of event cards corresponding to the events, and identifying a subset of event cards that include an update to a comment field. Methods include generating, for each event card in the subset of event cards, a comment field and causing the client device to display event cards of the set of event cards in an event feed. Methods include a, in response to a user selecting a reply option in an event card, causing the client device to launch an application platform associated with the application service and generate a response interface including a pre-populated response comment.

Abstract: Computer-implemented methods and systems for integrating computer applications are disclosed. One method includes querying a primary computer application for current state of a newly created object; receiving the current state of the object, and generating object data for a secondary computer application based on the current state of the object. The method further includes communicating an object creation request to a secondary computer application, the object creation request including the generated object data, receiving a secondary computer application object identifier from the secondary computer application upon creation of the object at the secondary computer application, and communicating the secondary computer application object identifier to the primary computer application for storing in a record of the object created at the primary computer application.

Abstract: In an embodiment, an image reception system is communicatively coupled to an image analysis system and is configured to receive a digital image and analyze the pixels of the digital image to determine one or more regions in the digital image. For each region in the one or more regions in the digital image, the image analysis system recognizes the content in the region. A document creation system communicatively coupled to the image analysis system is configured to create a digital document based on the recognized content for the one or more regions. In some embodiments, the image analysis system is further configured to analyze the digital image to detect one or more of the following: region markers, tables, headers.

Abstract: Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for service creation and management. A processor can detect an event relating to a service, and access a service creation database to identify a recipe associated with the service. The recipe can define a resource to be used to provide the service. The processor can access an inventory to determine if the resource is available, identify a service control to control the service, instruct an infrastructure control to allocate virtual machines to host components of the service, and issue instructions to the service control. The instructions can instruct the service control to load service functions to the virtual machines.

Abstract: Methods and systems for intelligently recommending selections for a selector control are disclosed. The method includes receiving a recommendation request from a selector control client, the recommendation request comprising a search string and a unique identifier of a user interacting with a selector control; identifying user identifiers of usernames matching the search string; retrieving machine learning features corresponding to the user identifiers of usernames matching the search string; applying a machine learning model to the retrieved machine learning features to assign weights to the retrieved machine learning features; computing recommendation scores for the user identifiers based on the assigned weights to the retrieved machine learning features; ranking the user identifiers based on the recommendation scores; and forwarding a ranked list of user identifiers to the selector control client for displaying in the selector control for selection by the user interacting with the selector control.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure relate to systems and methods for leveraging unsupervised machine learning to produce interpretable routing rules. In various embodiments, a training dataset comprising a plurality of data records is created. The plurality of data records includes message data comprising a plurality of messages and action data comprising a plurality of actions that correspond to the plurality of messages. A first machine learning model is trained using the training dataset. The first machine learning model as trained provides cluster data that indicates, for each data record of the plurality of data records of the training dataset, membership in a cluster of a plurality of clusters. An enhanced training dataset is created that comprises the message data from the training dataset, the action data from the training dataset, and the cluster data.

The method includes receiving a user interface request to display a user interface of an issue tracking system from a user device. Abstract: Systems, methods and non-transitory computer readable media for detecting incidents are disclosed. The method includes receiving a primary issue creation event record for a primary issue, the event record including a description of the primary issue, and encoding the primary issue into a primary vector number based on the description of the primary issue. The method further includes identifying candidate issues and retrieving vector numbers of the identified candidate issues, computing distances between the primary vector number and each of the candidate vector numbers, and determining whether incident criteria is met based on the computed distances. In addition, the method includes determining that an incident has occurred upon determining that the incident criteria is met and generating an alert.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for deploying an application. An application system may host one or more software applications, each software application having a plurality of application deployments. A first application deployment is customized based on a first set of user interactions with the application and a second application deployment is different to the first deployment due to being customized based on a second set of user interactions with the application. The second set of user interactions is different to the first set of user interactions. Usage information about a user is received, the usage information indicating a third set of user interactions with an application of the one or more software applications. A user profile of the user is determined from the usage information. The first application deployment is determined based on the user profile. The first application is deployed for the user based on the first application deployment.
