Abstract: A system for controlling a steam cracking furnace may include a controller configured to control an electric heater to pre-heat a combustion air feed to a radiation section of the cracking furnace, and one or more sensors configured to sense properties of a recovered pure hydrogen stream fed to the radiation section of the cracking furnace as fuel. The controller can be configured to receive the sensed properties from the one or more sensors and control the electric heater based on the one or more sensed properties.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for high-purity hydrogen fired liquid hydrocarbon cracking. In one embodiment, the method may include preheating a liquid hydrocarbon feedstock in a first heat exchanger that is external to a furnace, adding steam to the preheated liquid hydrocarbon feedstock to create a fully or substantially fully vaporized stream, heating the fully or substantially fully vaporized stream in a second heat exchanger that is external to the furnace, and cracking the heated fully or substantially fully vaporized stream after it is preheated in the furnace to create a cracked gas stream comprising ethylene and hydrogen.
Abstract: A process and system for integrating a steam cracking unit with a blue hydrogen unit in which a methane-rich gas stream, a hydrogen-rich gas stream, or both from the steam cracking unit are fed to the blue hydrogen unit and a high purity hydrogen gas stream from the blue hydrogen unit is directed to the steam cracking unit.
Abstract: A process and system to integrate a steam cracking unit with a blue ammonia unit such that a methane-rich gas stream and/or a hydrogen-rich gas stream is directed from the steam cracking unit to the blue ammonia unit while a hydrogen gas containing stream is directed from the blue ammonia unit to the steam cracking unit.

Abstract: A motion planner of a computer system of a primary agent, e.g., an autonomous vehicle, uses reconfigurable collision detection architecture hardware to perform a collision assessment on a planning graph for the primary agent prior to execution of a motion plan. For edges on the planning graph, which represent transitions in states of the primary agent, the system sets a probability of collision with another agent, e.g., a dynamic object, in the environment based at least in part on the collision assessment. Depending on whether the goal of the primary agent is to avoid or collide with a particular dynamic object in the environment, the system then performs an optimization to identify a path in the resulting planning graph with either a relatively low or relatively high potential of a collision with the particular dynamic object. The system then causes the actuator system of the primary agent to implement a motion plan with the applicable identified path based at least in part on the optimization.

Abstract: An electronic device and method for object-centric video representation for action prediction is provided. The electronic device extracts a first sequence of video segments from video content associated with a domain and detects a set of objects in the first sequence of video segments. The electronic device generates a set of embeddings based on the first sequence of video segments and the set of objects. The electronic device applies a PTE model on the set of embeddings. The electronic device predicts, based on the application, a set of object-action pairs associated with a second sequence of video segments of the video content. Each object-action pair includes an action to be executed using an object of the set of objects in a video segment of the second sequence of video segments. The second sequence of video segments succeeds the first sequence of video segments in a timeline of the video content.

Abstract: An electronic device and method for using neural language models for long-term action anticipation from videos is provided. The electronic device receives a video that includes one or more objects performing a physical task and generates, based on the video, a first set of tags that corresponds to a first sequence of actions associated with the physical task. The electronic device generates a first prompt for a neural language model based on the first set of tags and predicts, by application of the neural language model on the first prompt, a second set of tags that corresponds to a second sequence of actions associated with the physical task. The second sequence of actions succeeds the first sequence of actions. The electronic device controls a display device to display first prediction information based on the second set of tags.

Abstract: A pressware product includes a top piece and a bottom piece. The top piece includes a planar central portion, a sidewall extending from the central planar portion, and a flange extending horizontally from the sidewall. The flange includes a slot and a radially extending top groove. The bottom piece cooperatively defines an inner space with the top piece. The bottom piece includes a planar central portion, a sidewall extending from the central planar portion, and a flange extending horizontally from the sidewall. The flange includes a locking flap configured to engage the slot of the top piece and a radially extending bottom groove. The radially extending bottom groove cooperatively defines a channel with the top groove so that the channel is in fluid communication with the inner space.

Abstract: A first stream containing 1,3-butadiene, C4 acetylenes, and optionally C3 hydrocarbons, is mixed with a portion of the liquid recycle stream from a C4 acetylene hydrogenation reactor containing hydrogenated C4 acetylenes and a molecular hydrogen-containing stream, the resulting mixed stream is then fed to a C4 acetylene hydrogenation reactor to selectively hydrogenate the C4 acetylenes in the crude butadiene stream without appreciable 1,3-butadiene conversion.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for delimiting a gas plant during fluid catalytic cracking unit (FCCU) revamp as part of the olefin production system. These methods and system include a chiller unit in the gas concentration unit downstream of the FCCU. Other measures also include installing a stripper unit downstream of the regenerator of the FCCU or installing a quench line in a reactor of a FCCU to reduce the contact time of the hydrocarbon feedstock with the catalyst. These methods and systems may also lead to an increase in the propylene yield of the olefin production system.

Abstract: A system and a process for dimerizing cyclopentadiene (CPD) including producing a C6+C7 rich bottoms stream and a C5 rich side draw from a debutanizer, where the C5 rich side draw and at least a portion of the C6+C7 rich bottoms stream are directed to a dimerizer where the CPD is thermally dimerized to dicyclopentadiene (DCPD). DCPD is more stable than CPD and thus safer to handle.

Abstract: The present invention relates to debottleneck solution for delayed Coker unit. More particularly, this invention relates to bottoms of vacuum residuum routed to Coker unit through de-asphalting unit to avoid revamp of existing Coker for the processing of heavier feed stock when there is a change in crude slate. Another object of the invention, in particular, relates to improved delayed coking products, a process used in petroleum refineries to crack petroleum residue, thus converting it into gaseous and liquid product streams and leaving behind solid, carbonaceous petroleum coke.
