Abstract: A system for forming a pressware product comprises rollers, a scoring tool, a scoring station actuator, a forming tool, and a forming station actuator. The rollers pull the web along a path having an angle. The scoring tool receives the material from the rollers and includes a vertically shiftable scoring punch with an edge that extends about an outline of the pressware product and a striker plate. The scoring station actuator shifts the scoring tool to form a slot in the web. The forming tool receives the scored web and includes a vertically shiftable positive mold assembly and negative mold assembly. The forming station actuator shifts the positive mold assembly to press against the web and form the pressware product.

Abstract: A method includes providing an ensemble of distributed sensors, delivering radio frequency (RF) power to each sensor by inductive near-field coupling by a magnetic field projected by an epidermal transmit (Tx) coil, in each individual sensor, detecting a sparse binary event in its immediate environment, reporting the detected sparse binary event to an external RF receiver hub asynchronously and with low latency, and minimizing error rates due to statistical data packet collisions in asynchronous telemetry by digitally encoding each sensor according to a particular address scheme where each address is one function from an infinite set of mathematically orthogonal functions, enabling a simultaneous detection from up to ten thousand points without interference at a common receiver.

Abstract: The invention provides a highly versatile system to promote vascularization in ischemic tissue. The system is composed of a fully defined, customizable hydrogel loaded with a potent cocktail of proangiogenic growth factors. The hydrogel's mechanical, degradation, and factor release behavior can be tailored to the specifications of any given target tissue or ischemic disease state. The growth factor cocktail can be optimized for maximal vessel density or size to meet the perfusion specifications required by the tissue. The embodiments of the disclosure concern methods and compositions of the system, with examples of preparation for both injectable and implantable delivery modes.

Abstract: The invention provides enhancer RNAs (eRNAs) that are expressed specifically in glioma stem cells and whose expression correlates with decreased survival of patients with glioblastomas. The eRNAs are selected, for example, from eTMEM88b, eRTP5, or eNINJ1. The invention also provides an RNA therapy that targets glioma stem cell eRNAs using synthetic oligonucleotides that knock out the eRNA expression. The invention further provides viral vectors that deliver shRNA that inhibit the expression of the eRNA.

The substantially gas stream is sent directly from the final stage reactor and separator to further downstream processing.
Abstract: A patient communication system comprises a hand-held data input subsystem and a display subsystem. The data input subsystem may be configured to sense, and wirelessly convey, information associated with 3-D movement of the data input subsystem, and actuation of a signaling element within the data input subsystem. The display subsystem may receive the information and to present a visual representation of the information in a graphical user interface (GUI). The display subsystem may adaptively interpret the information with respect to range of motion sensitivity and orientation of the data input subsystem, and movement of the data input subsystem with respect to its prior state. The system may map the conveyed information to the GUI, generate and display images on the GUI with which a patient may interact by manipulating the data input subsystem, and capture one or more selections executed by the patient through actuation of the signaling element.
