  • Patent number: 11457010
Abstract: A sending device may send data intended for a target device. An intermediate device may intercept the data sent from the sending device and forward the communications to the target device. Security data (e.g., a security certificate for authentication) along with an encrypted version of the security data may be sent at the application layer such that it passes from the sending device, through the intermediate device, and to the target device without being analyzed or modified by the intermediate device. The target device may use the encrypted security data and the security data to verify the identity of the sending device.

  • Patent number: 11455876
Abstract: Methods are disclosed that, in some aspects, provide detecting an alarm event, determining whether the alarm event is a deviation from predefined criteria, and transmitting an alert notification to users of the security system if the alarm event is a deviation from the predefined criteria. The predefined criteria may relate to the location or type of one or more sensors of the security system, the location of users of the security system, the time of day, activities within the premises, and/or behavioral patterns of the users learned by the security system. Information transmitted in the alert notification may relate to the location of one or more users of the security system, the data recorded by one or more sensors of the security system, the state of alert of the security system, and/or confidential information required to terminate the alarm event.

  • Patent number: 11457251
Abstract: Disclosed are various systems and methods for fault tolerant video packaging and transmission. A video packager may receive one or more video content transmissions from a transcoder, and may identify deficient segments, packets, or other portions of the video content transmission. The video packager may also maintain or have access to a default video output that is free of the identified deficiencies. For example, the default video output can include one or more segments of video data comprising a blank or solid color frame, or a still image. The deficient data may be determined based on validation parameters. If the validation parameters are satisfied, the received data is packaged and transmitted. Otherwise, the default video output is packaged to replace deficient portions, and transmitted instead of the received video content.

  • Patent number: 11451806
Abstract: An example method can comprise receiving an encoding parameter associated with a first content transmission. The encoding parameter can indicate a level of complexity to encode the first content transmission. The method can comprise selecting, based on the encoding parameter, a second content transmission. The second content transmission can be encoded at a second bit rate that is different than a first bit rate of the first content transmission. The method can also comprise generating a third content transmission. The third content transmission can comprise the second content transmission.

  • Patent number: 11443603
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for the detection, following a trigger event, of a device that may be sending and/or receiving signals within a space associated with a wireless network. A wireless signal receiver may be activated and may identify the device by detecting transmissions from the device, such as WiFi, Bluetooth, cellular or other wireless transmissions. The wireless signal receiver may extract, without connecting the device to a local network, information from the transmission that may identify the device. The wireless signal receiver may send the information to an alarm monitor and may be placed in a dormant state.
