A base station may use a signaling format to indicate a transmission power command and a preemption indicator. A wireless device may receive the signaling format and may determine, based on the transmission power command and the preemption indicator, whether to stop a transmission or to reduce a transmission power.

Abstract: An encoder (e.g., a Versatile Video Coding (VVC) encoder, etc.) may make real-time encoding decisions to vary a bitrate of a content item (e.g., high-resolution video, streaming content, a movie, a show/program, etc.) by upsampling and/or downsampling portions (e.g., frames/slices, group of pictures (GOP), coding units (CU), coding tree units (CTU), etc.) based on a cost function that utilizes a versatile Lagrangian multiplier (denoted as ?v to denote the versatility). The versatile Lagrangian multiplier may not only account for the effects of quantization (e.g., a quantization parameter (QP), etc.) on portions of the content item, instead, the versatile Lagrangian multiplier may also be based on adjustment parameters associated with content resolution and/or playback quality of experience (QoE).

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for monitoring device data and/or gateway data. Devices may be connected to a network via a gateway device. Data transmitted and/or received by one or more of the devices may be captured and monitored to determine various parameters associated with the one or more devices. Data associated with the gateway device may also be captured and monitored. Signal strengths, device statuses, network security, and/or other metrics may be determined based on monitored data.

Abstract: A primary internet connection via a gateway or router located at a premises may be used to route internet traffic from devices located at the premises. A change in the primary internet connection, such as a loss or a degradation of the connection, may occur. Based on the change in the primary internet connection, metrics of alternative internet connections, such as cellular or hotspot connections, may be used to select one of the alternative internet connections. Internet traffic may be routed via the selected alternative internet connection until the primary internet connection is reestablished or improves.

Abstract: Wireless resource determination and use are described. A wireless device may determine to use a resource (e.g., PUCCH resource), indicated by control information (e.g., DCI), for sending an acknowledgement (e.g., HARQ-ACK feedback) of a reception of data (e.g., at least one transport block). The control information may be received in a message of a plurality of messages. The wireless device may select the control information (e.g., for determining the resource) from among other control information in the plurality of messages, based on one or more factors.

Abstract: Methods and systems for using text data in content presentation and content search are disclosed. Text data and a plurality of video frames can be extracted from a content program and stored in a database. Extracted text data can be divided into a plurality of text segments. The plurality of text segments and the plurality of video frames can be presented in the form of an electronic book or guide. In addition, the content program can be divided into a plurality of content segments and stored in the database. The plurality of content segments and the plurality of text segments can be associated by time indices. A user can identify one or more content segments in the database by a query, and notifications can be sent according to the query.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing an authenticated groupcast stream of content to destination receivers are disclosed. A method may include receiving information indicating that a media capturing source(s) located at a premises and destination receivers are included in a group. Content captured from a media capturing source(s) may be received. The content may include an image(s)/video(s) and a destination network address associated with the destination receivers. The content may be copied. The number of copies of content may correspond to a number of the destination receivers. A respective copy of the content may be sent to the destination receivers.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for displaying additional or targeted content to a user are disclosed. An image or data capture device associated with a display device may capture an image of an environment associated with the user or capture data related to what is being viewed by the viewer's eyes. Objects in the captured image may be recognized, and additional content may be provided based on presence or absence of recognized objects.

Abstract: Various implementations described herein are directed to determining variations or changes to a predetermined programming schedule. In accordance with one method, a predicted end time of video content may be determined to be later than a scheduled end time of the video content. Also, it may be determined that video content scheduled to be displayed on a first stream or channel has been moved to a second stream or channel. A scheduled recording or transmission time of video content may be altered based on detected changes to the predetermined programming schedule. A program listing such as an electronic program guide may be revised based on detected changes to the predetermined programming schedule.

Abstract: An interface device may provide a first wireless network and a second wireless network in a user's premise. The interface device may encourage some user devices to connect to the second wireless network without controlling the user devices. For example, the interface device may receive a request from a device to access its first wireless network. The interface device may then determine whether the device is a premise device by, for example, searching a database of device registration information. The interface device may determine that the device is a premise device and deny the request to access the first wireless network. The device may then be available to access the second wireless network.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for device routing management are disclosed. A client device of a wireless network may roam from a first access point to a second access point of the wireless network. The second access point, or the client device itself, may send a network message indicating the client device is currently being served by the second access point. The message may cause a network mapping stored at the first access point and/or at each device associated with the wireless network to be updated to indicate the client device is associated with the second access point, thereby enabling proper routing of network traffic to the client device via the second access point.

Abstract: At least one device can be classified based on user activity. At least one telemetry variable with respect to time may be received for the at least one device. The at least one telemetry variable with respect to time may be used to determine an activity model for the at least one device. Based on the activity model, a probability of the at least one device belonging to a profile or to a type of user may be determined. Based on the type of user of the at least one device, a setting associated with the at least one device may be changed.

Abstract: Beam determination and beam activation may be used in wireless communications. An initial (e.g., default) TCI state pool, of a plurality of TCI state pools, may be used to receive one or more messages indicating a second TCI state pool for communicating signals between a wireless device and a base station. The one or more messages may comprise an indication of a TCI state pair (e.g., an uplink TCI state and a downlink TCI state) of the second TCI state pool.

Abstract: A system may selectively deliver interactive portions of a piece of content, based for example on a recipient user's historical tendency to use interactive portions of prior content. Multiple levels of interactivity may be defined for a given piece of content, such as an advertisement, and different users may receive different levels of interactivity based on how much they use interactive features. Some users may receive no interactive features at all, while others may receive the interactive features, and despite the fact that all of the users' devices may be perfectly capable of processing the interactive features for the user. The omission from transmission may conserve bandwidth and transmission resources.

Abstract: Wireless devices may receive channel state information (CSI) measurement resources for a plurality of cells, including cells of a first transmission point and cells of a second transmission point. The wireless device may measure CSI for each cell, and may quantize the measured CSI jointly across the cells. The wireless device may send the jointly quantized CSI to a base station, and the jointly quantized CSI may be used in communications via the first transmission point and the second transmission point.

An immersive experience for users may be provided by mapping what the users are watching into functionalities of the user devices. Manifest files may comprise information determined for audio and/or video features of segments of audiovisual content. The manifest files may be used by secondary user devices to output visual effects in synchronization with output of audiovisual content by a primary user device.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described for optimizing user content consuming experience by recognizing and classifying different sounds while a user views a program. The system may have or may access information related to the program audio being presented, enabling it to distinguish between conversations occurring in the program audio and conversations between users in the viewing environment. The system may turn the program volume down on one or more sound producing devices if it detects a conversation. The system may turn the program volume up if it detects an interrupting noise. The system may also adjust the program content based on locations of various objects within the listening or viewing environment, and types of users in the environment.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing services are disclosed. One method can comprise receiving data having a first format and transmitting the data to a first device. The method may also comprise detecting a second device, automatically recognizing a supported second format of the detected second device, converting the data to the second format, and transmitting the converted data to the second device via wireless communication.
