Abstract: A computing device may receive a request to store a content segment(s). The request may include an estimated storage size. The computing device may determine a plurality of storage devices based on an estimated capacity of each of the storage devices to store the content segment(s). The computing device may cause each of the storage devices to allocate storage for the content segment(s). The allocated storage may be tracked and/or retrieved based on location metadata indicative of the allocated storage that may be stored at a cache and/or metadata repository.

Abstract: Wireless devices may communicate with each other, for example, via sidelink. A wireless device may request reference signals from another wireless device to determine a new beam to prevent beam failure of wireless communications. A base station may send beam information for sidelink communications to assist a wireless device in recovering from a beam failure.

Abstract: A wireless device may determine a transmission power for uplink signal transmission following completion of a beam failure recovery procedure. Transmission power determination may be based on a power control parameter set as selected by the wireless device. Selection of the power control parameter set may be based on a beam failure detection (BFD) set, of a plurality of configured BFD sets, associated with the beam failure recovery procedure and/or based on a transmission and reception point (TRP) associated with the uplink signal transmission.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for improved content recording and playback are described herein. A user device may concurrently record and output a content item. For example, the user device may be associated with a recording session. A session index may identify the recording session and indicate the user device is concurrently recording and outputting the content item. The session index may be used to ensure that a manifest for the content item is continuously updated.

Abstract: A device, system and method are provided that may allot and manage bandwidth, such as bandwidth associated with broadcast and narrowcast distribution models for content item transmission, for example, in a content distribution network. The device, system and method may manage transmission based on the output information of the content items.

The classification marker may be encoded in high-frequency sounds. One or more setting may be associated with the classification marker (e.g., objectionable, confusing, traumatic, dangerous, etc.). Abstract: Methods and systems for implementing a moving target defense are described. The moving target defense can comprise obfuscating a protocol identifier within a packet. The protocol identifier can be replaced with a faux protocol identifier. Additionally, diversion headers can be inserted into to the packet, thereby creating additional layers of complexity.

Abstract: A method is described for obtaining and using viewership data to determine relationships between previous viewership of an episodic program and viewership of future episodes of the program. Aggregating the data may comprise determining missing data points and predicting substitute data points based on past viewership data for the individual viewer and a plurality of other viewers. Data may be presented to the user in a number of ways to aid in analysis and planning of likely viewership for a season of a television program. Data may be used to optimize advertising revenues, plan television lineups to maximize a number of likely viewers, or allocate content and resources between broadcast and video-on-demand.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus are described herein for enhanced conferencing. A computing device monitor user participation. The computing device may modify conferencing parameters based on the user participation. By monitoring device and user participation, modifying conferencing parameters may be aimed at increasing or decreasing participation by a user or users.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices relating to video stream signal analysis are described herein. In a method, a first video stream configured with a first plurality of signals associated with inserting content may be determined. The first plurality of signals may be extracted from the first video stream and temporally compressed. A second video stream may be configured with the compressed first plurality of signals. Based on whether the compressed first plurality of signals caused any errors in processing the second video stream, it may be determined whether the uncompressed first plurality of signals are expected to cause any errors in processing the first video stream configured with the uncompressed first plurality of signals.

Abstract: A wireless device may communicate with a base station to report a listen-before-talk (LBT) result. The wireless device may not perform a sidelink transmission via a sidelink resource, for example, based on an LBT procedure. The wireless device may send an LBT result indication to the base station based on a result of the LBT procedure.

Abstract: Methods and systems for improved content encoding are described herein. An encoder may allocate a time budget for encoding each frame of a content item. When the encoder takes longer than the allocated time budget to encode at least a portion of a given frame(s) of the content item at a first resolution, the encoder may take a number of actions in order to allow the encoder to “catch up,” such as encoding frames at a second resolution. Once the encoder catches up and the allocated time budget is not being exceeded, the encoder may resume encoding frames of the content item at the first resolution.

Abstract: A wireless device may receive a message indicating that it is to switch cells, such as in a handover process, and the wireless device may take steps to switch cells. The time needed for making the switch can depend on, for example, the time it takes the wireless device to process that message, and different types of messages (e.g., messages at a media access control—MAC—layer) may be processed more quickly than others. A wireless device may quickly cancel a triggered power headroom report (PHR) procedure for an old cell, and trigger a PHR for a new cell, based on receiving such a message. The canceling and/or triggering may be performed even without resetting a MAC entity of the wireless device.

A DNS query may be received with a token identifying an originating computing device. The DNS query may be compared to a list of domain names associated with particular characteristics, such as having malware. The token may be used to identify the originating computing device and perform further actions.

Abstract: Systems and methods for managing network communication are disclosed. Methods and systems can comprise receiving a telephony message having a source address and determining routing information using the source address. A telephony call may be routed using the determined routing information. Such processing may be implemented to route telephony calls to certain services such as accessibility services based on at least the source address of a telephony message.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described herein for improved processing audio in a video stream. A system may split audio in a frame of video content into multiple bands based on their audio levels. The system may then dynamically compress and dynamically normalize the audio level in each band. When dynamically compressing the bands, the system may determine, based on stored information, what audio level range is acceptable for an end user and may smooth and maintain the ranges of the audio to be within the acceptable range. The system may include the dynamically normalized and dynamically compressed frames as a second audio track in the video content. A computing device receiving the video content may select the second audio track during playback. If an end user selects the second audio track, the video is delivered with the modified sound of the second audio track.
