Abstract: A device (e.g., a security device, a video doorbell, a security camera, etc.) may receive an input voltage and based on the input voltage may determine the input power available to the device. The device may access various power level requirements associated with one or more functional components associated with the device. The device may then determine one or more functional components to activate or set to an active status on the device based on the input power available to the device, component power level requirements for one or more of the functional components, and other factors such as priority levels and preferences.

Abstract: Encoding and/or decoding a block of a video frame may be based on a previously decoded reference block in the same frame or in a different frame. The reference block may be indicated by a block vector (BV). The BV may be encoded as difference between a block vector predictor (BVP) and the BV. The BVP may be adjusted to improve prediction accuracy of the BVP.

Abstract: A plurality of resource pools and/or a plurality of transmission and/or reception points may be used in wireless communications. Different pathloss references may be used for different resource pools and/or different transmission and/or reception points. A wireless device may receive one or more messages indicating a plurality of power control parameter sets each associated with a respective resource pool and/or a respective transmission and/or reception point. The wireless device may control a transmission power based on a pathloss reference associated with a resource pool and/or a transmission and/or reception point.

Abstract: Methods and systems for managing communications among network devices are disclosed. An example method can comprise determining a time window for transmission based on a scheduling protocol. The scheduling protocol can specify time windows for using corresponding wireless protocols to transmit signals. Different wireless protocols can be associated with different time windows and different devices. A device can prevent transmissions during the time window, thereby allowing other devices to provide transmissions during the time window according to the scheduling protocol.

Abstract: Wireless communications using multiple active resources (e.g., bandwidth parts (BWP)) are described. A predetermined rule may be used to determine on which downlink (DL) BWP of multiple active DL BWPs, and/or on which uplink (UL) BWP of multiple active UL BWPs, a message is to be sent. A wireless device and/or a base station may reduce the quantity of active DL BWPs and/or active UL BWPs to monitor for a response.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described for fault tolerant network storage and delivery of recorded content. Two or more network digital video recorders may each receive a plurality of requests to record, archive, and/or play back content items, such as television programs. Each network digital video recorder may receive capacity reports of statistics such as storage and/or bandwidth from one or more other network digital video recorders. At least one of the network digital video recorders may determine whether, based on a network capacity, to record, archive, and/or playback content items. The methods, systems, and apparatuses may accommodate equipment failures that lead to partitions between network digital video recorders.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices relating to data forwarding in a content delivery network are described herein. In a method, a cache server may receive a request for a first data object from a client device. The cache server may request for and receive the first data object from an origin server. The cache server may determine one or more rules, implemented at the Internet or transport layer of the cache server, configured to cause future data object(s), associated with the first data object, to be forwarded to the client device via the Internet or transport layer, as the case may be. The one or more rules may be additionally or alternatively configured to cause the future data object(s) to be sent to an application layer of the cache server for potential storage at the cache server.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for determining locations for range-extending devices. Signal strength between devices within an area may be measured one or more times over a time period. Based on the measurements, signal loss over fronthaul links and backhaul links may be determined for each range-extending device in the area. A predicted improvement in signal quality may be determined. A direction and distance to move each range-extending device may be determined based on a comparison with the fronthaul and backhaul signal qualities and the predicted improvement in signal quality. The direction, improvement in signal quality, and/or user preferences for devices may be used to determine an improvement associated with moving one or more range-extending devices.

Abstract: Transmission repetition may be used in wireless communications. Control channel repetition may be used for scheduling communications between a base station and a wireless device. A time period between the control channel and the scheduled communications may be less than a threshold time period. The wireless device may determine, for communicating with the base station, a wireless resource corresponding to a default resource pool, a resource pool used for at least one repetition of the control channel, and/or based on a resource pool indicated via the control channel.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for wireless communications. A base station may transmit, to a wireless device, a DCI format comprising a downlink BWP indicator, an uplink BWP indicator, a PDSCH resource allocation, and a PUCCH resource allocation for HARQ ACK transmission. The wireless device may select, from a plurality of uplink active BWPs of the cell, an uplink active BWP based on the uplink BWP indicator. The wireless device may transmit the HARQ ACK via the selected uplink active BWP.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed that, in some aspects, provide an opening mechanism comprising an interior and an exterior door handle and sensors to detect movement of each door handle. A door position sensor may be provided. An alarm module for generating an alarm may be connected to at least one of the sensors. A method may include receiving a door handle actuation signal, determining whether the door handle actuation signal is from an inside door handle or an outside door handle and performing a function. One or more methods include determining an event, including an attempted entry, a forced entry and an incomplete entry.

Abstract: System and methods for enhancing user productivity by integrating multiple services and providing a centralized output to a user is disclosed. A message notification server may receive store a set of notification rules and, as various notifications are received, the server may dynamically monitor them for processing to users. The system may automatically re-rank the notifications based on changed conditions or to present messages of greatest urgency or importance. The system may also store sender-specific sets of rules, governing how notifications are to be handled for different application servers or services.

Abstract: Wireless resources may be determined for communications between wireless devices. A wireless device may select resources based on measuring one or more channels (e.g., associated with sidelink transmission, feedback transmission, etc.). Resource selection may comprise exclusion of certain resources being used for other communications and/or exclusion or selection of resources based on one or more priorities.

One aspect comprises authenticating a user associated with a first service, receiving a selection of a second service, generating an opaque identifier associated with the user and the first service, wherein the opaque identifier facilitates the anonymous collection of data relating to the second service. Abstract: A method and system may allow for authenticating a computing device. A computing device may send an authentication request over a network to an authentication computing device. The authentication request may include a user name and a password. The user name may include a credential and the password may be a digitally signed version of the user name. The authentication computing device may authenticate the requesting computing device by decrypting the password and comparing the received user name to the decrypted password.

Abstract: A wireless device receives message(s) comprising configuration parameters of a plurality of cells for communication with a base station. The message(s) comprise a first information element (IE) indicating a new extended power headroom report is configured. The first IE is configured as setup when: a secondary cell is configured with a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) and a second IE indicates that a power headroom report is configured as setup. The wireless device transmits a media-access-control (MAC) packet comprising one or more power headroom reports.
