Abstract: The invention relates to a shaped vegetarian meat product comprising: a) 30-80 wt. % water; b) 5-35 wt. % oil, said oil having a solid fat content at 20 degrees Celsius (N20) of at least 1.5%; c) 2-25 wt. % protein selected from algal protein, bacterial protein, dairy protein, egg protein, fungal protein, plant protein, and combinations thereof; d) 0-40 wt. % of one or more particulate ingredients selected from herbs, spices, vegetables and combinations thereof; wherein the vegetarian meat product contains at least 4 vol. % of oil droplets having an equivalent spherical diameter in the range of 100 micrometer to 1,000 micrometer as determined by means of micro computed tomography. This shaped vegetarian meat product has a very attractive juicy appearance and texture.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for coating large area solid substrates with metal based alloys or compounds by contacting the substrate surface with an unoxidised metal powders formed by in situ reaction of a metal halide and a reducing agent. The method is suitable for coating large area substrates such as flakes, powder, beads, and fibres with metal based alloys or compounds starting from low-cost chemicals such as metal chlorides. The method is particularly suited for production of substrates coated with metals, alloys and compounds based on Zn, Sn, Ag, Co, V, Ni, Cr, Fe, Cu, Pt, Pd, Ta, Nb, Rh, Ru, Mo, Os, Re and W.
Abstract: A hybrid computer comprising a quantum processor can be operated to perform a scalable comparison of high-entropy samplers. Performing a scalable comparison of high-entropy samplers can include comparing entropy and KL divergence of post-processed samplers. A hybrid computer comprising a quantum processor generates samples for machine learning. The quantum processor is trained by matching data statistics to statistics of the quantum processor. The quantum processor is tuned to match moments of the data.

Abstract: A cutting tool for cutting flexible building materials, such as, for example, rubber or vinyl baseboards, chair rails and crown molding, at an angle. Abstract: A horseshoe shaped personal flotation device is buoyant and can be used in a number or positions to float a person on the water and retain a beverage. The horseshoe shaped flotation device has a left and right armrest that extend out from an arced shaped closed end and dual cup holder, on the extended end of the armrest, has an cup cylinder to retain a beverage in the vertical orientation and an end cup holder to retain a beverage in an orthogonal orientation to the cup cylinder. The flotation device can be used in an underarm-floating configuration and a beverage can be retained in the cup cylinder, or used in a saddle, hammock or back floating configuration with a beverage retained in the end cup holder. The flotation device can be extended to spread the left and right armrest apart for some flotation methods.
