Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel genotype of severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome viruses and use thereof as an immunogenic composition. The severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome viruses of the present invention are genetically different from conventional severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome viruses and are novel viruses taxonomically belonging to three sub-groups of genotype B. In view of the vaccine property that specific genotype viruses alone show only limited protective potential, the novel viruses of the present invention may be advantageously used as a vaccine having excellent cross-immunogenicity for SFTSV.

Abstract: Various techniques and apparatus permit fabrication of superconductive circuits and structures, for instance Josephson junctions, which may, for example be useful in quantum computers. For instance, a low magnetic flux noise trilayer structure may be fabricated having a dielectric structure or layer interposed between two elements or layers capable of superconducting. A superconducting via may directly overlie a Josephson junction. A structure, for instance a Josephson junction, may be carried on a planarized dielectric layer. A fin may be employed to remove heat from the structure. A via capable of superconducting may have a width that is less than about 1 micrometer. The structure may be coupled to a resistor, for example by vias and/or a strap connector.

Abstract: A fiber optic shelving system includes a shelf including a plurality of holes, a plurality of fiber optic filaments, each of the plurality of fiber optic filaments having a first end and a second end, and the first end being coupled to one of the plurality of holes, a first camera configured to capture an image of the terminal surfaces of the plurality of fiber optic filaments, and a second camera configured to capture an image of a side of one or more products on the shelf. The fiber optic shelving system identifies, among the plurality of holes, a set of holes that are blocked from light based on the captured image of terminal surfaces of the second ends of the plurality of fiber optic filaments, and determines a number of products on the shelf based on the identified set of holes blocked from light and the captured image of the side of one or more products on the shelf.

Abstract: Provided in the present invention are a di-substituted maleic amide linker conjugated to an antibody and a preparation method and use thereof. In particular, the present invention conjugates a strongly cytotoxic active substance to a biomacromolecule through a class of new linkers. The class of linkers can selectively act simultaneously with disulphide chains, so as to greatly improve the substance homogeneity of a conjugate. The conjugate prepared by the linker of the present invention has a high inhibitory activity on a cell strain expressing the corresponding antigen. Also provided is a method for preparing the above-mentioned conjugate and the use.
Abstract: According to some embodiments, a method of accessing an intervertebral space of a patient's spine in a minimally invasive manner compromises creating a passage from a posterior end of a pedicle of a vertebral member using a probe, advancing the probe through the pedicle and to a main body portion of the vertebral member, advancing the probe through a superior endplate of the vertebral member and into the intervertebral space and enlarging the passage using at least one tap to create an enlarged passage from a posterior of the pedicle to the intervertebral space. In some embodiments, the enlarged passage traverses at least three cortical layers of the vertebral member.
Abstract: The invention is directed to systems, methods and apparatus for securing documents.
