Abstract: A portable device is shown for transporting asphalt repair materials for use in repairing potholes in asphalt pavements. The device has a body with a hopper compartment for transporting and dispensing asphalt mix materials. Emulsion oils are held and dispensed from a separate emulsion oil tank. An emulsion pump provides emulsion oils to a spray wand. The emulsion oil tank includes an emulsion rejuvenator apparatus which works to prevent separation of the emulsion oils. A control circuit actuates the rejuvenator any time that the emulsion pump is turned on to supply emulsion oils to a spray wand to spray emulsions onto the road repair site.

The connector can include a plurality of connector pins, with the pins capable of passing signals and messages from the vehicle's on board diagnostic system to a device in electrical communication with the connector. The connector can also include a connection retention component. The connection retention component can be configured to maintain a connection between male connectors and female connection ports by interfering with a protruding portion of the female connection port.

Abstract: An exercise device includes a housing and one or more receptacles for receipt of a jointed body part, positioned to the outside of the housing, wherein each of the receptacles is biased toward the housing and independently repositionable away from the housing against a substantially constant bias force at all positions relative to the housing. In the disclosed finger exercising embodiment the housing includes a base defining a front surface for engagement with the fingers during retraction of the finger receptacles and an inner surface over which the cords pass toward the finger receptacles. The working solution is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 100 parts of waste drilling fluids, 50-100 parts of slag, 5-50 parts of red mud, 4-7 parts of a suspension stabilizer, 1-7 parts of an activating aid, 0.5-5 parts of an anti-pollution agent and 0.4-3.5 parts of a diluent. The waste drilling fluids are waste waterborne drilling fluids. The slag is blast furnace slag or vanadium-titanium slag. The suspension stabilizer is sodium bentonite, carboxymethyl cellulose or a mixture of sodium bentonite and carboxymethyl cellulose. The activating aid is sodium metasilicate nonahydrate, sodium carbonate or a mixture of sodium metasilicate nonahydrate and sodium carbonate. The anti-pollution agent is sodium salicylate, potassium citrate or a mixture of sodium salicylate and potassium citrate. The diluent is sodium lignin sulfonate.

Comprehensive original vehicle data is obtained from vehicle manufacturers via a vehicle source interface, the data including a unique vehicle identifier for each of one or more vehicles associated with the respective source. A vehicle information request with a vehicle identifier is received from a client, and comprehensive original vehicle data is identified based on the unique identifier and the identifier from the client request. A client response interface displays vehicle data from the identified set of comprehensive original vehicle data. Vehicle valuation may be obtained from third party evaluators according to the vehicle request and based on the original vehicle data.

Abstract: A plurality of modular units are connected together on a slightly sloped drainage field with a perforated header pipe at the lower side conveying water away from the drainage system. An impermeable flexible liner cushioned on both sides is located below the modular units. The modular units are each made up of rigid boxes that have connecting cross slots at the bottom thereof and vertical perforations there through. The rigid boxes are lined with a drainage fabric that is site specific and have an expanded geosynthetic material therein, which is held in place when filled with porous granular material. High flexural strength mats are connected together over the tops of the modular units. An air inlet pipe connects air to the cross slots, down the sloped drainage field, to the header pipe to drain water from the bulk granular material resting on the high flexural strength mats.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods are described including successively acquiring a plurality of microscopic images of a portion of a blood sample, and tracking motion of pixels within the successively acquired microscopic images. Trypomastigote parasite candidates within the blood sample are identified, by identifying pixel motion that is typical of trypomastigote parasites. It is determined that the blood sample is infected with trypomastigote parasites, at least partially in response thereto. An output is generated indicating that that the blood sample is infected with trypomastigote parasites. Other applications are also described.

Methods for modulating expression of MECP2 using the single stranded oligonucleotides are also provided. In one aspect, an attachment apparatus is disclosed. In one embodiment, the attachment apparatus includes a coiled wire having an interference dimension. The coiled wire includes an attachment point for the attachment of a decorative item. In another embodiment, the attachment apparatus includes an extruded or injection molded tube of material. A pair of wires wraps around the tube of material in opposite direction, the pair of wires residing around an outside perimeter of the tube of material and entering into the tube of material where it exits at a bottom portion of the tube of material. In yet another embodiment, the attachment apparatus includes a woven textile having a crosshatch pattern associated therewith. In yet another embodiment, the attachment apparatus includes thin metal strips that collectively have a crosshatch pattern associated therewith.
