  • Publication number: 20210090468
Abstract: Tamper-evident features for containers. A tamper-evident film is target printed onto a sheet material that is thermoformable. The sheet is thermoformed into a container base or lid having a desired shape, such that the tamper-evident film is positioned in a desired area. A container lid is disposed on the container base, and heat sealed to a rim or edge of the container base. The heat sealing activates an adhesive of the tamper-evident film, and when the container lid is removed or separated from the container base, a first portion of the tamper-evident film remains on the container lid and a second portion remains on the container base. The separation of the tamper-evident film provides an indication of tampering.

  • Patent number: 10954687
Abstract: A method of installing a fence is provided including advancing a plurality of beams into the ground so that the beams achieve a substantially vertical orientation, and installing a plurality of tubular posts over the beams so that the posts automatically attain the substantially vertical orientation, without having to dispose any other levelling structures between the beams and the posts. One or more horizontal rails can be installed relative to adjacent beams and tubular posts. The tubular posts can define holes, and the opposing ends of a rail can be inserted through corresponding holes. Where the beams have longitudinal channels, the ends of the rails can project through the holes in the posts and into those channels. The tubular posts and/or rails can be secured in place with fasteners. The method provides an inexpensive and quick way to install a fence without digging holes for the beams.

  • Patent number: 10956818
Abstract: Systems and methods improve the performance of a network that has converged such that the gradient of the network and all the partial derivatives are zero (or close to zero) by splitting the training data such that, on each subset of the split training data, some nodes or arcs (i.e., connections between a node and previous or subsequent layers of the network) have individual partial derivative values that are different from zero on the split subsets of the data, although their partial derivatives averaged over the whole set of training data is close to zero. The present system and method can create a new network by splitting the candidate nodes or arcs that diverge from zero and then trains the resulting network with each selected node trained on the corresponding cluster of the data. Because the direction of the gradient is different for each of the nodes or arcs that are split, the nodes and their arcs in the new network will train to be different. Therefore, the new network is not at a stationary point.
