Abstract: A virtual entertainment system supports holographic display for multiple players. The system has multiple viewing screens, each screen displaying thematic events. Multiple carriages have seating supporting multiple audience members. A track system supports and directs the multiple carriages through a sequence of the multiple viewing screens. A processor accesses memory of more than one theme and multiple holographic data content related to a single theme to each of the video display screens. A theme selecting input system provides a signal identifying a single theme for display to a single carriage as it moves along the track system. The processor identifies location of individual carriages with respect to individual viewing screens. The processor provides thematic content of the single identified theme to the at least two players in the individual respective ones of the multiple carriages. The theme may be gaming activity and include gaming input.

Abstract: Methods include inputting an array of pixels, where each pixel in the array of pixels has a pixel dose. The array of pixels represents dosage on a surface to be exposed with a plurality of patterns, each pattern of the plurality of patterns having an edge. A target bias is input. An edge of a pattern in the plurality of patterns is identified. For each pixel which is in a neighborhood of the identified edge, a calculated pixel dose is calculated such that the identified edge is relocated by the target bias. The array of pixels with the calculated pixel doses is output. Systems for performing the methods are also disclosed.

Abstract: The invention refers to a method for recovering copper from waste fishing nets. The method of the invention includes washing of nets in a washing liquid, wherein an antifouling coating and other impurities are removed from the surface of the nets to a largest extent possible. The washing liquid is water; NaOH can also be added into the water in order to improve the efficiency of washing, such that the NaOH concentration in the water is up to 20%. The suspension of the washing liquid, sludge and other impurities, resulting from the washing step, is led to a separation step. The sludge obtained in the separation step is led to the dissolution step in an acidic medium. A strong mineral acid is selected as the acidic medium, such as H2SO4, HNO3, HCl, a mixture of strong mineral acids or a mixture of one or several strong mineral acids with H2O2.
Abstract: A method for identifying an IP camera and enhancing transmission quality by packet transmission based on the ONVIF specifications is applied to a gateway device configured for data transmission to and from at least one IP camera and a network video recorder according to the ONVIF specifications. The gateway device sends a Probe packet to the IP camera after receiving therefrom a Hello packet, analyzes a ProbeMatch packet from the IP camera to identify the IP camera, relays a Resolve packet from the network video recorder to the IP camera in order to receive audiovisual data from the IP camera, and adds an exclusive group code (e.g., VLAN ID) and the highest transmission speed classification (e.g., Quality of Service) to the received audiovisual data to distinguish the audiovisual data from other network packets and give higher priority of transmission to the audiovisual data.
Abstract: A method for the reduction of motion artifacts in CT imaging, the method including the steps of: (a) reconstructing from the raw CT data an initial estimate of the object of interest; (b) estimating the pose of the object at each projection angle; (c) undertaking a motion-corrected reconstruction from the measured projections, accounting for the pose changes estimated in (b) by employing a modified source/detector orbit that accounts for the object motion; (d) iterating steps (b)-(c) until a predetermined convergence criterion is met; and (e) making a final reconstruction of the required image size using the pose estimates obtained in the previous steps.
