Abstract: An arm support assembly includes an armrest and connecting assembly. The armrest may meet regulatory or industry standards and is maneuverable into a variety of positions, including seated, blood pressure reading, supping or lying, and stowed or patient transfer positions. The armrest may be padded and/or upholstered. The connecting assembly includes first and second joints each selectively rotatable and an elongate member connecting them. The first joint rotatably mounts to the armrest, and the second joint mounts to the side of an examination device such as a table or chair. The joints include a rotary mechanism to engage between locked and unlocked positions, where rotational motion is enabled in unlocked positions. Rotation at first and second joints collectively result in maneuvering the armrest between the various positions.

  • Publication number: 20200049970
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for analyzing a bodily sample are described. A microscope system acquires one or more microscope images of the bodily sample. A computer processor identifies, in the one or more images, at least one element as being a candidate of a given entity. The computer processor extracts, from the one or more images, at least one candidate-informative feature associated with the candidate of the given entity, and at least one sample-informative feature that is indicative of a characteristic of the bodily sample as a whole. The computer processor processes the candidate-informative feature in combination with the sample-informative feature, and generates an output upon the output device, in response thereto. • Patent number: 10560255
Abstract: A transponder communicates with a reader using active load modulation. The transponder includes a digital phase locked loop (DPLL), which, in operation, generates an active load modulation (ALM) carrier clock synchronized to carrier clock of the reader. Between transmission of data frames, the DPLL is placed in a lock mode of operation in which a feedback loop of the DPLL is closed. Within a transmitted data frame having a duration, the DPLL is placed, for the duration of the transmitted data frame, in a hold mode of operation in which the feedback loop is opened. A phase of the ALM carrier clock is adjusted at least once during the duration of the transmitted data frame.
