  • Publication number: 20110189961
Abstract: A data transmission method and apparatus based on motion identification are disclosed. The method includes detecting and identifying a change of a position status of a data transmission apparatus, detecting, by the data transmission apparatus, a target apparatus when the change of the position status is determined to be a predefined motion, and establishing, by the data transmission apparatus, a connection with the target apparatus and performing, by the data transmission apparatus, a data transmission, if the target apparatus is detected. The data transmission method does not operate through an interface, but can trigger a data transmission apparatus to detect a target apparatus and to perform a data transmission by only identifying a motion of the data transmission apparatus. Thus, the operation of data transmission can be simplified, and a user-friendly operation method can be achieved.

  • Publication number: 20110188456
Abstract: A system provides push-to-talk (PTT) or similar communication service via a radio access network providing wireless mobile packet data communications for mobile stations. A server distributes packets of digitized audio received from a broadcasting mobile station to one or more client devices of other parties. The called client device(s), however, may not all have the same communications capabilities as the broadcasting mobile station. Signaling procedures are adapted to inform the broadcasting station of the capabilities of the other client device(s). This enables the broadcasting mobile station to configure its transmissions of digitized audio through the network for compatibility with the capabilities of the other client device(s). Proper configuration avoids loss of data at the destination, particularly at the start of a PTT transmission, due to transmission in a form or configuration that may be incompatible with one or more of the receiving stations.

Abstract: A localized area is at least partially contained within a perimeter of a shield ring formed by a closed superconducting current path of a material that is superconductive below a critical temperature. The shield ring is at least partially within a perimeter of a compensation coil that is coupled to a current source. One or more measurement devices are responsive to magnetic fields in the vicinity of the localized area, allowing compensation by controlling current to the compensation coil. A heater can raise temperature of the shield ring out of a superconducting condition.

  • Patent number: 7990930
Abstract: A HRPD network access authentication method based on CAVE algorithm is provided. An AT (Access Terminal) generates a random number “RAND” necessary for a calculation of an AUTH1 by using a “Random text” included in the CHAP Challenge message. A UIM (User Identity Module) card works out the AUTH1 by using the random number “RAND” and an SSD_A (Shared Secret Data A) in the UIM card. The AT carries the AUTH1 in a Result field of the CHAP Response message. An AN-AAA (Access Network-Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting) generates the random number “RAND” necessary for the calculation of an AUTH2 by using a “Random text” included in a Radius Access Request message. The AN-AAA works out the AUTH2 by using the random number “RAND”. The two results AUTH1 and AUTH2 are compared. If the results are the same, the authentication on the AT passes. Otherwise, AT access is rejected.

  • Publication number: 20110180943
Abstract: Anchor designs for thin film packages are disclosed that, in a preferred embodiment are a combination of SiGe-filled trenches and Si-oxide-filled spacing. Depending on the release process, additional manufacturing process steps are performed in order to obtain a desired mechanical strength. For aggressive release processes, additional soft sputter etch and a Ti—TiN interlayer in the anchor region may be added. The ratio of the total SiGe—SiGe anchor area to the SiO2—SiGe anchor area determines the mechanical strength of the anchor. If this ratio is larger than 1, the thin film package reaches the MIL-standard requirements.
