Abstract: The invention relates to an actuating member comprising an elastomer body that is provided with one electrode each on opposite peripheries. The aim of the invention is to improve the dynamism of such an actuating member. To this end, at least one periphery is provided with at least one waved section that comprises elevations and depressions as the extremes disposed in parallel to the cross direction. Said section is covered by an electrode that completely covers at least a part of the extremes and that extends across the waved section.

Abstract: The invention concerns a hydraulic steering with a steering motor arrangement having at least one steering motor, and with at least two steering circuits, each having a steering valve that interrupts a path from a pressure supply to the steering motor arrangement in the neutral position and releases a path from the pressure supply to the steering motor arrangement on a movement out of the neutral position. It is endeavoured to simplify the embodiment of such a steering. For this purpose, the steering valve (5a, 5b) has two end positions, one on each side of the neutral position, in which positions a path from the pressure supply (15, 21) to the steering motor arrangement (2) is interrupted.

Abstract: The invention concerns a motor starter circuit for an induction motor, particularly a single-phase AC induction motor, with a main winding (4) and an auxiliary winding (5) supplied with current, particularly AC, via current supply connections (24, 25), and with a starter switch arrangement (15), which serves the purpose of interrupting the current flow through the auxiliary winding (5) after the start of the motor, the starter switch arrangement (15) interacting with a measuring arrangement serving the purpose of measuring the voltage across the auxiliary winding (5).
Abstract: The invention concerns a hydraulic steering with a steering motor arrangement, a steering valve arrangement and a pressure supply comprising a first pump and a second pump. It is endeavoured to perform a change between the supplies by the pumps as unperceived as possible. For this purpose, the steering valve arrangement (4) is connected to the first pump (6) through a valve (8) with pressure compensation function and to the second pump (19) through a compensation valve (26).
Abstract: A holddown pin mechanism for hydraulic power units is a ball guide with a cylindrical flat base having a central opening, a plurality of spaced elongated holddown pins have one end rigidly secured to one side of said ball guide. The pins extend outwardly at right angles from the side of said washer to which they are secured. The holddown pin mechanism is placed in a hydraulic cylinder block having a center bore, with the pins extending into holes in the block. A flat washer on a shaft extending through the block engages the free ends of the pins.

Abstract: An electronic traction control system for a vehicle having multiple hydraulic driven wheels includes a plurality of digital displacement pumps, a plurality of drive systems having counterbalance valves and motors used to drive wheels, and electronic flow control valves used in association with each drive assembly. Additionally the system has a steering mechanism that is electrically connected to a digital sensor and a proportional sensor that sends signals to a system controller that operates the functioning of the digital displacement hydraulic pumps.
Abstract: An object comprising a body part having an electrically insulating outer surface part, and a first layer arranged on the outer surface part. The first layer is formed by one or more electrically conducting materials and defines one or more conducting paths between a first area of the outer surface part and a second area of the outer surface part. Thereby electrical signals may be transferred between the first and second area parts. The layer further defines a sensing device, which is thereby embedded into the object. The object is provided with a threaded portion defining an outer thread. Thereby the object may easily be fitted into an opening having a mating inner thread. The object may be in the form of an ordinary bolt with a sensing device embedded in a surface part thereof.

Abstract: The invention concerns a hydraulic steering (1) with a steering valve (7) located between a supply connection arrangement (P, T) and a steering motor (2). It is endeavoured to improve the safety of such a steering. For this purpose, the steering valve (7) has a hydraulic drive (9, 10) with a pilot valve arrangement (11) supplied by a pressure control valve (5), a stop valve (16) being located between the pressure control valve (5) and the pilot valve arrangement (11).

Abstract: The invention concerns a valve plate for a reciprocating compressor, the valve plate being made as a sintered part, having on at least one valve plate surface at least one valve seat surface (30, 31) being worked after sintering. In order to simplify the manufacturing of the valve plate, the valve plate surface has at least one defined area portion with a relatively uneven surface and at least one defined area portion with a relatively even surface.
Abstract: The invention concerns a hydraulic steering (1) with a steering motor (8), a steering unit (2) with feedback behaviour, a steering member activating the steering unit (2) and a shock valve arrangement (50) between the steering motor (8) and the steering unit (2). It is endeavoured to enable changes of the feedback behaviour in a simple manner. For this purpose it is ensured that a switchable feedback suppression device (9) is located at the side of the shock valve arrangement (50) facing away from the steering motor (8).

Abstract: A nozzle (100) for air-assisted atomizing of a liquid fuel comprises a fuel feed passage (110) and an air feed passage (114) and a swirling chamber (118) from which fuel and air may be passed to an exit orifice (126) for emerging a cone shaped spray. An air bypass passage (122) is provided for leading a fraction of the air flow in the air feed passage (114) past the swirling chamber (118) and to an air exit (124) arranged such with respect to the exit orifice (126) that, during operation of the nozzle, air emerging through the air exit (124) reduces depositing of residues of fuel on a downstream surface (130, 132, 136) of the nozzle element (108). Grooves or other flow-guiding elements may confer swirling or rotation of air in or downstream of the air feed passage (114) and/or the air bypass passage (122).
Abstract: The invention provides a fluid cooling system comprising a heat exchanger with an outer wall forming a chamber with an inlet and an outlet for circulating a heat exchange medium in the chamber. The chamber has an opening towards the component which is to be cooled, and to protect the component, the opening is closed by a flexible wall which is attached to the outer wall. To protect the cover and the component against overload, the flexible wall is attached to an inner wall inside the chamber. The cooling system could be applied to electronic systems, e.g. for cooling a DCB substrate or similar electronic components.
Abstract: A cooling medium compressor arrangement is comprised of a compressor, a control mechanism electrically connected with the compressor, and a gas sensor, and the safety of the arrangement is improved by arranging the control mechanism and the gas sensor in a common housing.
