Abstract: A data storage device comprises a disk; a head configured to read data from and write data to the disk; and a current balancer configured to receive a first voltage supply having a load limit and to receive a second voltage supply. The current balancer is further configured, to mitigate rotational vibration (RV) noise, to sample a first current IH5V drawn from the first voltage supply, to maintain a difference between the first current IH5V and a current balancer threshold parameter IThreshold to be at least twice a minimum peak current minCurrentLimitpk amount required for turn on of the current balancer (IH5V?IThreshold?2*minCurrentLimitpk), and to draw a second current from the second voltage supply to satisfy a part of a total load on the first voltage supply that exceeds the load limit.

Abstract: An energy storage system and a method for controlling the energy storage system, includes a plurality of energy storage units. The energy storage unit includes a plurality of battery cells, a plurality of balancing units, a voltage conversion unit, a first switch, a second switch, and a control unit. The control unit is configured to detect fault cases of the plurality of battery cells, and control open and closed states of the first switch and the second switch. According to the application, it can be ensured that each energy storage unit in the energy storage system can continuously work when a battery cell is faulty and when state of charge balance between battery cells is implemented, thereby greatly improving reliability of the energy storage system with low costs.

Abstract: New and innovative systems and methods for calibrating and correcting sensors associated with a collaborative robot are disclosed. An example system comprises: at least one robotic arm; a sensor affixed to a location on the robotic arm, wherein the sensor measures force and torque across six degrees of freedom (6DOF); a processor; and memory. The system may receive, from the sensor, sensor input in real-time that indicate a measured force or torque. Abstract: A temperature control apparatus and a temperature control system include at least one liquid storage device for storing liquid, at least two liquid supply devices, and a controller. Each liquid supply device is connected to the at least one liquid storage device through a first multiport valve to obtain liquid and is connected to a temperature regulating device through a second multiport valve. The controller is configured to control the first multiport valve and the second multiport valve that are connected to the controller to be conducted or not to be conducted. Abstract: A data storage device and method for delaying execution of a host write command to perform an internal memory operation. In one embodiment, a data storage device is provided comprising a memory with single-level cell (SLC) blocks and multi-level cell (MLC) blocks, as well as a controller. The controller is configured to store, in a queue, a plurality of write commands received from a host, wherein each write command is associated with a timeout window; determine how long each of the plurality of write commands has been pending in the queue; and for each write command, delay execution of the write command within the write command's timeout window until the write command has been pending in the queue for a specified amount of time, wherein delaying execution of each write command provides the controller with time to perform a memory operation to increase an amount of available SLC blocks in the memory. Abstract: A data storage device comprises a lead actuator that actuates a first read-write head over a first disk and a support actuator that actuates a second read-write head over a second disk. A spindle motor rotates the first and second disks. In response to an emergency power off (EPO) event, a processing device retracts and parks the actuators using an internal supply voltage generated from a back electromotive force (BEMF) voltage of the spindle motor, and brakes the spindle motor. The spindle motor is not braked until both the lead and support actuators have been retracted and parked.
Abstract: Devices and methods enable optimizing a signal of interest based on identifying and analyzing the signal of interest based on radio frequency energy measurements. Signal data is compared with stored data to identify the signal of interest. Signal degradation data is calculated based on noise figure parameters, hardware parameters and environment parameters. The signal of interest is optimized based on the signal degradation data. Terrain data is also operable to be used for optimizing the signal of interest.

Abstract: An energy storage cabinet includes a battery rack and a power conversion system. A switch unit is connected between a battery unit and the power conversion system. A first end of the power conversion system is connected to a bus. When an energy storage cabinet in the energy storage system is started, a voltage at the first end of the power conversion system is greater than a first preset voltage. The power conversion system in the to-be-started energy storage cabinet may obtain, through the first end, a voltage output by the started energy storage cabinet, convert the voltage into a target voltage, and then supply power to the start unit. After obtaining the power, the start unit controls the switch unit to be turned on. The battery unit may output stored electric energy through the power conversion system, to start the energy storage cabinet.
