Abstract: A exposure frame assembly for use with a contact and off contact photo exposure machine which includes a removable upper tray frame coupled to a lower tray frame. In use, a pair of pneumatically operated rams capture hinge pivot rollers mounted on the upper tray frame and actuate a pair of tray lift rollers which are also attached to the upper tray frame. In operation, the motion of the pneumatic ram act on the tray lift rollers to open the exposure frame assembly for access to the work-piece.
Abstract: A self-adhesive wrap-on handle grip for elongated handles such as those used in various types of implements such as sports racquets, baseball bats, handle bars, and the like includes an elongated preferably resilient material strip having a leading edge and a trailing edge and defining an undersurface and an outer surface. An elongated adhesive strip is formed upon the outer surface of the material strip in a narrow band adjacent the leading edge portion thereof. A peel-off protective strip is removably secured to the adhesive strip to facilitate handling and storage. During the wrapping process, the handle grip is helically wrapped upon the handle portion of a sports racquet such that the trailing edge of each wrapping layer overlies and is aligned with the underlying adhesive strip of the previous layer.

Abstract: In an elastic fluid turbine employing packing rings and spill strips or tip seals to minimize leakage between rotating and stationary components, an improvement in the packing rings and spill strips utilizing the combination of: interconnected first and second half parts, the first half part being disposed in an annular groove formed in a stationary component of the turbine, the second half part being partially disposed in a clearance area between the stationary and rotating components, the second half part having at least one seal tooth extending therefrom and contacting the rotating component, shims for selectively varying the spacing between the half parts for adjusting the sealing dimensions of the packing ring and seal strip, and bolts for interconnecting the half parts to form an integral, inseparable unit.
Abstract: A bleaching composition is described that includes a peroxygen compound such as sodium perborate, an oxygen transfer agent in the form of a quaternary imine salt and a bleach precursor. The quaternary imine salt at relatively low concentrations enhances the activity of the precursor. A method for bleaching substrates is also provided, especially a method for cleaning fabrics. The preferred quaternary imine salt has the structure: ##STR1## wherein: R.sup.4 may be a substituted or unsubstituted radical selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, aryl, heterocyclic ring, alkyl and cycloalkyl radicals;R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 may be a substituted or unsubstituted radical selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, aryl, heterocyclic ring, alkyl, cycloalkyl, nitro, halo, cyano, alkoxy, keto, carboxylic and carboalkoxy radicals; andX.sup.- is a counterion stable in the presence of oxidizing agents.

Abstract: An enhanced oil recovery technique for recovering hydrocarbons from a reservoir during gas injection comprises the at least periodic injection of gas and a foam-forming composition into the reservoir. The foam-forming composition comprises water, an effective foam-forming amount of a C.sub.10-16 .alpha.-olefin sulfonate surfactant including C.sub.10 AOS and/or C.sub.12 AOS, and an effective amount of at least one solubilizing component to increase the brine tolerance of the composition. This solubilizing component is a mixture comprising ##STR1## where M is H, an alkali metal, alkaline earth metal, or ammonium, where R.sub.1 is a linear C.sub.6 -C.sub.16 alkyl group. The method further comprises contacting the hydrocarbons in the reservoir with the foam so as to assist in the recovery of hydrocarbons from the reservoir.

Abstract: A unique and improved seed and fertilizer coulter-type drill is disclosed. The drill has a plurality of coulter wheels in four rows, the front two rows of coulters cut first furrows and deposit seed. The rear two rows of coulters cover the seed in the first cut furrows and produce a second set of furrows in which fertilizer is deposited, approximately 1 inch away from the seed. The two sets of coulters are followed by a plurality of press or packer wheels which ensure good seed to soil contact and cover the *remaining fertilizer furrows.

Abstract: An active rotary harrow is towed with its longitudinal horizontal axis at an acute angle relative to a line perpendicular to the direction of travel. A plurality of unitary tines are mounted by bolts or rivets on mounting plates which are secured to a shaft aligned along the horizontal axis. Each tine is made from spring steel which is flattened on one end, the flattened portion being mounted directly on the mounting plate by two or more fasteners. The tines are curved such that the outer end of the tine, being rounded in shape, is directed towards the trailing end of the harrow when in operation. The tines, and to a lesser extent, the mounting plates, are resilient in nature and can be deflected towards the trailing end of the harrow, when obstacles such as rocks are encountered. The tines are also capable of some pivotal deflection, to a lesser extent.
