Abstract: A liquid dispensing method and apparatus has a system with new individual dispensing heads connectible one each to a plurality of different liquid bottles, i.e. liquor, and a remote dispensing data receiver and computer that receives data from each head. Each head has structure for being secured to a bottle, a liquid bore and an air vent, and one or more of the following features and functions: an electronic dispensing timer, a stop pour annunciator, a magnetically latched dispensing control valve, an electronic bottle lock, a radio transmitter and antenna, an electronic fractional pour annunciator, programmable dispensing control, a micro-processor computer, a data storage, a data I/O structure, and structure and function for uniquely electrically identifying each head and liquid.

Abstract: The invention relates to the cementing of high temperature wells. A cement retarder comprises a phosphonic acid derivative combined with borax in a weight ratio of phosphonic acid derivative to borax of about 0.025 to about 0.2. A long pumping time is realized with rapid compressive strength development following placement.

Abstract: The present invention generally relates to a railway or railroad track joint, and more particularly, to an improved electrically insulated bonded rail joint incorporating a non-conductive spacer in or associated with a rail bonding adhesive. The present invention also relates to a method for bonding such electrically insulated rail joints. The present invention provides more control over the spacing of the adhesive layer to achieve a stronger joint and more predictable and stable electrical insulation of a track circuit with improved bonding.

Abstract: The invention relates to the cementing of high temperature wells. The retarder consists of a methylene phosphonic acid derivative and of a boric acid or a borate at least as acid as borax in an aqueous solution, in particular, Na pentaborate, in a preferred ratio of 0.08 to 0.92 parts by weight. A long setting time and a very swift compressive strength development are obtained at the same time.

Abstract: The present invention deals with separating well fluids produced from a gas condensate reservoir into a condensate phase and a gas phase. The invention provides combining two stage separation, a stabilizer column and gas processing systems to achieve increased liquid yield and dry gas for take off (export) with much lower energy costs and capital costs. First stage separation pressure is maintained between 600 psi and 1500 psi. Second stage separation pressure is maintained at a higher pressure than that required to achieve the liquid vapor pressure specification, usually between 400 psig and 600 psig. The stabilizing column produces a stabilized liquid (preferably having a vapor pressure about 8.2 psia at 80.degree. F.) by operating the column bottom at approximately 240.degree. F./50 psig.

Abstract: The addition of fibrous mixtures in intimate mixtures with particulates for fracturing and gravel packing decreases or eliminates the undesirable flowback of proppant or formation fines while stabilizing the sand pack and lowering the demand for high polymer loadings in the placement fluids. Fibers are useful for forming a porous pack in the subterranean formation. In some cases, channels or fingers of void spaces with reduced concentrations of proppant may be introduced into the proppant pack.
