Abstract: A method and device are provided for limiting, in a first operating condition, a motor vehicle internal-combustion engine torque. The operating condition, resulting from an operation of a motor vehicle brake, when the engine torque is simultaneously demanded by a driver's intention indicator, differs from a second operating condition, in which the brake is not operated. The limiting takes place at least partially by way of a controlled reduction of an advance angle efficiency in the first operating condition in comparison to the second operating condition.

Abstract: A bearing structure of a motor vehicle has at least two opposite node elements. Each of the node elements has at least one longitudinal beam segment and one transverse beam connection. A transverse beam joins the transverse beam connections to each other. A profiled transverse beam segment emerges from each transverse beam connection. The transverse beam segments are joined together by a glue connection in an overlap segment, and at least one open beam profile is set thereon to form the transverse beam.
Abstract: A headlamp for vehicles has at least one illumination device with one or more light-emitting diodes and with an optical system that is disposed in the light exit area and focuses the light of the light-emitting diodes for a forward lighting of the vehicle. At least one cooling body is provided for dissipating the heat output by the light-emitting diode, and the cooling body contains a number of cooling ribs. To configure the light cone, the cooling body is disposed in the optical axis of the light exit area of the light-emitting diodes between the light-emitting diodes and the optical system, at least the tip of a cooling rib of the cooling body is located at the focal point between the light-emitting diode and the optical system.

Abstract: A method operates a drive train the is formed of an internal combustion engine, an electric motor, a transmission and a first clutch that connects the internal combustion engine to the electric motor. During an operating state for applying a current requested torque to a transmission input with the electric motor switched on and the internal combustion engine switched off, the internal combustion engine is connected into the circuit by increasing the torque applied to the drive train by the electric motor before the internal combustion engine starts, in such a way that only the current requested torque is applied to the transmission input. Excess torque is extracted from the drive train by actuating the first clutch and applying the excess torque to the internal combustion engine in order to accelerate it. The internal combustion engine is started when its starting state is reached.

Abstract: A top for a convertible has a rear window frame, at least one roof section placed in front of it in the direction of travel when the top is closed, and a lateral top linkage. When the top is closed, a further roof section which is connected to the top linkage in an articulated manner and can be driven by the latter is provided between a front roof section and the rear window frame.

Abstract: A fuse unit for use in e.g. motor vehicles, includes an electrically conductive busbar and a plurality of connections for individual power consuming components which are connected to the busbar directly or by way of interposed fusible links so as to be electrically conductive. The busbar has a contact blade adapted to plug into a mating connector of a power supply without the interposition of a further connection between them.

Abstract: A front-end part of a motor vehicle has an air scoop with an air-guiding duct to a charge air cooler between a central air inlet opening and a lateral air inlet opening of an air-guiding element. Wherein, in a pre-installation position, the air scoop is kept folded away on a central air-guiding element and, in an installation position, is folded back and can be connected to a lateral air-guiding element.
