Abstract: A battery module (10) for the purely electric driving of a motor vehicle has a trough-shaped battery box (12) that runs around a circumferential direction, an inlet for feeding a coolant into a cooling space (30) partially bounded by the battery box (12), an outlet for conducting the coolant away from the cooling space (30), battery cells (14) in the battery box (12) and arranged in the cooling space (30), and an insulating layer (16) for fluid-tight sealing of the cooling space (30). At least one electrical pole (18) of the battery cell (14) projects out of the cooling space (30) through the insulating layer (16). The insulating layer (16) is formed from a previously liquid cured sealing compound. The insulating layer (16) can simultaneously make available a high sealing effect and a statically stabilizing effect for the battery box (12) together with a low intrinsic weight.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an optical position-measuring device for generating a plurality of phase-shifted scanning signals regarding the relative position of a fiber optic scanning head and a reflection measuring standard movable relative thereto in at least one measuring direction. In the fiber optic scanning head, a scanning reticle is disposed before the measuring standard end of an optical fiber. The scanning signals are coded in a wavelength-dependent manner. To this end, a beam incident on the scanning reticle is split into at least two sub-beams which strike the reflection measuring standard and are subsequently recombined to interfere with each other so as to generate the phase-shifted scanning signals. The sub-beams travel different optical path lengths between splitting and recombination.
Abstract: An optical position-measuring device includes a measuring standard having a first grating in a form of a periodic incremental graduation and an absolute mark. A scanning unit is displaceable relative to the measuring standard in a measuring direction. The scanning unit has at least one second grating disposed at a scanning distance from the first grating.
