  • Publication number: 20140172215
Abstract: A method for distributing a requested torque to one or two drive axles of a vehicle, wherein the requested torque depends on a driver's request. For the first drive axle a first maximum value for a torque is calculated as a function of an adhesion limit of the first drive axle. For the second drive axle a second maximum value for a torque is calculated as a function of an adhesion limit of the second drive axle. At least a first portion of the requested torque is transmitted to the first drive axle, wherein the first portion does not exceed the first maximum value. A second portion of the requested torque is fed to the second drive axle if the first portion does not correspond to the requested torque, and wherein the second portion does not exceed the second maximum value, the requested torque is divided into the first portion and the second portion as a function of at least one parameter.

  • Patent number: 8746776
Abstract: A roof construction of a motor vehicle has a fixed roll bar, and a roof element which, in the closed position, is accommodated between the roll bar and a windshield and, in the open position, is accommodated behind the roll bar in a convertible-top compartment. The roof element can be shifted from the open position into the closed position and vice versa beyond the roll bar via an opening and closing mechanism. With the roof element in the closed position, the mechanism penetrates lateral offsets of the roll bar and, in the open position, opens up the lateral offsets. The lateral offsets of the roll bar are each assigned, on the front side of the roll bar, a covering which, in the closed position of the roof element, opens up the lateral offset for the passage of the mechanism and which, in the open position, covers the lateral offsets.

  • Patent number: 8751268
Abstract: A smart placement module determines components of received medial data, such as medical reports and image montages, to forward to one or more secondary location, such as an EMR system, based on smart placement rules that are established by a user that receives the medical data, such as a referring doctor. Thus, the smart placement module decreases or removes the need for the receiving user to manually select and transfer certain medical data for storage at the EMR system. Accordingly, the receiving user, and other authorized EMR system users, may have prompt access to the medical data via their respective connections to the EMR system. In one embodiment, the smart placement module transmits a patient identification file that is usable by the receiving EMR system to allow the EMR system to associate received medical data with other data regarding a respective patient.
