  • Patent number: 8721500
Abstract: A method for controlling deceleration of a motor vehicle having an internal combustion engine with an automated clutch, in which method, when a deceleration is present, a deceleration fuel cutoff is carried out in order to generate a drag torque as a drive torque if the engine speed is higher than a deceleration fuel cutoff threshold wherein when a braking request is present, the effect of the engine speed is evaluated, a comparison is carried out between the expected engine speed or the current engine speed and the deceleration fuel cutoff threshold, and the internal combustion engine is adjusted to a deceleration mode or a deceleration fuel mode is maintained only if the expected or current engine speed is higher than the deceleration fuel cutoff threshold.

  • Patent number: 8720939
Abstract: An interior trim part for a bodywork component has a lighting system with a first component that generates a light signal and a second component that outputs the light signal toward the passenger compartment of the motor vehicle. The bodywork component has a moveable region (200) that can be moved with respect to a non-moveable region (300), from a stationary normal position into an open position displaced with respect to the non-moveable region (300). The first component of the light system generates, in the normal position of the moveable region (200), a light signal that is input into the second component which passes on the light signal in the manner of a lightguide.

  • Patent number: 8720316
Abstract: A high-pressure fuel pump includes a housing and a swash plate which is mounted in the housing and is arranged in an oil space of the housing. A drive shaft is connected to the swash plate and passes through a housing opening, and with a seal for the drive shaft, which seal is mounted in the housing in the region of the housing opening. The high-pressure fuel pump has a plurality of pump elements for sucking up, compressing and ejecting fuel, which pump elements can be acted upon consecutively by the rotatable swash plate. In a pump of this type, the fuel pump has at least one magnet, the magnetic force field of which acts on the oil space of the housing. Premature wear of the pump, in particular premature wear of the seal, is avoided since the magnet separates off iron-containing dirt particles found in the oil.

  • Publication number: 20140125028
Abstract: A stabilizer arrangement for a chassis of a motor vehicle, having at least one actuator which compensates for vehicle movements entirely or partially in the region of a wheel suspension which is connected to the stabilizer arrangement, wherein the actuator can be actuated via flexible lines. The actuator is connected to a central control unit via flexible lines to be routed from the central control unit, via openings which are arranged in a stabilizer bearing, to the actuator which interacts with a stabilizer, wherein the flexible lines are arranged around the stabilizer in a helical manner, and operation of the actuator causes a change in the diameter of the helix or the helix shape of the flexible lines which are laid in a helical manner.

  • Publication number: 20140117693
Abstract: A motor vehicle has a structural component and a first and second interior trim part, which are butt jointed directly to one another in a butt jointing region. The two interior trim parts separate a passenger compartment interior from a venting space situated between the structural component and the interior trim parts. A section or sections of the first interior trim part in the butt jointing region has a concave arched profile facing the second interior trim part, thereby canceling the butt joint and forming an air duct between the passenger compartment interior and the venting space.
