Abstract: A motor vehicle has a vehicle body and a chassis that has at least one wheel suspension device for two opposing wheel. An adjusting device is assigned to each of the wheels. The adjusting devices are coupled to one another by a stabilizer. At least two stabilizer bearings are provided for rotatable support of the stabilizer, and at least one coupling device is provided on the vehicle body for variable torque support of the stabilizer. Accordingly, a reliable level lifting function is provided, based on a sturdy configuration that is both space-saving and weight-saving. The coupling device for torque support of the stabilizer on the vehicle body may have a switchable blocking device and/or at least one spring mechanism.

Abstract: A system architecture for a motor vehicle has a control unit for identifying an authorized user and a gateway control unit for enabling at least one further data bus, and control units arranged on the at least one further data bus, following the identification of an authorized user. An external diagnostic interface contains a further identification unit and it is enabled and the data in the at least one further data bus system are thus accessible only after an authorized diagnostic tester has been identified.
Abstract: A vehicle seat, in particular a motor vehicle seat, has at least one pair of adjustable lateral cheeks provided on a seat cushion and/or on a seat back, with at least one inflatable chamber for adjusting the lateral cheek being provided in each of the lateral cheeks. A plate-shaped element is provided outside the inflatable chamber and on the same side facing a person sitting on the vehicle seat.

Abstract: A motor vehicle with a windshield wiper cover for covering a region located in front of a windshield in the direction of travel. The windshield wiper cover contains at least two elements which can be connected to each other via a double interlocking connection, and can each be fixed to the motor vehicle body. One of the two elements is configured as a service flap and, by being opened, permits access to a component arranged there below without the other element of the windshield wiper cover also having to be removed for this purpose.

Abstract: A folding top compartment lid, in particular a folding top compartment lid with an integrated engine bay lid, is pivoted into an open position and into a closed position by a so-called four-bar hinge arrangement. An actuating device is articulatedly connected to a rear and a front setting-out lever of the four-bar hinge mechanism, which actuating device is coupled to a locking device which contains locking hooks. The actuating device with the setting-out levers can be activated by a hydraulic cylinder so as to pivot into the open and closed positions in such a way that the folding top compartment lid can be moved from the locked closed position into an unlocked open position and back from the open position into the closed position.

Abstract: The invention relates to compounds of formula I having pharmacological activity towards the sigma receptor, to processes of preparation of such compounds, to pharmaceutical compositions comprising them, and to their use for the treatment and or prophylaxis of a disease in which the sigma receptor is involved.
Abstract: A sensor mounting arrangement for a vehicle has a headlamp shell (5) with a recess (14) and a hole (16) spaced from the recess (14). A protective plate (11) has a projection (15) that protrudes into the recess (14) of the headlamp shell (5). A blind rivet bolt (18) is riveted to the protective plate (11) at a location spaced from the projection (15) of the protective plate (11). The blind rivet bolt (18) has a bolt head (17) that passes through the hole (16) in the headlamp shell (5). A crash sensor (19) is connected firmly to the blind rivet bolt (18) and hence to the protective plate (11). The connection ensures that forces generated in the event of a crash will not cause the protective plate (5) to shear off the headlamp shell (5) before the sensor (19) has time to respond.

Abstract: A biologically active composition to treat colorectal cancer includes an extract of the plant Schisandra chinensis and a suitable pharmaceutical formulation. The extract can be at least one of gomisin A, angeloylgomisin H, deoxyschisandrin and gomisin N, showing activities against human tumor cell line HT-29 in the range of about 716 ?M to about 43 ?M. A suitable pharmaceutical formulation can be any one of a pill, a tablet, a capsule, a liquid solution, a liquid suspension, a powder, an intravenous solution, a gel and a suppository form. The extract is prepared by grinding the dried berries, extracting with hexane, extracting the marc with dichloromethane, extracting the dichloromethane soluble fraction with ethyl acetate, removing fatty materials in the dichloromethane-ethyl acetate soluble fraction with hexane, and fractionating the total hexane insoluble material extract using analytical high performance liquid chromatography equipped with automated repeat injection/collection cycles.
