Abstract: Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for plasma-supported coating and surface treatment of voluminous parts. The apparatus features a vacuum chamber (3, 20, 32) comprising one or more pumps, a first resonant circuit with a first high frequency generator (5, 17, 28, 40), with an adjustable capacitance and an adjustable inductance of the first resonant circuit, and a first connection for integrating the part (1, 21, 32, 39) into the first resonant circuit, with at least a second resonant circuit with a second high frequency generator (18, 29, 40), with a second connector for integrating the part (1, 21, 32, 39) into the second resonant circuit and an adjustable capacitance and an adjustable inductance of the second resonant circuit. According to the disclosed method the inductance and/or the capacitance of the first and second resonant circuits are determined based on the part (1, 21, 31, 39).
Abstract: A cylinder block has functional surfaces machined by cutting and with at least one cylinder (5) with a coating. To simplify the production of the cylinder block, the cylinder block (1) has an inwardly projecting collar (25, 26) at the end of the cylinder (5) to delimit the cylinder (5) in the axial direction. The side of the collar (25, 26) facing away the from the cylinder (5) constitutes a stop for a suction extraction device (46) that serves for extracting excess coating material by suction.

The blast nozzle device is designed for the targeted impingement of the outer skin of the motor vehicle by air flow, and the transport device is designed such that the blast nozzle device and the motor vehicle may be moved relative to one another. A microphone array is positioned in the interior of the motor vehicle and measures the flow noise in the interior of the motor vehicle. The microphone array is preferably a spherical array. The flow noise in the interior of the motor vehicle generated by the air flow is measured by use of the microphone array.

Abstract: A lighting system has an array (100) of at least one light-emitting solid-state element such as a light-emitting diode (LED) or a laser diode. A voltage source (10), which may supply either alternating or direct current, energizes the array. Abstract: A motor vehicle, especially a passenger car, is provided with an air-conducting device arranged in its rear area. Abstract: A system for transferring medical records from one or more source locations to a destination location is described. The system includes a plurality of medical site clients, each of which has access to medical records at a corresponding medical site, and an exam distribution server connected to each of the plurality of medical site clients via a network. The exam distribution server configured to receive an exam transfer request that specifies exam criteria and the destination location to which medical exams that have the criteria should be transferred. When the exam distribution server receives an exam transfer request, the server forwards the request to the medical site clients. When one of the medical site clients receives an exam transfer request, the medical site client sends all exam records meeting the criteria of the exam transfer request to the exam distribution server, and the exam distribution server forwards received exam records to the destination specified in the exam transfer request.

Abstract: A chassis is provided for a track-guided toy vehicle which is supported on a front axle and a rear axle and has a guide wedge that is movable about a first vertical pivot axle and cooperates with a groove in the raceway.
