    Abstract: A process for forming a multilayer film includes coating a polymeric substrate film with a liquid fluoropolymer coating. The liquid fluoropolymer coating includes a fluoropolymer, solvent, a compatible cross-linkable adhesive polymer, and a cross-linking agent. The process further includes cross-linking the compatible cross-linkable adhesive polymer to form a cross-linked polymer network in the fluoropolymer coating, removing the solvent from the fluoropolymer coating, and adhering the fluoropolymer coating to the polymeric substrate film. A liquid fluoropolymer coating composition includes a fluoropolymer selected from homopolymers and copolymers of vinyl fluoride and homopolymers and copolymers of vinylidene fluoride, solvent, a compatible cross-linkable adhesive polymer, and a cross-linking agent. A fluoropolymer coated film includes a polymeric substrate film and a fluoropolymer coating on the polymeric substrate film.

    Abstract: The current invention is referred to a process for biological wastewater treatment. One or more ejectors pump atmospheric oxygen in a bioreactor by aspirating air. The innovative concept of the system relies on the installation of the ejector (s) over and outside of the liquid to be treated at the bioreactor. The operation of the system consists basically in one centrifugal pump per ejector, that pumps the effluent through the ejector, creating with the effluent the liquid motor that aspires air in specific points of the ejector. The ejector (s) are used for bioreactors having a minimum depth of 7.5 m and a draft tube inside. The ejector is characterized by a set of non moving pieces (2), an ejection cup, an aspiration section, a superior conic section of mixing air/liquid, a tubular acceleration section and, an inferior expansion zone. The ejector generates a ratio of aspirated air to motion liquid equal or superior to 2.5 (volume/volume).

    Abstract: A method for generating a dither mask is disclosed using a local stochastic technique for use for the halftoning of grey scale images by a pixel by pixel comparison of the images against the dither mask. The dither mask is generated by producing a sequence of dot profiles (each dot profile of the sequence corresponding to a grey scale level) using a stacking constraint with incremental grey scale level such that for each dot profile of the sequence the same pixels are selected compared to the preceding dot profile and the increment in the or each dot profile is realized by selecting at least one additional pixel. When determining the position of an additional pixel, the aspect ratio between the dot pitch in a predetermined direction and a direction perpendicular thereto when rendering images is taken into account.

The trick play advertisements may be targeted. An alternate or entirely unrelated advertisement can also be displayed as the trick play advertisement.

These and other nickel complexes of neutral and monoanionic bidentate ligands copolymerize ethylene and polar comonomers, especially acrylates, at relatively high ethylene pressures and surprisingly high temperatures, and give good incorporation of the polar comonomers and good polymer productivity. These copolymers are often unique structures, which are described.

During the dyeing process a sampling and analysis device (14) automatically takes samples of liquid from the container at intervals and performs a spectroscopic analysis thereon. An electronic control and calculation device (15) receives the spectroscopic analysis data and calculates therefrom the concentrations of the various dyestuffs in the dip. The behavior thus obtained of the dip can be memorized for future use and/or can be used to command appropriate corrective parameters of the dyeing process.

    Abstract: A portable handheld electronic scale can weigh luggage and other objects. The scale includes an electronic weight-measuring device configured to measure and indicate the weight of the luggage. If the weight of the item of luggage exceeds the weight restriction of an airline, the traveler can reduce the weight of the item of luggage below the weight limit set by the airline by removing some of the contents of the item of luggage. Depending upon the particular embodiment of the scale, a user can comfortably hold the scale either parallel or perpendicular to the ground when the scale is used to lift the item of luggage off of a ground surface in order to obtain the weight of the item of luggage. An audible signal may be given when the measured weight is fixed on a display and/or when it is greater than a set limit.
