A representative system including solar panel tile having a top side for facing away from a structure, a bottom side for facing the structure, a left side, a right side, an upper side for facing the upslope direction and lower side for facing the downslope direction, the solar panel tile defining a cavity sized and shaped for mounting therein a solar panel, the solar panel tile having a first rib extending across the cavity; and a solar panel mounted within the cavity and supported by the first rib such that the solar panel is flush mounted with respect to the top side of the solar panel tile; the solar panel tile being a first of multiple solar panel tiles, with the multiple tiles being operative to engage in a side-by-side arrangement to form at least a partial course of tiles of the system.

    Abstract: An exhaust air shutter assembly may include a housing having a dividing wall separating the exhaust air shutter assembly into an inside portion and an outside portion. An opening may be formed in the dividing wall and a frame may be mounted around the perimeter of the hole. Disposed on the frame may be a gasket that extends around the entire perimeter of the hole. The exhaust air shutter also may include at least one shutter flap mounted adjacent to the frame with a hinge such that the shutter flap can pivot between a closed position and an open position. When the shutter flap is in the open position, an air flow path exists from the inside portion of the exhaust air shutter assembly to the outside portion. When the shutter flap is in the closed position the air flow path is blocked. The shutter flap is configured to contact the gasket mounted to the frame when the shutter flap is in the closed position, thereby creating a seal between the shutter flap and the opening in the dividing wall.

    Abstract: A knee pad holding mechanism for holding a knee pad over the knee region of a pantleg having a first length of fabric material and a second length of fabric material operatively secured together to form a pocket, the pocket being sized and shaped to receive a knee pad and having at least one opening located along each of the outside edges of the pocket for receiving a strap associated with the knee pad. In one embodiment, the first length of fabric material can be secured directly to the knee region of a pantleg wherein the pantleg forms the second length of fabric material. Other embodiments include using a loop, eyelet, slits or an additional section of fabric having a slit associated therewith for receiving a strap associated with the knee pad. The present mechanism is also adaptable for use to receive an elbow pad.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing soil reinforced by microbe-based bio-binders and soil produced by the method. The bio-binders are not harmful to humans, do not cause environmental pollution and secure sufficiently the soil strength and resistance against wind. According to the method, the soil is prepared by binding sand whose major components are silica and alumina, ureolytic microbes, urea, calcium ion, and polymer fibers, and the content of polymer fibers in sand ranges from 0.05 wt % to 5 wt %. In addition, it is preferable that the microbes provide CaCO3 at a rate at 1˜7×10?9 g CaCO3 ppt cell?1 hr?1 under optimum conditions.

The individual sections include integral, vertically disposed support walls that provide both vertical support for the weight of the bulk storage container and resistance to collapse under shear forces arising from movement of the container. The interconnecting individual sections may be disconnected from one another and reconfigured to fit in a smaller space, such as onto a pallet or within a shipping container, thereby facilitating storage of the disassembled modular tank stand.

    Abstract: A multi-chip stacking method to reduce voids between stacked chips is revealed. A first chip is disposed on a substrate, and a plurality of first bonding wires are formed by wire bonding to electrically connect the first chip and the substrate. A second chip is disposed on an active surface of the first chip where a FOW (film over wire) adhesive is formed on a back surface of the second chip. The FOW adhesive partially encapsulates the first bonding wires and adheres to the active surface of the first chip. Then, the substrate is placed in a pressure oven to provide a positive pressure greater than one atm during thermally curing the FOW adhesive with exerted pressures. Accordingly, voids can be reduced inside the FOW adhesive during the multi-chip stacked processes where issues of poor adhesion and popcorn between chips can be avoided.
