Abstract: The present invention relates to a magnetic memory cell, which controls the magnetization direction of the free magnetic layer of a Magnetic Tunnel Junction (MTJ) device using a spin torque transfer, and enables the implementation of a magnetic logic circuit, in which memory and logic circuit functions are integrated. The magnetic memory cell includes an MTJ device (10) including a top electrode (11) and a bottom electrode (13), which are provided to allow current to flow therethrough, and a fixed layer (15) and a free layer (17), which are magnetic layers respectively deposited on a top and a bottom of an insulating layer (19), required to insulate the top and bottom electrodes from each other. A current control circuit (50) controls a flow of current flowing between the top and bottom electrodes, and changes a magnetization direction of the free layer according to an input logic level.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an apparatus and method for packet classification using a Bloom filter and includes determining a matching length of how long each field value of one or more fields in an input packet coincides with a field value of the corresponding field stored in a rule set by performing a field-by-field search on the fields in the input packet, and generating a tuple list made up of a combination of one or more of the matching length for the respective fields; selecting particular tuples existing in the rule set from the tuple list; filtering each of the selected tuples by using the Bloom filter; and searching for a best matching rule as a search pool exclusively within the tuples with the positive result of the filtering. According to the present disclosure, the object tuples to search can be substantially relieved to improve the searching performance.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a gene associated with ethanol tolerance, and yeast strains and uses using the same. The yeast strain of this invention may growth under the condition not only with high-concentration ethanol, preferably 6-15% ethanol, but also in high osmotic pressure, preferably 30-40% glucose or sucrose. The present inventors developed yeast strains resistant to high-concentration glucose and ethanol, suggesting that they would be valuably applied to much effective ethanol production, and also be utilized as a superbacteria having tolerance to various stresses for ethanol production with high efficiency.

Abstract: The vertical silicon photomultiplier according to the present invention includes a trench electrode and a PN-junction layer perpendicular to the trench electrode forms and can maximize the quantum efficiency at optical wavelengths, 200˜900 nm in such a way that: it generates electric fields horizontal thereto, by applying a reverse bias voltage to between the trench electrode and the PN-junction layer, so that, although ultraviolet light does not reach the PN-junction layer but is incident on the surface, electron-hole pairs can be produced by the horizontally generated electric fields although and an avalanche breakdown can be thus generated, and it allows ultraviolet light, capable of being transmitted to a relatively deep depth, to react with the PN-junction layer.
