The software includes instructions for causing a data-processing system to evaluate an indicator of a historical worth of the resource pool, to determine a draw amount at least in part on the basis of this indicator, and to output data representative of that draw amount.

Abstract: Described herein are methods, systems, and computer program products for seamless interoperability between multiple computing nodes. A server computing device receives, from a first computing node in a plurality of computing nodes, a message for transmission to one or more other computing nodes, the message generated by the first computing node based upon application-specific instructions from a first application on the first computing node, where the plurality of computing nodes is defined as a virtual network at the server computing device and each computing node includes an ensemble module for communicating with the server. The server determines one or more other computing nodes in the virtual network to receive the message. The server transmits the message to the determined one or more other computing nodes, where each of the destination computing nodes formats the message into application-specific instructions for a second application on the determined node.

Abstract: A system and method configured to provide access to and management of information from a plurality of third party software development systems from a single application, where each software development system has a unique data module. Data is retrieved from third party software development tools and cached in a temporary repository to be merged and linked. Changes made are temporary until saved, at which point the changes are saved back to the software development system that originated the data. The system provides interactive manipulation and a consolidated view of merged data for more efficient management, collaboration and real-time editing without going into each individual software development system. This set up embraces and enhances the agile software development interaction while overcoming the software administration, management and maintenance issues of having a plurality of software development tools across a variety of project teams and locations, including geographically disperse locations.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for matching registered investment advisors based upon succession planning objectives. A server computing device receives a matching request from a first client computing device, the request including an identity of a first registered investment advisor and a succession planning track assigned to the first registered investment advisor. The server computing device generates a list of one or more other registered investment advisors based upon the succession planning track assigned to the first registered investment advisor, where the list includes an identity for each of the one or more other registered investment advisors. The server computing device transmits the list to the first client computing device. The server computing device receives a selection of a second registered investment advisor from the list. The server computing device transmits a notification to a second client computing device associated with the second registered investment advisor.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for generating a funding and investment strategy associated with an underfunded pension plan. A computing device determines an amount of funding required to fund the pension plan to a predetermined liability limit, where the amount of funding required is adjusted. The computing device determines an amount of debt to incur based on the amount of funding required and determines a tax savings amount based on an interest rate associated with the amount of debt to incur. The computing device adjusts the amount of debt to incur based on the tax savings amount and contributes the incurred debt amount into the pension plan as a pension plan asset. The computing device generates a strategic plan for investing the contributed pension plan asset in long-duration bonds. The computing device acquires long-duration bonds that have characteristics consistent with the strategic plan.

Abstract: An enterprise-based tree structure system is provided that includes a plurality of servers for receiving and processing a request for retrieval of enterprise-based information of an employee. The enterprise-based information includes information detailing the employee's contacts and affiliation within an enterprise. The enterprise-based information is stored in one or more of the servers. A framework aids the servers to process and retrieve the enterprise-based information stored in the one or more servers needed to service the request. The framework processes the enterprise-based information allowing a user the ability to understand and identify the employee's contact and affiliation with the enterprise.

Abstract: An imperfection in a seal of an envelope can be identified. The envelope is moved laterally, and a positive flow of air is delivered to a leading edge of a top flap of the envelope to separate the top flap from a bottom flap or a side flap of the envelope at the imperfection in the seal of the envelope. Based on the separation of the top flap from the bottom flap or the side flap of the envelope, it can be determined whether the seal has the imperfection.

A first status indicator, indicating whether the first change has passed a quality check, is associated with the first change request. The first change request is moved to a next step in the work flow process if the associated first status indicator indicates the first change has passed the quality check. A queue control program (QCP) manages both application and network resources in the application.
