  • Patent number: 9648372
Abstract: Described are methods and apparatuses, including computer program products, for personalizing media content. A server determines content data likely to be requested by users, and generates common sets of information using the content data. The server receives a request for a digital media stream from a client device, and generates a first set of frames which include content data specific to the user and keys corresponding to a selected common set of information. The server combines the first set of frames and the requested stream to generate a personalized stream. The server transmits the personalized stream to a downstream device, which generates a second set of frames using content data corresponding to the one or more keys. The downstream device combines the second set of frames and the personalized stream to generate an updated stream, and transmits the updated stream to the client device.

  • Patent number: 9606900
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for intelligent automation of computer software test scripts and code requirements. A server automatically scans code files to identify changes made to the code files. The server selects test automation script files that are related to the changed code files. The server parses each selected script file to determine whether the script file includes changes that correspond to the changes made to the related code files. If the script file includes the corresponding changes, the server determine whether a current version of the script file is located on each of one or more test servers and installs the current version of the script file on each test server that does not have the current version. If the script file does not include the corresponding changes, the server transmits a message to a remote computing device to indicate that the script file requires the corresponding changes.

  • Patent number: 9576051
Abstract: Various embodiments relate to a system and related method for scanning active instances of an application within a system. Unique identifiers in the form of fingerprints, tags, or metadata can be associated with a target application. A manager can then scan the process tables and file system directories of the servers within the system to find active processes and stored files that include the unique identifier. In some embodiments, the manager scans the active processes while they are running to search for the unique ID within the process' command line structure. In some embodiments, the manager also finds processes or files that do not have the unique identifier, but were previously associated with the unique identifier. The manager can then report the server and application information to user. Such information can include which of the one or more servers has the target application as an active process.

  • Patent number: 9413758
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses, including computer program products, are described for communication session transfer between a plurality of computing devices. A first computing device detects a presence of a second computing device in proximity to the first device, where the first device has established a first session with a remote computing device, and obtains first user authentication data. The first device establishes a wireless connection to the second device. A first token is transmitted to the second device. A second token and second user authentication data are received from the second device. The tokens and the user authentication data is authenticated. The first device transmits, to the second device, information indicating a state of the first communication session to enable the second device to establish a second communication session with the remote device, where the second communication session is established using the state of the first communication session.

  • Patent number: 9344436
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for proximity-based and user-based access control using wearable devices. A short-range frequency reader coupled to a target device detects a plurality of wearable devices in proximity to the reader, each wearable device comprising a short-range frequency antenna. The reader identifies, for each wearable device, a user wearing the wearable device. The reader determines, for each wearable device, a distance from the reader and an orientation in relation to the target device. The reader determines a level of access available to the target device based upon the identity of each user, the distance of each wearable device from the reader, the orientation of each wearable device in relation to the target device, and the distance of the wearable devices from each other in a three-dimensional space.

  • Patent number: 9344892
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for mobile device authentication and call routing using dual-tone multi-frequency signaling. A server computing device receives a request to establish a call between a mobile device and a remote device, the request including context parameters and automatic number identification data. The server retrieves a first phone number and a dial delay value based upon the context parameters, generates a security token and a request token, and stores the security token, the request token, the context parameters, and the ANI data in a database record. The mobile device dials the first phone number to establish a connection with a telephony application. The mobile device generates DTMF tones based upon the request token and transmits the DTMF tones to the telephony application. The telephony application validates the request token and requests a second phone number to connect the mobile device and the remote device.
