Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for mobile device authentication and call routing using dual-tone multi-frequency signaling. A server computing device receives a request to establish a call between a mobile device and a remote device, the request including context parameters and automatic number identification data. The server retrieves a first phone number and a dial delay value based upon the context parameters, generates a security token and a request token, and stores the security token, the request token, the context parameters, and the ANI data in a database record. The mobile device dials the first phone number to establish a connection with a telephony application. The mobile device generates DTMF tones based upon the request token and transmits the DTMF tones to the telephony application. The telephony application validates the request token and requests a second phone number to connect the mobile device and the remote device.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for proximity-based and user-based access control using wearable devices. A short-range frequency reader coupled to a target device detects a plurality of wearable devices in proximity to the reader, each wearable device comprising a short-range frequency antenna. The reader identifies, for each wearable device, a user wearing the wearable device. The reader determines, for each wearable device, a distance from the reader and an orientation in relation to the target device. The reader determines a level of access available to the target device based upon the identity of each user, the distance of each wearable device from the reader, the orientation of each wearable device in relation to the target device, and the distance of the wearable devices from each other in a three-dimensional space.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses, including computer program products, are described for communication session transfer between a plurality of computing devices. A first computing device detects a presence of a second computing device in proximity to the first device, where the first device has established a first communication session with a remote computing device. The first device establishes a wireless connection to the second device. A first token is transmitted to the second device. A second token is received from the second device. The second token is authenticated via comparison to the first token. The first device transmits, to the second device, information indicating a state of the first communication session to enable the second device to establish a second communication session with the remote device, where the second communication session is established using the state of the first communication session.

Abstract: Described are methods and apparatuses, including computer program products, for inserting personalized information into digital content. A digital media player receives a personalized video content stream comprising personalized data associated with a user that replaces one or more frames of requested video content. The player extracts the personalized data from the one or more replaced frames of the video content stream, and displays the personalized data and the video content stream to a user.

Abstract: Described are methods and apparatuses, including computer program products, for personalizing video content. A server receives a request for a digital video stream from a client device and generates a first set of personalized frames to be inserted into the requested digital video stream. The server combines the first set of personalized frames and the requested digital video stream to generate a personalized video stream and transmits the personalized video stream to a downstream device. The downstream device generates a second set of personalized frames to be inserted into the personalized video stream and combines the second set of personalized frames and the personalized video stream to generate an updated personalized video stream for transmission to the client device.

Abstract: Described are computer implemented augmented reality techniques for public and private seminars that includes receive an indication of a start of a segment of a live presentation, the live presentation comprising at least one segment, with the at least one segment having at least one presentation component; receive information related to a plurality of users, receive rules to analyze the information and select from the information, private information pertaining to a particular user, with the selected information being relevant to the at least one presentation component of the at least one segment of the live presentation, generate an image that when rendered on a display device renders the private information pertaining to the particular user for that presentation component, and send the image of the private information to a device associated with the particular user.

Abstract: Various embodiments relate to a system and related method for retrieving configuration information of a computer network. Unique identifiers in the form of fingerprints, tags, or metadata can be associated with a target application. A manager can scan process tables and file system directories of servers within the system to find processes and files that include the unique identifier. The manager can save the server and application information in a configuration database that can subsequently be searched. Such information can include which of the one or more servers has the target application as an active process.

Abstract: Computer-implemented techniques for viewing a recorded presentation are described. The techniques include receiving by one or more computers a request from a user to view a recorded presentation, retrieving, by one or more computing systems, a segment of the recorded presentation that is comprised of plural segments and information specifying times of occurrences of trigger events associated with corresponding segments in the recorded presentation, retrieving by the one or more computers private information of the user relevant to a first segment of the recorded presentation based on a first trigger event, generating, by the one or more computing systems, a re-cast first segment of the recorded presentation, with the re-cast first segment including the private information of the user, and sending by the one or more computing systems, the re-cast segment to a computing device associated with the user.

The platform independent system includes a consuming application executing on a first computer that handles the search request provided by a user. The search request includes instructions to retrieve selected data from a second application. A web interface module executing on a second computer receives the search request and formulates search routines regardless of the search engine logic or infrastructure of the consuming application to connect to a data model that contains the selected data for retrieval. The web interface module structures data associated with the search request to be compatible for searching with the data model.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for transferring an authenticated session between security contexts. A mobile device establishes a first authenticated session between a native application and a server computing device via a communications network and requests transfer of the first authenticated session to a browser application. The mobile device receives session transfer parameters from a first Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) authentication system associated with the first authenticated session after transfer is requested, the session transfer parameters including a web address and a SAML security identifier. The mobile device directs the browser application to a second SAML authentication system using the session transfer parameters to initialize the browser application and validates the SAML identifier at the SAML authentication system to generate an authentication credential.

A request to create a digital trade order ticket is received by a computing device. A template is selected from a plurality of templates in the event that an authentication indicator indicates the request is authenticated. Each template includes a consumer identifier, trade order characteristics that are unique to a user assigned to the consumer identifier, trade order characteristics that are generic to all users, and instructions that are unique to the user. The template that is selected has a consumer identifier that matches the consumer identifier in the request. The digital trade order ticket is displayed to the user based on the template.

A server computing device receives security risk data elements from a plurality of data sources, the data elements corresponding to a transaction submitted by a remote computing device to the server computing device for execution. The server computing device aggregates the security risk data elements into a weighted risk matrix. The server computing device generates a risk score for the submitted transaction based upon the weighted risk matrix. The server computing device determines an internal environment risk factor and an external environment risk factor based upon environmental risk data received from the plurality of data sources.

The method includes receiving tagging decisions for multiple documents made by a first reviewer during a first time period and sampling a subset of these documents based on a first confidence level and first confidence interval. The method further includes receiving tagging decisions made by a second reviewer related to the subset of the documents, from which values of multiple quality-control metrics are determined. The method further includes calculating a risk-accuracy value based in part on the values of the quality-control metrics and recommending a second confidence level and a second confidence interval for sampling a second set of documents reviewed by the first reviewer during a second time period.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for secure video conferencing. A server computing device receives a request to establish a video conference for a sensitive transaction from a first device associated with a user. The server authenticates the first device. The server establishes a conference between the first device and a second device of a second party to the sensitive transaction. The server transmits video images associated with cameras coupled to the first device to the second device, the images comprising a view of the user and an area surrounding the user. The server determines whether persons other than the user are present in the area surrounding the user. The server transmits an alert to the second device if persons other than the user are present, where the alert includes a prompt on the second device for the second party to confirm with the user whether the other persons are authorized.
