Abstract: An enterprise-based tree structure system is provided that includes a plurality of servers for receiving and processing a request for retrieval of enterprise-based information of an employee. The enterprise-based information includes information detailing the employee's contacts and affiliation within an enterprise. The enterprise-based information is stored in one or more of the servers. A framework aids the servers to process and retrieve the enterprise-based information stored in the one or more servers needed to service the request. The framework processes the enterprise-based information allowing a user the ability to understand and identify the employee's contact and affiliation with the enterprise.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method comprising: receiving, from a device used by a user, a request to access a resource hosted by a computer system; identifying, by the computer system, a level of risk associated with the user requesting access to the resource; adjusting, by the computer system an authentication standard for access to the resource, adjusting based on the identified level of risk; determining values for authentication factors used in authenticating the user's access to the resource; applying weights to the values for the authentication factors; and determining, based on a comparison of the weighted values to the adjusted authentication standard, whether the user is authorized to access the resource.

Abstract: There are methods and apparatus, including computer program products, for service improvement techniques for a transportation service provider using mobile devices. In one aspect there is received user-entered data for at least one field present in a provided electronic form. The form includes a link that, when activated, establishes a voice channel between the passenger and a customer representative and provides a unique identifier associated with the user-entered data that enables a customer representative to retrieve the user-entered data. In another aspect, there is a graphical representation that is transmitted to a customer or a driver to facilitate execution of a reservation of a transportation service to be provided to the customer by the driver. In another aspect, there is a location range received from a wireless handheld device associated with a driver and data received from the driver indicative of a more accurate location within the location range.

The envelope is moved laterally, and a positive flow of air is delivered to a leading edge of a top flap of the envelope to separate the top flap from a bottom flap or a side flap of the envelope at the imperfection in the seal of the envelope. Based on the separation of the top flap from the bottom flap or the side flap of the envelope, it can be determined whether the seal has the imperfection.

Abstract: A first change request is generated in a work flow process to implement a first change to a portion of content within the benefits content system. A first status indicator, indicating whether the first change has passed a quality check, is associated with the first change request. A second status indicator, indicating whether the first status indicator should be overridden, is associated with the first change request. The first change request is moved to a next step in the work flow process if the associated first status indicator indicates the first change has passed the quality check. The first change request is moved to the next step in the work flow process if the associated first status indicator indicates the first change has failed the quality check and the associated second status indicator indicates that the first status indicator should be overridden.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for operating a master trust that holds a portfolio of assets for plural feeder funds including at least a mutual fund and an exchange traded fund (ETF) is described. The master is a multi-class master fund of for feeder funds including an ETF class and mutual fund class. Shares in the ETF class and mutual fund class are exchanged between the mutual fund and master and the ETF and master according to types of transactions.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method including, retrieving information indicative of aggregate income that is attributable to a plurality of collegiate sports teams and income that is attributable to a particular collegiate sports team in the plurality, and for the particular collegiate sports team, determining an athlete residual value that is at least partly based on the aggregate income that is attributable to the plurality of collegiate sports teams and the income that is attributable to the particular collegiate sports team in the plurality, determining, based on the athlete residual value, a portion of the aggregate income that is revenue shared with a particular athlete who is a member of the particular collegiate sports team, and causing the determined portion of the aggregate income to be placed in a student athlete retirement trust for the particular athlete.

Abstract: A system for managing network information is provided that includes a policy database that defines handling both application and network resources in both a network space and an application space. A queue control program (QCP) manages both application and network resources in the application. The QCP queries the policy database to retrieve a selective rule associated with managing network congestion due in part by execution of an application or network resource.

Abstract: A network monitoring system is provided that includes a plurality of tiers being arranged in a network having a plurality of hardware and software resources for executing a selective number of applications. The tiers include disparate technology stack formats. A platform resource receives monitoring information from the tiers in their respective disparate technology formats and stores the monitoring information where the monitoring information is normalized into a format that is universally recognized. An aggregation presentation module aggregates and analyzes the monitoring information from the platform resource to determine if there are any anomalies of the hardware and software resources, and formats the monitoring information to be presented as selected real-time performance analytics to a user.

Abstract: A system for determining a viral entity in a networking environment is provided that includes a presentation tier module that includes a front end user interface to make application calls to start a service. A data tier module receives a selective application call from the presentation tier module and gathers known viral information to be benchmarked for further analysis. A logic tier module sends a request to the data tier module and employs stochastic modeling to process data from a plurality of sources that is likely to be viral.

Abstract: Various embodiments relate to a system and related method for retrieving configuration information of a computer network. Unique identifiers in the form of fingerprints, tags, or metadata can be associated with a target application. A manager can scan process tables and file system directories of servers within the system to find processes and files that include the unique identifier. The manager can save the server and application information in a configuration database that can subsequently be searched. Such information can include which of the one or more servers has the target application as an active process.

Abstract: A financial account is established using a mobile computing device. A digital image of an applicant's identification having text based components is captured. The digital image of the identification is processed to recognize at least a portion of the text based components. The portion of the text based components is used to complete an application for the financial account. The digital image of the identification is transmitted to a regulatory body. Verification of the identity of the applicant is received from the regulatory body. The financial account for the applicant is established.

Abstract: An automated account management system provides a user with the ability to establish rules that dictate how the account management system is to manage the user's accounts. Once the user specifies a set of rules, the system automatically manages multiple accounts across multiple financial institutions in accordance with the user-defined rules. Other features, such as an on-line bill payment system, a money transfer system, and a retirement planning system, may be integrated within the automated account management system to provide the user with even greater control over his or her financial assets.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method is provided for assigning tasks to resources. The method includes receiving one or more constraints corresponding to each of the tasks and one or more constraints corresponding to each of the resources. The method also includes receiving a value from a user defining at least one of a plurality of variables including: (i) a resource variable representing resources available for allocation to the tasks, (ii) a duration variable representing a time frame for completing the tasks, and iii) a scope variable representing one or more of the plurality of tasks requiring execution. The method further includes applying a first optimization scheme to determine a value for each undefined variable to formulate a task delivery plan and applying a second optimization scheme to determine a task for assignment to a resource.

Abstract: A asset planning and tracking system plans and tracks progress towards a savings goal and analyzes the consumption of assets that are being used to satisfy the savings goal. The system may further be configured to analyze a user's periodic (e.g., monthly, quarterly, yearly) transactions and provide suggested transactions if the user has excess income for the period. An asset planning and tracking system may be implemented in the context of a retirement planning system to aid a non-retired user in planning for his or her retirement and to aid a retired user in tracking the consumption of retirement assets.
